This is a classic hotel, well located, full service (though a little slow at times) and it was very busy when we were there at Chinese New Year. The staff are friendly and helpful. This room was small but comfortable. Breakfast is fabulous but be careful of the queues (as well as when checking in and out). The gym is well stocked and the pool area is pleasant although the pool is a little small. The food is good all round. It is conveniently located next to the giant malls of Makati where there is plenty to eat and shop! I enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The lobby is lovely.

We recently stayed for one night at The Bellevue Hotel and had a mixed experience.
Check-in wasn’t very smooth. We encountered a minor issue where an adult needed to be present in each room before check-in, which caused a delay since one adult in our group was arriving later. Because of this, the kids couldn’t check in right away. Thankfully, we were still able to access our second room without much issue.
I had specifically requested adjacent rooms during booking, but we were assigned rooms in different towers. While they weren’t extremely far apart or on different floors, it was still inconvenient and not what we expected.
The Main Wing Deluxe room felt quite small for what’s advertised as a 5-star hotel. Additionally, the staff were not particularly accommodating, which impacted the overall experience. We also noticed what appeared to be bed bugs, which was quite concerning.
On a more positive note, the breakfast buffet was enjoyable with a wide variety of choices, and the pool area was nice and relaxing.
Overall, while there were some highlights, the issues we encountered—especially with room assignments, service, and cleanliness—made the stay less satisfying than expected.

Pros: nice architecture , nice SPA & service, free mini bar (cup noodle & Pringle chips, coke and pineapple juice)
Cons:
- super slow reception (bad line management), smells really bad since it’s a casino and alot of random people walk in and out and smoke.
- NO OUTSIDE FOOD or FOOD DELIVERY!!! that’s actually absurd, since as an tourist, I want to enjoy local food in the comfort of my own home/room, and that is not allowed.. really crazy.
- NOBE restaurant is also extremely overpriced and bad, we got the omakase.. and the presentation was horrible.. food was so so average..
- The pool is only open till 8pm, you don’t really have much time to enjoy it since during the day time it’s so damn humid and hot outside, realistically you will start using the pool around 6 pm ish when it’s least hot
- loud noisy room, you can hear the loud train, traffics, airplane noise outside, combined with the room next door.. it’s so loud , I am honestly shocked by how bad the sound proofing is

The Peninsula Manila, a hotel with over 50 years of history, boasts an excellent location in the heart of Makati, just a 20-minute drive from the airport. It's surrounded by numerous shopping malls, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel lobby is grand and currently has a strong Christmas atmosphere. Both the rooms and bathrooms are spacious, though the facilities are a bit dated, they are still clean and tidy. The staff are all very warm and polite; they readily approved my request for a late check-out. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and tastes great. The outdoor swimming pool has a beautiful environment. It truly lives up to its reputation as a classic five-star hotel, and my stay was excellent.
Unexpectedly gorgeous room upgrade! I was initially placed in an incredibly noisy room with zero soundproofing. I could hear everything – the AC, doors slamming outside, and people talking in the hallway. After a grueling day of travel (I missed my Bohol flight because I messed up my stock trading!), all I wanted was a quiet place near the airport to sleep. I even specifically requested a quiet room in my booking notes. Yet, I was kept up until past 2 AM by all the noise. I was so upset I almost cried. Thankfully, the front desk immediately upgraded me to this amazing room! It's absolutely perfect. The room is huge, and I can actually close the door and enjoy real peace and quiet. I ended up sleeping until the afternoon, I didn't want to get up! 💓 Thank you for this wonderful experience.

The hotel's cleanliness was absolutely top-notch; both the room and bathroom gleamed. The environment was as peaceful as a paradise, ensuring a deep and undisturbed sleep at night, with excellent soundproofing. Although it's in Metro Manila, its location in the new Alabang district means it's quite a distance from traditional tourist areas like SM and Greenbelt. This makes it more suitable for business travelers or those on a long-term stay, rather than short-term sightseers.
An absolute 10/10 experience! The hotel is stunningly modern and sleek. The highlight for me was the breakfast buffet—an incredible spread with so many fresh options. Everything was seamless from start to finish. I can't wait to come back!

We stayed at Nuwa for 3D2N , the experience was great except for the last breakfast day, we went their at around 10am for the buffet breakfast which was located at Hyatt Regency , on the first breakfast day, all went well, no long line, food was good, service was fast, unfortunately on the second day of breakfast service was very bad due high volume of guest who are waiting in line, and the employee who is in charge in the line keep saying that the breakfast will end at exactly 11am, without giving alternative options where can other guest take their breakfast. COD hotels shares one breakfast buffet area (if you want buffet style breakfast) which was in Hyatt Regency Hotel. Good thing I remembered that we could eat breakfast at one of Nuwa's restaurant. But staying at Nuwa's Hotel was a great experience.

Five-star service: From checking in to checking out, from interacting with the concierge to the hotel staff, we were always treated with a warm smile, courteous service, and anticipation of the next need.
The breakfast was just out of this world. It has the best selection of food from all over.
My family and I loved our stay at the Fairmont Makati.
The room was clean and tidy, and it was very quiet at night. It was a bit inconvenient that bottled water wasn't provided in the room. There's a jellyfish bar and a smoking area on the rooftop, which is lovely for a drink and some fresh air in the evening. Plus, there's a Lanzhou La Mian noodle restaurant downstairs, so grabbing a bite to eat is easy.

Amazing
GGuest UserI had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the basic amenities I needed. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The location was also convenient, close to SM MOA and restaurants. The only thing that I didn't like was the size of the pool, it quite small and a bit shallow (4ft) from the usual 5ft pools, but the overall hotel service was efficient. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.
GGuest UserThe room was spacious, and the security check at the entrance was quite strict. The bed was also large. Downstairs, there's a casino, and outside the hotel, there are supermarkets and a McDonald's nearby. It's less than a 10-minute taxi ride to the airport, which is very convenient. The beaches in the Philippines are truly amazing; I've visited many times and will likely come again.
GGuest UserChecked in for a few nights as a solo staycation and really love this property. The room is very well spaced and incredibly cozy. Lobby always seemed organized and absolutely everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Philippine weather has also been at its hottest ever but the air conditioning inside is very reliable. Dying to arrange another staycation here again soonest.

GGuest UserThe room is incredibly spacious, and the hotel itself is very luxurious. It's directly connected to Newport Mall, which is fantastic because you don't even need to go outside to access it. Newport Mall has a ton of entertainment, dining options, and even a casino. It's very upscale, the most premium mall in the Philippines.

RRed VillaruelWe stayed at The Manila Hotel as a couple with one infant and had a very positive experience. The staff were extremely accommodating and attentive, the facilities felt grand and culturally rich rather than modern, and the location is central, great for nearby parks but challenging due to Manila traffic. The highlight was the breakfast, which was outstanding and easily the best complimentary hotel breakfast I’ve had.
GGuest UserI had an exceptional stay at Discovery Primea in Makati. The service was consistently warm, attentive, and professional, making me feel genuinely cared for throughout my visit. Every staff member went above and beyond to anticipate needs and create a welcoming atmosphere. The dining experience was equally impressive—each dish was thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, and presented with elegance. From breakfast to dinner, the quality and variety of the food were truly outstanding. This combination of excellent hospitality and memorable cuisine makes Discovery Primea a standout choice in Manila.
