Lisboeta Macau-Maison L’OCCITANE

My stay at The Parisian Macao L'Occitane themed hotel was fantastic! The vintage Portuguese ambiance was captivating, and the public areas were exquisitely designed, perfect for photos at every turn. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with comfortable bedding and complete amenities. The hotel has an integrated shopping street and multiple restaurants, making it very convenient. It's only a few minutes by taxi to The Venetian Macao's Cotai Arena. The staff were polite and efficient during check-in. Its proximity to the Hengqin Port makes it super convenient for returning after a concert. The only minor drawback is that the shops in the mall close quite early. Overall, the value for money is excellent, and it's a great choice for catching a show in Macau. I'd definitely consider staying here again.

This hotel definitely has a retro vibe, like something from the 90s. You get what you pay for, after all; the opulent Galaxy is right across the street, but it's double the price. It's about a six-stop light rail ride from the airport to Pai Kok station. From there, you enter Galaxy Entertainment, walk through the lobby, cross the road, and you're there. Getting to the East Asian Games Dome is super convenient, just four stops away! The room is fully carpeted, but thankfully there's no weird smell – it's very clean. The bathroom has a tub, but the showerhead is built into the wall, which is a bit awkward. However, the water pressure is excellent, more than making up for that minor flaw. It's a shame the gym hours are only 10 AM to 6 PM, which isn't ideal for early birds. I ended up going for a morning run instead. To my surprise, a quick left turn led me to the Taipa waterfront, where I could enjoy the scenery while breaking a sweat. My biggest complaint is the breakfast; I honestly don't recommend it. There's hardly anything to eat, but maybe my expectations are just too high. You're better off going to Tsui Wah at Galaxy across the street for their breakfast set, which costs 60 MOP. The cleaning staff were excellent; they brought me bottled water several times without any fuss. Overall, it's a hotel with good value for money!

The hotel is within walking distance of the Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, which takes around 15–20 minutes even with luggage. There’s also a nearby public bus stop that provides convenient access to the Cotai area. The housekeeping staff were friendly as well. Overall, the stay was good, although the design feels a bit old-school. The in-house casino has also ceased operations since November 2025.

I visit Macau 2-3 times a year, so a price hike during the summer weekend was expected. This time, I chose The Londoner Macao for our family of three, specifically for the 1.4m twin beds, which allowed us to sleep comfortably without feeling cramped. The room's cleanliness and overall environment were good, and the window overlooked the stadium. The front desk staff were all warm and welcoming, contradicting some reviews about poor service. The room was well-equipped with amenities sufficient for daily use, and there was even a self-service vending machine on our floor, which was quite convenient! The best part is that despite The Londoner Macao's slightly off-the-beaten-path location, there's a shopping mall right downstairs, catering to all our daily needs for food, clothing, and entertainment. There's also a 24-hour cha chaan teng (Hong Kong-style diner), and registering as a Londoner Macao member gives you an 15% discount. The hotel also provided two discount coupons for Wynn Palace, with free shuttle bus service to Wynn Palace and Grand Lisboa Palace. The coupons included a priority ride on the cable car once, which was perfect for watching the musical fountain show in the evening. There was also a shopping and dining discount card for the mall, which really made up for the location. It's clear that The Londoner Macao's management is very thoughtful and genuinely cares about its guests.👍🏻👍🏻 Previously, staying in the Parisian area meant large shopping centers, but during peak season, it could get uncomfortably crowded. The Londoner Macao, however, is quieter and less crowded, making for a more comfortable and leisurely trip. The hotel is a 7-8 minute walk from the East Asian Games Dome Light Rail Station, and getting to Cunha Street (Taipa Pier Station) is also more affordable than taking a taxi. Personally, I think it's a very cost-effective choice for a family of three or four. Next time, I want to try the L'Occitane room and the LINE FRIENDS themed room, as I believe the weekday prices will be even more attractive. In short: Of course, more expensive hotels will offer a different experience – you get what you pay for. But for our family's habit and experience of visiting Macau for a few days every year, The Londoner Macao is a good value-for-money option. If guests have higher demands, then I'd recommend choosing a more expensive hotel. 😉😉

First time staying at this hotel! I'd passed by it before and thought it looked nice, so I took the opportunity to experience it this time! As soon as we entered the lobby, the front desk staff at check-in were very enthusiastic! They even upgraded our room! We were so touched! The room was great and very quiet! The sea view was private yet open. We originally booked without breakfast, but my family suggested we eat breakfast before heading back, so we bought two breakfast buffets at the lobby service desk. There were so many food choices, and the taste was excellent! A really good experience 👍 Hope to come again next time ☺️

I found this hotel to be very old and run down; besides the location, everything else was surprisingly bad. I won't be staying here again. The room had a strange odor when I entered, and I suspect it was from previous Indian guests. The bathroom also smelled terrible, and the overall hygiene was very poor. After sleeping on the sheets, my body kept itching. When I checked out, I realized I had forgotten my facial cleanser in the bathroom, but when I contacted the hotel, they claimed they didn't find it, even though it was clearly there. I will never patronize this brand again; this hotel completely ruined its reputation for me.

Facilities: Standard. Cleanliness: Okay, but the water was a bit cloudy, probably due to renovations. Environment: Good. Service: Most of the female staff, from the hotel to the restaurants, were quite nice and helpful, which I really appreciated and commend. However, the male staff and Macau drivers generally seemed less enthusiastic about serving us (mainland Chinese visitors??). They provided the service, but it was far from ”attentive.” To be honest, I'm not naming names or posting photos, so there's no need to be upset. As consumers, perhaps it's better to keep our distance from unhappy people for better luck and prosperity. So, when checking in, I'd suggest asking the female staff at the front desk to assist you. Location: Convenient. Within walking distance to attractions like the Senado Square, Ruins of St. Paul's, Macau Tower, and A-Ma Temple. The hotel has a tea restaurant, and outside the hotel, it's just a short walk to various shopping malls and food courts. If you're on a family trip, you might not need to book hotel breakfast, as dining out is very convenient and delicious. I booked a month in advance for 750+, which was decent value for money. However, on the night of check-in, I had dinner at the Harvest Terrace Portuguese Restaurant, and the Ascott's rate for that day was only 900, so perhaps there's no need to book so far in advance next time. Wish everyone a pleasant trip and a prosperous year!

The hotel is located on a slope, so getting up and down is very steep and would be quite difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The bus stop is close to the hotel, but again, the climb is challenging. The room was spacious, and I was pleased to find an iron and ironing board. The hotel has a cozy, Portuguese style. There's a small pool, which the kids enjoyed. Breakfast was modest, with coffee in a thermos, but you won't go hungry. We walked to the sea to swim but decided against going in. The water was very murky, and there were dead fish floating around. Only a couple of Chinese tourists were on the beach. Housekeeping was very poor; all the towels and bedding should be replaced. Everything was old and worn out, and the duvet covers were synthetic. There was mold in the bathroom. And the icing on the cake – a huge, 5cm cockroach ran in and scared the children.

Pretty good! The price on Saturday was around 900 yuan, which is a very reasonable price for peak season. For the same price in HK, you'd only get a 10-square-meter room, so this is excellent. My only regret is that they didn't proactively inform me about the free airport shuttle when I checked in. A taxi here showed 51 on Gaode Maps, but I actually paid 69. Everything else was great!

The pillows, though advertised as coming in both hard and soft options (as shown in the picture), were too high. My 6-year-old completely abandoned their pillow in the middle of the night and just slept without one. When I asked, I was told there were no lower options available. The toothbrushes had a very unique texture. We were supposed to get a free cocktail for following their public account, but because of a typhoon, the rooftop bar was closed, so we didn't get it. The staff member said it was a complimentary offer, so if it wasn't available, it just wasn't available – they seemed quite inflexible when issues arose. Also, the twin beds were only 1 meter wide, which is really too small. That night was a Saturday, so for various reasons, the price of 1700 RMB was quite expensive.
