Overall the hotel was good. Checkin was really fast and welcoming, and the receptionist was really friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and all needed is there. Breakfast was tasty and various, special thanks for having pastel de nata:) Only minus for me was a noise from the railway: I’m a light sleeper, so had to use earplugs. But looking positively, I was able to see the sunrise:)

Such friendly and helpful staff in a beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities. Loved the spa and rooftop pool and sitting at the bar for an evening cocktail. The breakfast is worth it with so many delightful choices. Brilliant location in Lisbon close to shopping, parks, and to sightseeing. Very easy to get around by taxi or uber. Will definitely be back!

After a two-night stay, I was so impressed by the excellent value for money that I extended my booking for another two nights. This is a five-star hotel with impeccable service. The front desk staff were incredibly responsive, answering all our questions in great detail, for which I'm very grateful. The hotel boasts an elegant, clean environment, attentive service, and convenient transportation. The breakfast spread is extensive, and the egg tarts are particularly delicious. There are shopping malls nearby, and it's not far from attractions like Freedom Square. With a metro station close by, getting around is a breeze. Highly recommend staying here.

Excellent hotel a block from the main street. There is its own paid underground parking. The hotel is not the newest, but you can feel the class of service, luxurious breakfasts, wonderful staff, large room. There is a gym and an indoor (transparent roof) swimming pool with a jacuzzi. The main attractions can be reached on foot or by metro. We definitely recommend it before visiting the city or for a business trip (there were a lot of obviously business travelers, even too formally dressed people from all over Europe, and some kind of cozy conferences were taking place in business enterprises).

It was a beautiful hotel with a very historic feel. Considering that it is a 5-star hotel, there were a few points of concern, but I am glad that I was able to stay here:) [Wonderful points] This hotel is located next to Rossio Station and about a 12-minute walk from Commerce Square, making it a great location. From the moment I entered the entrance, I was excited by the heavy interior that gave off a sense of history. What particularly impressed me was the breakfast we had in the wonderful venue. There was a wide variety of food, so I was able to enjoy my meal every day without getting bored. Also, when we finished our meal and were about to leave the venue, one of the female staff realized that we were Japanese and greeted us in Japanese, which was a very heartwarming moment. If you are staying here, I highly recommend applying for a plan that includes breakfast. [Concerns] Around 9 p.m., there was no doorman on duty, which concerned me about security. I never made eye contact with the front desk staff, and I felt that the environment where outsiders could easily enter and exit was a bit dangerous. In addition, the walls of the rooms are thin, so you need to speak in a low voice. Please note that you will need to be mindful of your voice volume during your stay, so this may not be suitable for families with small children. Even with all of this in mind, my experience at Avenida Palace was wonderful. I am glad that I was able to stay here on my first visit to Lisbon. Thank you so much for your hospitality :)

Beautiful hotel with good size room for Europe. A bit far from the middle of everything (Avenida Liberdade and downtown area) but only a 7€ uber ride.  Hotel itself is nice but the hallways are so dark-for the ambiance I guess. Breakfast buffet features Portuguese selection and has quite a bit of choices. Staff was super helpful and friendly.

On Lisbon's largest Avenida da Liberdade, the subway is just 20 meters from the hotel entrance. The surrounding area is convenient for shopping and dining. There is a delicious seafood restaurant not far from the hotel. It is best to make a reservation, otherwise the queue will be long. I found that it’s the same as Haidilao in China. If it’s a customer’s birthday, a group of fat uncles will help sing Happy Birthday, which is a very special feeling. The hotel is luxuriously decorated. The front desk and the luggage guy are very enthusiastic. The hotel provides free drinking water, which can be refilled. Every day, there are nut chocolates at the evening party. I am very satisfied with the hotel and recommend staying here.

The perfect base for a Lisbon trip, captivating in every way from service to cuisine! Choosing to stay at the newly opened Andaz hotel was the best decision I made for this Lisbon trip! From the excellent location and attentive service to the rave-worthy dining, the entire journey was filled with surprises and fond memories. First, let's talk about the service. From the moment I stepped through the door, every staff member displayed warm and professional Portuguese hospitality. Check-in wasn't done standing at a high-pressure counter; instead, I was comfortably seated on a sofa, sipping a glass of Port wine or sparkling water offered by the staff. The entire process was elegant and unhurried. At the front desk, the team members were not only incredibly warm and friendly but also meticulously attentive to guests' needs and conversation details. They'd proactively remember your soccer scores or where you traveled from, chatting with you like old friends, making you truly feel 'seen' rather than just another booking number being processed. Throughout my stay, inquiries about sightseeing and restaurant recommendations were answered patiently and thoroughly. The whole atmosphere was welcoming and professional. The entire hotel was also exceptionally clean and comfortable. After all, it's a brand new property officially opened on March 11, 2026, so all the hardware and linens were maintained at the most reassuring level. Staying in such a spotless space in the historic Baixa district, from every corner of the guest room to the iconic public spaces within the building, maintained incredibly high standards of cleanliness, making for an immensely comfortable stay. The ambiance was definitely a highlight of this stay. The hotel is housed in a former ancient bank building, now cleverly renovated, with artful blends of old and new evident everywhere. The guest room design incorporates numerous iconic Portuguese elements, such as cork decor, mosaic tiles, and mahogany, giving it a grand yet locally soulful feel. What was most impressive was that the rooms were equipped with Byredo bath products, a 55-inch high-tech TV, and immersive art installations, while the bathrooms were covered in natural stone reddish-brown tiles, revealing thoughtful touches everywhere. The hotel itself is located in the heart of Baixa, near the famous Augusta Street and Praça do Comércio. Pushing open the window, you can gaze at the Tagus River and São Jorge Castle in the distance. Strolling through the cobblestone alleys every day was an immersive cultural experience. Next, I must enthusiastically praise the breakfast. Dining at the Luzzi rooftop restaurant every morning was a true pleasure – the breakfast selection was incredibly diverse, offering buffet, American, or continental options. The quality of the freshly sliced Iberian ham, fresh fruits, and various local Portuguese pastries available at the buffet was exceptionally high! From traditional Portuguese egg tarts to freshly squeezed juices, every bite felt invigorating. Starting the day by enjoying a sumptuous breakfast with the gentle morning sun on the rooftop, overlooking Praça do Comércio and the Tagus River, was simply wonderful! Finally, I want to talk separately about dinner. The hotel's new Portuguese cuisine blends world flavors left behind by the country's centuries of Age of Discoveries. We specifically tried their seafood paella; the rice absorbed the essence of seafood and broth, with an authentic and rich texture that was not greasy at all, completely overturning our stereotype of mediocre hotel dining. Besides the paella, the menu also featured high-quality dishes like freshly caught fish wrapped in banana leaves and local octopus salad, perfect for pairing with local Portuguese Vinho Verde wine. Coupled with the live music at the rooftop bar and the panoramic city night view, the entire dining experience was incredibly romantic and memorable. In summary, if you're looking for a hotel in Lisbon that is impeccable from the check-in experience to the dining quality, and truly allows you to feel the local pulse and luxurious flair, Andaz Lisbon is an absolute excellent choice not to be missed!

My mum and I booked this hotel for a 3 day trip in Lisbon through Trip.com. We came right out of the train station and into the lobby which was great and convenient as opposed to having to carry our bags through the city. We were pleasantly surprised by hotels overall luxury feel and the room had a great view over the river. The staff were polite and friendly and held our bags for us prior to check in and after check out. They even popped them up to our room for us too. Public transport was easy and accessible there is a lot in walking distance too.

DDill ChenThe hotel is clean and meets standards of Iberostar hotels if you’ve been to other ones, with pleasant scents in the lobby. Used the gym but it was small, with necessary equipments so was okay. Didn’t try spa but you’d have 1 hour free access if book in advance. Service was relatively low-levelled throughout the stay. First night of arrival, there weren’t sleepers in the room and surprised that slippers at the reception were out of stock. Second morning I was made to wait in front of the restaurant to have breakfast, with loads of available tables inside, which were not cleaned up on time. The staff didn’t maintain the queue in a good way, the line was cut in by two groups of guests, and there was even one group going straight into the restaurant, with the staff not noticing this or explaining to us. No caring was shown verbally for our waiting outside of the restaurant. Third morning was told that there’s no breakfast booked with the room, but it turned out that the staff put wrong room numbers on the system when checking. The staff guided us to a table without cutleries prepared. Reception staff were friendly yet not showing the best quality of service if the hotel is 5-star. Response time could be shortened. Restaurant service was terrible given the above. No apologies made for the situations mentioned.

김유리You can walk to most of Lisbon's major tourist attractions, and the cleanliness and condition of the accommodation are both excellent. However, the rooftop bar breakfast was one of the main reasons for choosing this accommodation, but the white staff was extremely rude and unfriendly. They seemed to ignore me even though I didn't speak English well. There were many other staff members, but they didn't act like that and were friendly.

Ssusan ᐝAfter Sintra was ”abused” and went to Lisbon to rest, this hotel proved to be a good choice. The location is excellent, there are many shops and restaurants around, and it is very convenient to walk to the river and arco Augusta. The room is spacious, the various additional services provided by the hotel are superb, and I feel like I am back to the domestic hotel, such as drinking water and snacks in the lobby. The hotel also provides free breakfast to the room! The gym on the first floor is also a feature, and the surrounding environment is a Roman ruin! Special thanks to Mr. Nuno from the concierge for quickly arranging a comfortable car for me and a professional driver to safely deliver me to the concierge when I left the hotel to go to the concierge for the day I was forced to give up the pre-booked uber (the driver asked to cancel the order to pay in cash), Also very warmly recommended to me the restaurant he took his family to. In short, the four-night stay was very good and the hotel service was in place.

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have stayed in this hotel. The time difference between the first time and the first time is quite long, because the time difference is only eight days. When I came back, the room was smaller and I had to stay on the 1st floor. The attitude was average and the sanitary products in the room were often forgotten to be updated. I stayed there for five days and had to ask every day if I had forgotten to change the sanitary equipment. Because I often forget to ask for a taxi before I leave, there is no helper to take my luggage to the taxi. I will not stay in this hotel again next time!

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, the reception, hygiene and services are all very good, except that the room is slightly small. It's very convenient to go out and walk around. There is French Veal downstairs, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. The dessert shop in the hotel is also delicious, not too sweet, and is worth a try. Breakfast is a la carte and very rich. Staying for two days can save a lot of money.
