BEST STAY EVER! Long review, but a meaningful one. Hotel & Facilities: I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. The location is excellent, only about a 5-minute walk from the main entrance of the Longmen Grottoes, plus all the shopping and food area. There is also a nearby bridge where I enjoyed beautiful views of the grottoes without entering the site! The receptionist Mengmeng upgraded my room to a suite free of charge, which made my stay even more memorable, since it was a special occasion! She was super helpful and kind through my stay. Housekeeping was outstanding. My room was cleaned every day and maintained to a high standard. The breakfast buffet had a variety of dishes and enough choices to keep breakfast interesting throughout my stay, I ate like a queen, besides the restaurant area is super peaceful. As a Spanish girl who does not speak good Chinese, I relied on translation apps, and the staff were always patient, welcoming, and eager to help. Exceptional Staff Support After I Sprained My Ankle: During my visit to the Longmen Grottoes, I unfortunately sprained my ankle. The level of care I received from the hotel staff was exceptional and was one of the main reasons I decided to extend my stay by an extra night. The receptionist Dan Dan and the driver Zhang Hong went above and beyond to help me the night I sprained my ankle. Ma Dan Dan was my main contact point. She regularly checked on me, provided ice for my ankle and even helped me do my laundry! She came up and down to my room several times to bring me everything I needed. I am very grateful for her time and care. The driver Changwang took me to the nearest health centre and he was super patient and talkative, which was nice. Special mention to one staff member called Wang Bing, she was working during the breakfast the day after I sprained my ankle and she was incredibly helpful, lovely and attentive, she even gave me a medicine for mosquito bites! Everyone treated me with kindness and professionalism. I believe mentioning their names is relevant, due to my particular situation, they deserve the recognition. As a solo woman travelling and getting injured far away from home, their support meant a great deal to me. Overall: Whether you are a domestic or international traveller, I highly recommend this hotel. The combination of beautiful facilities, an excellent location, outstanding cleanliness and nd caring staff made this one of the most memorable experiences I have had in my years of travelling. Let me start with the basics. I've only visited Xin County twice, coincidentally both times in the same hotel and the same room. Opening the window, I was greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view of the Huanghe River! A stroll along the riverbank, with a gentle spring breeze, was a rare and delightful experience! A small bridge leads to Xin County Square, the heart of the county! After a busy day, you can drive along the Xihe River to experience its serene beauty and tranquil atmosphere, or cycle through the former capital of the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Soviet Area to pay homage to its heroes and reconnect with your roots!

The Qichi Suite at Puyang Baiwei Mansion was an amazing experience! I was immediately impressed by the high-quality facilities upon entering the room. The smart voice control throughout the room was incredibly convenient; one-touch operation of lights and curtains was effortless. The large-screen smart TV even allowed for screen mirroring, making it perfect for relaxing and watching shows. The bathroom featured a separate shower and toilet, a smart toilet, and high-end toiletries, ensuring a superior washing experience. The furniture in the room was of excellent quality, and the mini-bar thoughtfully provided coffee and tea. All the facilities were complete and impeccably maintained, making for a very comfortable stay. The front desk service was also impeccable. Check-in was efficient and attentive, with staff who were consistently polite and welcoming. They meticulously explained how to use all the suite's facilities and proactively informed me about the hotel's fitness center, laundry, and other services. They patiently answered all my questions, making for a perfect experience. As expected of a high-quality hotel in Puyang, the Qichi Suite was a perfect fit in terms of both facilities and service. I'll definitely choose Baiwei Mansion again next time I'm in Puyang!

I am incredibly particular about room hygiene, but this property managed to exceed every single expectation. The room was immaculately clean, completely dust-free, and smelled wonderfully fresh from the second I walked through the door. The attention to detail was obvious in every corner, from the sparkling bathroom to the pristine floors. Beyond the cleanliness, the room was a masterclass in comfort. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, featuring an ultra-plush mattress, high-quality crisp linens, and pillows that provided the perfect amount of support. Coupled with quiet, efficient climate control and excellent soundproofing, it provided a truly restful sanctuary. What elevates this hotel from great to extraordinary, however, is its incredible team. The staff here understand the true definition of hospitality, greeting every single interaction with a genuine smile and unmatched warmth. Throughout my stay, the entire team was professional, efficient, and eager to help. They did not just fulfill standard requests; they anticipated my needs and went completely above and beyond to ensure I felt valued and comfortable. You can truly tell that the staff care about the guest experience, and their flawless manners made a massive impression. If you are looking for a hotel that combines uncompromising cleanliness, luxurious comfort, and heartwarming hospitality, look no further. Open the window and gaze upon a thousand years of history, with the Luo River flowing right outside. This B&B is nestled inside Lijing Gate, a traditional courtyard of green bricks and grey tiles, offering an authentic Luoyang experience. The room was clean and elegant. The owner's hand-drawn tourist map was thoughtful and incredibly useful, and they even gifted us peony cakes as a souvenir. After exploring Shizi Street at night, I returned to the terrace to enjoy a cup of tea, watching the ancient city lights twinkle. It felt as if I was living in history itself. The location is superb, convenient for visiting Longmen Grottoes and White Horse Temple. It's not a cold hotel, but a warm home. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I had a very satisfying stay here, and it was excellent value for money. The location is superb; Gulou (Drum Tower) is right across the street, and it's incredibly convenient for shopping and visiting the ancient city. The subway station is also close by. I booked a room with a mahjong/card room because I wanted a king-sized bed, and since it was too hot to go out during the day, we spent our time indoors – it even saved us the cost of renting a mahjong room elsewhere. The butler service was also very attentive and responsive to all our requests. The entire guesthouse offers a quiet escape in a bustling area, and it's quite spacious. The decor perfectly embodies a traditional Chinese aesthetic.

I booked this hotel for a layover. The shuttle service to and from the airport was quite good. The hygiene standards, for Zhengzhou, were actually pretty high, though I generally feel that hygiene in Zhengzhou isn't the best overall. The complimentary late-night snack service was a great perk. It's definitely a highlight of the hotel, offering some main dishes, side dishes, and fruits. The quality was surprisingly good, on par with what you'd find in a regular restaurant. However, it was really annoying to see some inconsiderate large family groups, especially from certain regions that emphasize clan culture, treating the free late-night snack bar like their private family reunion venue. As soon as a fresh batch was put out, they'd practically try to take the whole tray. The hotel has banquet rooms, which probably explains why the late-night snacks are so good. But instead of using proper venues for their banquets, they choose to act like barbarians at the free snack bar. It's truly shameless. To be honest, this issue has little to do with the hotel itself and is purely down to individual behavior. Still, the hotel could consider implementing stricter management in this area.

The overall experience at this hotel was excellent. As a foreigner in China the staff was both welcoming and accommodating. Small details such as daily evening snacks or fruits delivered to the room we a nice touch and the on-site restaurant was priced reasonably. The hotel also featured elements which fit the theme of the location not just a name. A small display of Shaolin weapons, and a full cultural experience center including meditation, tea, and calligraphy.

## Facilities Generally very good. The only minor point is that the hotel uses central air conditioning, which often doesn't cool the room as much as individual units, typically maintaining around 22°C, and can sometimes feel a bit stuffy. However, the hotel's maintenance staff responded quickly, and after they cleared it, the room did feel noticeably cooler. ## Hygiene The room was immaculately clean and tidy. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job. ## Environment The hotel boasts a fantastic location, right at the subway entrance, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. ## Service The service was truly excellent. Any issues we had were promptly addressed by the front desk. A special mention goes to the complimentary drop-off service to Zhengzhou East High-Speed Rail Station on our last day, which was a very thoughtful touch and much appreciated. My only very minor suggestion would be to improve the consistency or quality control of the welcome fruit. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Zhengzhou.

The location is great, walkable to both the old railway station and long distance bus station. Tons of local restaurants and stores are right downstairs. The room is very clean and decorated with a modern style, equipped with a big TV. The breakfast included is typical with many choices, and some local specialty food like beef soup, hula soup. Although located in the downtown area, the hotel is actually pretty quiet inside. We also like the roof garden very much. It has a live bamboo wall and a couple of pavilions, excellent for resting and light exercises.
