Pros: + close to Haikou Meilan Airport + free shuttle bus to the airport (booking needed) + free laundry amenities + hotel breakfast (at Orange Hotel next door) + helpful staff who do try their best to work with what they have Cons: - severely understaffed (only 1 person working at the counter, no bellhops) so check-in was slow in large groups - ageing facilities - sad gym area that doubles as sauna from the heat - in-hotel restaurant and cafe was closed - no aircon in lobby and most spaces - greenhouse effect from glass and heat made everywhere stuffy during daytime - dusty aircon in room, needs servicing protip: as it is scorching in Haikou, please request an extra aircon card from them when you check-in, so you can keep the aircon working to cool the room while you are away. you get what you paid for, but it works!

It's about a 10-minute drive from Terminal 2. The minibus was a bit small, which was inconvenient for guests with a lot of luggage. The ground floor is quite spacious, and the front desk staff were nice. The room was surprisingly good, exceeding my expectations and larger than I thought. The facilities are excellent. Breakfast was very substantial, with both Western and Chinese options. Overall experience was good! 👍

We had a fantastic 4-night stay at this beautiful new hotel in Haikou. The property is modern, well-maintained, and offers excellent facilities that made our family vacation very enjoyable. What truly made our stay memorable was the exceptional service from Brandon. As it was our family's first time visiting Haikou, Brandon went above and beyond to provide us with valuable local recommendations, helpful travel tips, and advice on places to visit and dine. His knowledge, patience, and genuine willingness to help made navigating the city much easier and enhanced our overall experience. The warm hospitality and personalized service we received made us feel truly welcomed throughout our stay. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Brandon for making our first trip to Haikou such a wonderful one. Facilities: The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the rooms have private balconies with direct sea views. The hotel is divided into sections A and B. Rooms come with free sand-digging tools for children. Cleanliness: The room was very clean, not a speck of dust. The duvet and pillows had been changed. Environment: The hotel is really close to the beach, and the swimming pool is also on the way to the beach. You can get free swim rings at the pool. Service: Upon entering the hotel lobby, staff greeted us and helped with our luggage. Since we arrived early, we checked our luggage at the front desk first, then went out for a meal, and checked in upon our return. Check-in was very quick. Breakfast: The breakfast spread was excellent, especially the Western options. This is likely due to the large number of international guests.

This is a really comfortable hotel. Every time I visit Haikou, I make sure to stay here for a night. The main reason is their amazing 830-meter deep hot spring directly in the rooms – a soak there just melts away all the fatigue. The rooms are spacious and bright. Plus, the hotel is very close to the Qilou Old Street, just a short taxi ride (minimum fare). There's even an airport shuttle nearby. It's truly great.

We had a truly wonderful 3-night stay at Park Plaza (LiTing), Wenchang, Hainan. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and professional, making us feel immediately welcome and well taken care of. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with thoughtful amenities that made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the quiet environment, which allowed us to rest well after our daily outings. The hotel facilities were well-maintained, and everything was conveniently arranged. The location is also a great advantage—peaceful yet accessible, making it easy for us to explore Wenchang without hassle. What truly stood out was the excellent service from the staff. They were always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with any request, which made a big difference to our overall experience. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wenchang. We would definitely return again in the future!

=) the washer & dryer is superb! They can notify you through wechat when ur clothes are done and which drum is available for washing. Clothes smell fresh after washed. Location of hotel is great, very near to popular malls and not far from places of interest. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful and I appreciate that the staff upgraded 3 rooms. =( If you are a smoker, this will not be a problem for you. My room had very strong smoke odour. The reception brought up the air purifier for us which I appreciate the gesture. However, the smell is still lingering. So I requested to change room. Imagine the inconvenience of unpack and pack up to change the room. Anyway, the new room was nice but the air was still. Probably the room wasnt occupied for quite some time? The bed was shifted all the way to the left, so my mate who slept on the right has to get down to access the switch. Interesting right?! Feedback to the hotel and the housekeeper shifted back to the center. This hotel is smoke free hotel. The hotel staff cannot do anything to the guests who smoke in the room!! This is terrible for us. The cleaning is not consistent too, some days my cups are washed, other days are not. No hooks for you to hang your clothes when you shower. The rooms i booked on trip.com doesnt include breakfast During last night, I enquire about the breakfast and realised breakfast are included for my stay!! You see, no one tell us about this when checking in.

An unexpectedly stunning seaview B&B! 😎 The service was excellent, very accommodating and helpful. They offered water upon arrival, and the room's AC was already on, making it wonderfully cool. Cleanliness-wise, it seemed quite clean, no major issues. The environment was incredibly serene and therapeutic. The balcony offered an unobstructed sea view; you could open the doors completely and gaze directly at the ocean. Even from bed, you could enjoy the sea view, despite the hot and sunny weather. The B&B has a beautiful common swimming pool that guests can use. The open-plan lobby on the first floor is super photogenic and a great spot to relax and watch the sea. There's a laundry room on the top floor with two washing machines (no dryer), but laundry detergent is provided. There are also facilities for hanging clothes, and given the hot summer sun, clothes hung at night were dry by the next morning. A slight inconvenience is that the seaside town where the B&B is located is not accessible by car. If you're driving, you'll need to park in a designated parking lot (40 per day max), walk a few minutes to the tourist shuttle pick-up point, and then take the shuttle to the hotel. This was the only somewhat troublesome part. I booked the Azure Open Terrace Seaview King Room on the fifth floor, which has an elevator. The room's AC was powerful and kept it very cool, and the shower water pressure was decent. The Laifen hairdryer was a great touch. Check-in is at 2 PM and check-out at 12 PM. Since it wasn't a holiday, there weren't many people. During the off-season, it was only around 500-600, which is excellent value for money.

Got a free upgrade which was fabulous! Xiaochen helped us out a lot, she even let us keep our room (which is larger than what we book) when we ask for an extended day. Room is more than enough for 3 girls. All requests were catered shortly after we raise them with reception. Breakfast was ok but with price given, this stay is very worth-it! Location-wise, very near Nanya Mall and Haiwang Mall, you can have a short walk to all amenities and food you looking for. Qilou Old Street took us 10 mins by taxi. Love the stay and the staff, definitely will book for next trip to Haikou.

My recent trip to Haikou led me to stay at the Hampton by Hilton Haikou Guomao, and my entire experience far exceeded expectations – it absolutely deserves a perfect score! The hotel is strategically located on Longkun North Road, right in the heart of the Guomao commercial district, offering an unbeatable location. It's close to Century Bridge, and just a short walk from major malls like Friendship Sunshine City. The area is also brimming with local specialty restaurants, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. Within a ten-minute drive, you can reach Wulv Park and Qilou Old Street, and getting to Cloud Cave Library and Haikou Museum is also very smooth. For an independent traveler like me, this significantly cut down on commute time, highlighting its excellent transportation advantage. The hotel's overall design is modern, simple, and elegant. The HUB multi-functional lobby is spacious and tidy, featuring both a casual meeting area and self-service office equipment, perfect for quick work tasks or a short break. Sissie at the front desk was incredibly warm and attentive. Check-in and check-out were efficient and quick, and she answered all my travel-related questions throughout the process, even thoughtfully offering cold drinks and cookies – truly showcasing attention to detail. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with large floor-to-ceiling windows providing ample natural light. Despite being in a bustling commercial area, it's surprisingly quiet, and the soundproofing is excellent. Rooms are equipped with branded Serta mattresses and high-quality bedding, offering just the right balance of softness and firmness for a truly restful sleep after a long day. The bathroom area was spotlessly clean, the Moen fixtures provided stable water pressure and abundant hot water, and the accompanying skincare and bath products were of excellent quality, making for a great experience. The hotel's amenities are comprehensive. The 24-hour gym has new and complete equipment, meeting daily workout needs, and the self-service laundry room with both washers and dryers is especially practical for long-term travelers. The high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel is stable, ensuring no lag whether you're working or streaming. The ergonomic chairs also greatly enhanced the comfort of my stay. Overall hygiene control is strict; guest room corners and public areas are meticulously cleaned, with no hidden spots. Whether for a business trip or a leisure vacation, this Hampton by Hilton is an excellent choice in Haikou city. I will definitely prioritize booking here again on my next visit to Haikou and highly recommend it to friends traveling to 'Coconut City'.
