5-Star Hotels in Central Visayas, Philippines

We love Nustar so much! This is probably our 5th time here! Stayed here from Nov 5 to 7 as it’s Mine and my bros bday and it was after Typhoon Tino. As always they are very accomodating, friendly and helpful and gave me a piece of cake and fruit bowl but this time I ask for a happy birthday note on the monitor for background pic for me & entire family as celebration but they keep telling me they will send someone up but no one really came from the IT department . I did expect a happy birthday greeting on the monitor it would have been very special, but I understand as maybe they are so busy and under staff because of the typhoon and instead of 2 pm check and we were able to check in very late like 5:30 pm because they’re probably under staffs but all of these did not ruin our overall stay as new star staffs are all very welcoming. We had birthday dinner in the good luck hotpot which is just inside Nustar as well. Thank you Nustar for being very welcoming , friendly and hand on chest when Greeting guest is such a Nustar trademark  please trade me a guest feel welcome and at home

The Hotel has the charme of a very nice resort. Unfortunatly the price is way above the value you receive. The hotel needs a serious upgrade in nearly everything. I nearly paid 500 € per night and received an old room without any additional benefits. A Hairdryer needs to be requested. The Eqipment for snorkling is from the poorest quality and the glasses for complementary water at the pool have seen better days 10 years ago. All in all a nice hotel, but the staff can´t make up for the shear lack of investment. I am not disappointed because I have had a nice time, but everywhere else, you get more for your money.

Hrmmm this one is a tricky one as we had a few unexplained situations. Firstly, the hotel itself was previously a Marriot 5-Star back in the day prior to be taken over in 2018 by the Seda Group. Secondly, there is so much ongoing renovation and construction that you need to be aware of; Noise coming from New Construction, the in hotel pool is unavailable from Feb-2025 and guests must walk across the street to another organisation's pool. Unfortunately this was a deal breaker for us. The food was average with cheaper and better tasting food located just minutes away by walking through the carpark. Overall the guest lounge (located on level 12) is a bonus but is super budget, not 4-Star Material. P.S. There is no rooftop bar, only a lounge overlooking a construction site. P.S.S The House of Lechon is 5 mins by Grab which is a plus.

Overall, it was a pretty good stay. The breakfast was nice with a good variety of options, and I highly recommend the Filipino egg rolls. The pool isn't huge, but it's adequate, though I'd suggest getting there early to snag a spot when it's busy. The beach is quite rocky, so beach shoes are a must. There are plenty of fish in the ocean, so remember to bring your own snorkeling gear. It's best to drive here if possible, as having a car makes things much more convenient. Grab is an option too, but I found that the Didi app was generally cheaper than Grab at the moment.

The place is nice and luxurious. A lot of amenities and a butler too. They gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates and cookies everyday. The buffet, afternoon tea and cocktail hour was so good too.

I enjoyed my stay in Crimson Resort, the room is big and spacious for families, the staff are friendly and well trained, the four pools are huge and fun and the daily breakfast is delicious. We especially enjoyed the foam party at adult pool and Crimzone pool, the playground in Crimsone, the seaweed collection activity, snorkeling and the complete amenities of the room. Cebu beach is so pretty. Big shout-out to Clint in breakfast for his very warm service to me and my daughter. Cons: - There was no housekeeping done on 2nd day of my stay which was not informed to me in advance, I think that was not professional. - They don’t allow food delivery in but the food in the resort is not that delicious to be had everyday (I tried sisig, inasal and pizza). - You need grab or taxi to go out to Cebu city (and face the jam) as the shuttle only runs 3x a day, so it’s not convenient if you want to explore Cebu.

Excellent hotel with great facilities. In house dinning, poolside bar and rooftop bar are great for unwinding. Front desk, housekeeping staffs show excellent professionalism. Nearby malls for other dinning options are within walking distance. Excellent stay at the hotel.

It is a nice location to travel to town or even just stay in the hotel. The breakfast has variety choices and wont get bored easily. For the photo of the towel, actually we request for 2 more bottle of mineral water but I don’t know why the house keeping talk about towel. And we check in for two adult but the house keeper insist only give one towel and not even a hand towel. At the end, we call to receiptionist to request the towel and they mentioned they suppose to provide 2 towels. Their internal communication within department shall be enhanced for this. Others cleanliness and hygiene is still acceptable

Stayed for 2 nights with my family — our first time to try the new building/wing — and it truly exceeded our expectations. We were given two adjacent rooms with a common access area, making it feel like we were staying in our own private suite. The rooms were impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. The pool view from our rooms was soothing and relaxing, setting the perfect tone for a family getaway. Breakfast at the 12th floor was a delightful experience. We used to dine at Abalone in the OJ Wing during previous stays, but this time was extra special — great variety, excellent food quality, and warm, attentive staff who made the morning even more pleasant. The service throughout the resort was consistently exceptional — from check-in, housekeeping, and dining staff, everyone was courteous, welcoming, and always ready to help. Facilities are well-maintained, and the entire environment truly makes it feel like a premium family vacation destination. Highly recommended for family bonding and leisure. There is a range of facilities that you can enjoy. Some are free some are paid. There are activities scheduled everyday. Everywhere in the resort there is an activity that you can enjoy. The resort is clean and quiet(You can really relax). Staffs are polite and well trained. Food is just average. Very good spa services. Highly recommend this place. Overall this is a good value place for money. For a resort, prices are very reasonable.
