Seashells Phu Quoc Hotel & Spa
4.5/5902 Reviews
The hotel, which is around 10 years old, is located on a very narrow sandy beach and the adjacent swimming pool is completely overcrowded with loungers. Relaxation looks different, absolutely no privacy and children screaming and jumping into the water. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet restaurant is also completely overcrowded. This 5-star hotel can only be recommended to a limited extent. Apart from the bedroom and the spa area, this hotel definitely offers no opportunity for rest and relaxation. The friendly staff speaks and understands English very poorly. The hotel would be well advised to either take in far fewer guests or to carry out major expansion work. The price-performance ratio is only satisfactory.

We booked a 2 bedroom unit and it comes with a dining area, living area, 2 bathrooms and even a kitchen space ( no cutleries tho). Unit was also well equipped with a coffee machine. Breakfast was great and had a lot of variety and staff were also polite and attentive. There was even a small Christmas party while we were there and all guests were invited to join the mini buffet. In room dining was expensive but there wasn't a need to really order from them as there is a night market opposite the hotel which has very good food options. The best part was the pool area - massive pool and it leads you to the sea! It's a private beach and really a good view ! I will definitely be coming back to this hotel if I head to Phu Quoc again !

I visited here for the second time. Although the transportation is uncomfortable, I wanted to relax in a spacious villa in a quiet area. In particular, the staff were friendly, and they seem to be carefully selected, educated, and treated. In particular, the desk staff was friendly, and it was easy to communicate in English. (Many of the five-star hotels in Phu Quoc have difficulty in communicating with desk staff in English) This is not a fancy and noisy place. Rather, it is a place of quiet peace that is practical and classy. Everything is going accordingly. There are not many types of dishes at breakfast, but the quality is good. Both of the spa and restaurant service are cost-effective. The beach and pool are small but practical, cozy, elagant, and well managed. The resort buildings and interiors are also small and old, but I could feel the soul of the architect.

The service is very good. I sent an email to the hotel about half a month before check-in to confirm check-in and make an appointment for airport transfer, but I never received a reply. I was very worried that I could not check in. The front desk was very enthusiastic when checking in. They carefully confirmed the airport transfer time and the location of the breakfast restaurant with me. The concierge sent my luggage to the room and explained the switches for electricity and water in the room and the difference between free and paid. The front desk guy also gave me a New Year red envelope. Who knows on the first day of the Chinese New Year! So happy The resort is very big, but it is very convenient to call the concierge car, which is almost available at any time. Their service attitude is also very good, especially good to talk. After returning from Pearl Paradise, the room card could not open the door. The driver who met on the roadside was very enthusiastic to help me solve it. In addition, you don’t need to make an appointment for the windy seaside restaurant when staying here. Their dinner restaurant is also very beautiful, but I forgot to find the front desk to make an appointment for the seaside location. I went a little late and could only envy it. There was also the dessert I ordered. After taking away the plate, it was not served until I paid the bill...

The resort has a very large pool and a private beach, both very nice. However, it takes sometime to look for a free sun lounger. The wide selection of the buffet breakfast is definitely a plus. The room was in good condition, except there is serious leaking from the shower. The bathroom floor was half wet after shower.
Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort - Managed by Accor

I traveled to Bãi Khem, Phu Quoc in February and liked it so much that I visited again after 3 weeks. I was a bit concerned about Premier Village because I thought it was a just calm resort better suited for large families rather than couples. But in conclusion, it was a very fun and active resort. The moment I entered the beachfront pool villa, which is located 1 minute away from the swing bar and the boat dock that runs free of charge from the resort's private beach to Sunset Town, I was amazed by the refreshing sea view. The private pool was clean and spacious, and the rooms on the second floor were in excellent condition. It was good. Even though both the 1st and 2nd floors have large ceilings, the air conditioner was strong enough to make it cold. It was convenient to have a refrigerator as well as ice in the freezer and a water purifier. What was great was that I could install the app using a QR code and immediately convey my requests through a chat service, so buggy and water bus reservations and room service were all convenient. In particular, the pretty and kind Butler ‘Mong Tuyen’ was very helpful as she helped me with many things. (I was having trouble working because I left out my laptop cable accessory, but she even found an electronics store on Phu Quoc Island where I could buy a connection cable~) Corallo Restaurant didn't have much on the menu, but every single one of them was delicious. The best moment was having beer and a Wagyu burger at Swing Bar, boarding a boat reserved for 8pm at the dock right next door, arriving at Sunset Town in the pleasant night breeze, watching the fireworks, and returning. It was so fantastic that there was an accommodation 1 minute away from the dock where we arrived by boat after playing to our heart's content. The eastern sea has clear water, lots of cute fish, and a wide sea where you can ride a paddle boat. The King's Well, which is steeped in legend, is actually a place where the sea and a sacred freshwater well are connected. It was nice to come here and get a lot of energy. We plan to visit again!

It was our first time travelling to PQC Island and we had total 4 families. 4 Adults and 4 kids and we booked 3 bedrooms villa which had 2 king size beds and 2 twins beds with private pool. The villa was very beautiful especially the unique interior design with private pool . It was pretty clean until we saw a big bugs dying on the floor. We were fine about it which it didnt bother us much. And we still loved it. We paid around HK4000 per night for 2 nights which had included 8 breakfast buffet style. The hotel provided free shuttle bus to pick us up from the airport. But one thing I couldnt understand was the water bottle provided in the villa. The hotel only gave us 6 free bottles everyday. If you request extra water, they had to charge you with unreasonable price. We had 8 ppl in the villa but they only gave u 6. I have stayed at other countries hotel with free water bottles refill but Wyndham needs to charge me for that which I really cant understand as water in Vietnam is so cheap. I was so shocked when I heard about it and I complained it to the front desk. At the end, they did give me 4 more bottles of water without charging me. One more thing I didnt like the most was the breakfast. Although they had many varieties, the quality of food was pretty bad and it didnt look good at all. It really turned down my appetite. The only food I can really eat was the hard boil eggs without eating the egg yolk and the black olives. For the prices I had paid, i think the hotel really needed to improve the food quality as it did look disgusting to me.

Excellent hotel, we stayed here for 3 weeks and liked almost everything. We will most likely return here more than once. To make it even better, you can work on the following points: 1) Periodically clean the fan blades in bedrooms and air conditioner grilles. Very dusty!!! 2) Check and change mattress covers, mine was all yellow with an odor, took it off and put it away in the closet. Perhaps the large mattress itself was no longer fresh. The smell of urine was in all the bedrooms! 3) Availability of small teaspoons at breakfast. My wife had a problem feeding her one-year-old child without them. 4) Increase the number of sun loungers on the beach. 5) For guests with a late transfer to the airport (like ours at 18:00), make a late check out from the room. As a result, from 12 to 18 we are forced to walk somewhere with two children, 5 years old and 1 year old. The baby was left without a nap and is capricious(((This moment caused us the greatest annoyance. If it’s so expensive, make late check out chargeable! But you can’t refuse guests relatively harshly in broken English!

If we compare this to resort; the price only differs around 2 dollars for their sea view room, but I think the breakfast and service quality greatly differs. The view from the residence sea view studio is amazing, I liked it more than the resort. On the other hand, service, cleanness, and breakfast are a lot better in the resort. The resort sea view room comes with a capsule coffee machine and has small details such as beach tote bags and umbrellas. Also, the study desk is more convenient, and the room is a little bigger. Gym is also on this side. The residence comes with a kitchen, no capsule machine, no cutlery, nothing in the kitchen. The sink makes the room smelly. The room generally was smelly. The sheets never smelt fresh for all 3 days, even though I saw them changing the sheets. I don't think they cleaned the bathtub because the insect in the picture was there for all 3 days, even if the house keeping kept cleaning. The breakfast area is a lot smaller than the resort. Also, the breakfast selection is not as wide as the resort. For example, the resort had gluten-free options and baristas to make different types of coffee. If you prefer having a good view and a sink, go to the residence. If you need convenience, go to the resort. Also, there was a BBQ option for Saturdays. I found it quite overpriced. The menu selection was very limited, even less than breakfast. We asked for mangos, but they didn't have it. The fruits included were all the cheap ones. Only one type of beer was included, and it was not from the refrigerator. I think bbq was my worst experience in the whole movenpick resort residence experience.
