CChrisChen1029The L'Occitane en Provence hotel is located on the 11th and 12th floors of The Parisian Macao building. Our room, 1216, offered a view of the East Asian Games Dome, with about two-thirds of the Eiffel Tower visible from the window. The stay included breakfast for two days. On the first day, we chose the Ice Room, and while there were many options, the food quality wasn't great. On the second day, we went to Angelina, which offers a Western-style breakfast that I personally preferred.
The hotel's location is a bit out of the way. There aren't many public transport options directly outside the hotel, with only the T435 'Skating Road / The Parisian Macao' bus route available. It's about a 700-800 meter walk to the nearest Light Rapid Transit (LRT) station.
GGuest UserExcellent location, right next to the famous Galaxy. Easy access to entertainment and shopping, with the Asian Food Court nearby for meals. The Grand Emperor is a historic hotel, and its cleanliness and service are commendable. The prices are affordable, and transportation is convenient.
AAnonymous UserWe have a good experience...my family spent the good relaxation..while in macau.casa real hotel give us the quality of good hotel.we Will come back again
GGuest UserMacau 🇲🇴 has always been a place I've yearned to visit since I was a child. To my younger self, it was a mystery, somewhere I never imagined I'd go. As I grew older, learning about it from different angles sparked my curiosity. Today, I finally gathered the courage to step into Macau, and it's truly captivating. The Grand Lisboa Palace Hotel 🏨 provided excellent service. The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful to visitors from the mainland, always ready to answer any questions. I'd definitely go back to Macau if I get the chance!
MMoerdexiaotangguoI had a truly fantastic stay! I usually stay in Taipa, but this time I chose Harbourview Hotel since I was visiting the Grand Prix Museum the next day, and I was pleasantly surprised. Huge thanks to the hotel for upgrading me to a suite – the room was incredibly spacious, and most importantly, it was spotless and well-maintained. I'll definitely book here again on my next trip to Macau. It's super convenient; you can take the Sands shuttle and just cross the road, or use public transport as there's a bus stop right opposite the hotel. There are water dispensers in the hallway, though only cold water, which was perfectly fine.
AAnonymous UserThis time, I made a last-minute booking at Holiday Inn Macau. During check-in, Mr. Wang at the front desk was professional and efficient. After understanding my situation, he proactively upgraded me to an executive floor suite. He wasn't overtly enthusiastic, but his attention to detail made me feel genuinely valued.
It happened to be the fourth day of the ***** New Year, and in the morning, the hotel had a lion dance and a 'God of Wealth' performance. The atmosphere was lively but not chaotic – a nice, ceremonial touch. The executive floor was relatively quiet, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay overall.
What truly left an impression on me was what happened afterward. After checking out, I realized I had left my ring in the room, which naturally made me anxious. Upon contacting the hotel, the housekeeping manager quickly helped confirm its location and retrieve it. The entire communication process was efficient, and the sense of reassurance brought by such professionalism was more important than any physical amenity.
CContanceBooked a three-night stay at the Grand Emperor Hotel in Macau starting on the seventh day of the ***** New Year. This hotel has been around for almost 20 years, but the room facilities are still relatively new and clean. It's super convenient to walk to popular spots like the Ruins of St. Paul's, Grand Lisboa Hotel, Wynn Macau, and MGM. A one-day city walk around the peninsula is definitely enough time. We even went to eat at Parlament Noodle Shop, which was just over 1km away. The hotel staff were also warm and attentive; even though it was fully booked the day we arrived, the service wasn't chaotic or slow at all.
**Transportation TIPS🪶➰** After arriving at Macau Airport, you can take the shuttle bus to Grand Lisboa Palace Hotel. Then, transfer at the hotel's B1 level to a shuttle bus going to Grand Lisboa Hotel. From there, it's just a few minutes' walk to the Grand Emperor Hotel. (For those traveling with seniors, children, or a lot of luggage, I recommend taking a taxi to avoid hassle and exhaustion.)
JJieyuStayed one night at the Pousada de Coloane, a charming Portuguese-style building.
The small beach below has clearer water than Hac Sa Beach, though the sand isn't as fine. Perhaps due to the limitations of the original architecture and renovation costs, the decor isn't particularly refined. However, the new wall tiles immediately catch your eye.
Every room faces the sea and has a balcony with an excellent view.
Pousada de Coloane is a historic hotel steeped in Portuguese charm, with roots tracing back to the 1930s.
Origins: The hotel was originally a private estate built in the 1930s.
Official Opening: The estate was formally converted into a hotel and began operations in 1977, and was managed by the same family for over 25 years.
Architectural Style: The hotel's architecture retains traditional Portuguese elements like arched doorways, azulejo tiles, vintage furniture, and decorative ceramic plates on the walls, creating an antique and peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle.
Sswing2The hotel's location is great, not far from the city rail, making transportation convenient. It's in a residential area with supermarkets and chain restaurants nearby, and there's also a restaurant in the hotel building offering a buffet. However, the hotel's amenities are old and outdated; for example, the hairdryer button was missing, and the TV is a small 24-inch model with no smart features or casting options. Given the price, I can't complain too much.
The only major downside, as others have mentioned, is the terrible soundproofing. I could hear people walking upstairs past midnight, the sound of water running from the next room, and every person walking by and door closing in the hallway. It made for a very poor night's sleep. Overall, you get what you pay for. But the good location and friendly staff are still worth praising.
LLvxingshuoThis hotel has a charming European retro style, complete with Portuguese-inspired tiles and vintage telephones.
The room layout is a bit compact, but it's very clean.
The location is fantastic, right next to major attractions. There's a Guandi Temple downstairs and the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau across the street. It's a 10-minute walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's, Na Tcha Temple, Macau Museum, and Mount Fortress, and about a 20-minute walk to Grand Lisboa Hotel and other spots.
The service was friendly.
I really appreciated the complimentary mini-bar (one per stay) with free snacks and drinks. A special highlight was enjoying the night view from the rooftop with a free drink – it was incredibly romantic and truly wonderful!
