I recently stayed at The Hidden House and overall had a pleasant experience, with a few areas for improvement.
The interior design and decoration are a real highlight—stylish and thoughtfully done, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The staff at check-in were able to speak English, which made the process much smoother. Breakfast is also excellent value at around £2.80 per person, offering a good variety of options.
The room itself was spacious and well-equipped with useful amenities. One of the standout features is the incredible view of Anshun Bridge, which is truly hard to beat, especially at night.
However, there were a few downsides. The balcony was smaller than expected, and some parts of the room felt a little dated and could benefit from renovation. The hotel layout is also quite unusual—it appears to be located within a residential building, with rooms only on the 3rd, 13th, and 14th floors.
Security could be improved. While key card access is required for the 13th floor, the 14th floor is accessible without restriction, which didn’t feel entirely safe.
Additionally, despite informing the hotel of our arrival time (14:30) and the official check-in time being 14:00, our room was not ready upon arrival. We had to wait an extra hour, and the lack of apology or urgency from staff was disappointing.
Overall, a stylish and well-located hotel with great views and value, but with some service and security issues that could be improved.

Has an oxygen machine in the hotel room. Good service with the concierge too. Responds even in the middle of the night for an emergency and goes out of her way to help us without much complaints. Very helpful and certainly makes the hotel stay much more enjoyable.one of the newest hotels on the summit too. Very good view to

The Dujiangyan Center International Hotel is incredibly convenient. It's just a few dozen meters from the train station, and you can enjoy free hot spring access and complimentary tea on the 19th floor, which offers stunning views. However, the rooms are a bit small and not very quiet. There's singing in the plaza downstairs late at night, making it hard to get a good rest. On the positive side, the rooms are clean, and it's very easy to get to tourist attractions as the bus stop is just a short walk away.

I chose this highly-rated hotel for a relaxing few days in Leshan over the Qingming holiday. It's super convenient, just a 10-minute walk from Leshan Station.
Everything from check-in to check-out was excellent. The front desk staff were really enthusiastic; they even added me on WeChat and sent tons of great travel and food recommendations. The room's garden is built on a large terrace, and the small courtyard is so peaceful and comfortable. The room itself was clean, tidy, and very smart-tech enabled.
My entire stay in Leshan was incredibly comfortable, filled with beautiful sights and delicious food. Everyone I met was so gentle and laid-back. I hear the airport is opening soon, so I'll definitely be back for more relaxing getaways!

i am giving this hotel in Chengdu a full 10 out of 10. staying here felt more like visiting dear friends than a regular hotel. they really go out of their way to think about how to make your stay perfect. a big thank you to the manager, Xiao Zhou. communication was super easy through WeChat. she replied instantly and helped with so much care.
the room is incredibly cozy and stylish with a lovely wooden floor and furniture. i liked the mix of modern and traditional design. my favorite part was the raised wooden platform by the window with a traditional armchair. they also set out a nice tea set with panda tea packets which was a very thoughtful touch. i even had my own private gravel courtyard patio. it was like a quiet little garden oasis.
the location is amazing. it takes just a 5 minute easy walk to get to Tianfu Square.
the level of hospitality here is simply incredible. for example, when Xiao Zhou found out i had to leave very early for business, she surprised me and sent a cute robot to my room with a bag of snacks and fruits for my trip!
this level of care is very rare. highly recommend staying here. i will definitely be back.
The room was spacious, even with three 26-inch suitcases laid out, there was still plenty of room. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, which was very convenient. The hotel is very close to the ticket office for Bipenggou Scenic Area, making its location super convenient. My girlfriend experienced altitude sickness, but thankfully, the front desk in the lobby offered oxygen. After about half an hour, she felt noticeably better—much more effective than canned oxygen. All the staff were very kind, and I hope this level of service continues. We'll definitely be back in the summer.

The hotel is located on the 15th floor, in the same building of the Ibis Hotel. You’ll see the signs inside directing you to go in the elevator to floor 15.
The hotel lobby is very stylish and we received a warm welcome.
I highly recommend international guests to download WeChat as the staff can communicate easily this way.
The room was spotless. Lovely robes to use. Bottled water daily.
We had the 180 room and it was great. Such a unique experience. The bed was huge and the herbal pillow was amazing.
We had free fresh coffee prepared and offered every morning. And a Nespresso machine in the room.
The television has no English speaking channels, does my screencast or accept vpn, so it may be an idea to download some programmes/ films to your iPad / phone.
We only had one full day in Chengdu and the staff helped us choose the best places to visit. (Our visit was short due to us changing flights because of the Middle East conflict)
We had free coffee offered every morning. And a Nespresso machine in the room.
DiDi easily found the hotel. Metro 18 is only every hour but we found more regular trains to airport from east Chengdu station. Was less that 40 mins from panda base at 0730am.
If we come back to Chengdu we will definitely stay here.

The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient to get around. The hotel is near Chunxi Road, which is where you'll find the subway and shuttle buses to various attractions. The hotel breakfast is quite varied. Although my room faced the street, it was still relatively quiet. The service was also decent. However, the blackout curtains could be improved; sunlight easily seeped through the gaps in the morning. The single room isn't huge, but it offers good value for money. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

This hotel is perfectly situated between Dongdajie Food Street and Zhanggongqiao Food Street. The location is fantastic, and it's super convenient for getting around. As soon as you arrive in Leshan, you can drop off your luggage and head out to eat and explore. Coming back to relax in the hot tub is just divine! The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the amenities were quite smart. The service was exceptional; they even sent us recommendations for food and attractions beforehand! Highly, highly recommend.

The hotel's location is great, making it convenient to get to Chunxi Road/Tai Koo Li, Wuhou Temple, and other attractions. On the street behind the hotel, there are snack shops and hot pot restaurants. A bit further, about 200 meters away, the 'Platinum City' offers a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. The hotel rooms are a bit dated in their decor, and the soundproofing is a bit poor. However, the hotel service deserves praise; the butler proactively asks about guests' needs and promptly fulfills them, which is very thoughtful.

GGuest UserThis is a brand new hotel, and the facilities are super new and amazing! It's the 5.0 new version of Vienna hotels, so the room design is grand, and it even has smart voice control. You can just say a command to turn on/off the lights or open/close the curtains, which is incredibly convenient. The smart toilet and constant-temperature, fast-heating shower are also very comfortable to use. The hotel also offers a free laundry room and gym, and if you're driving, parking is free too. The best part is being able to check out late until 2 PM, so you can rest a bit longer if you're tired from sightseeing, no need to rush at all. The quality is top-notch, and the price is affordable. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserI don’t usually leave reviews, but this hotel truly impressed me. I had requested an early check-in due to our early flight, and not only was that accommodated, but we were also upgraded to a family room.
The service was outstanding. The room featured voice command controls, and the hotel even uses a robot to deliver food directly to your door, which was a unique and convenient touch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always quick to respond to our needs.
We couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and I would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit.

LLalala,This hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's a three-minute walk from the subway station, surrounded by bubble tea shops and convenience stores, making it super easy to grab a bite at night. The room, though not large, is cleverly designed; the full-length mirror makes the space feel bigger. The bedding is made of brushed fabric, which feels wonderfully warm in winter. The bathroom has excellent wet/dry separation, and the heated intelligent toilet seat is a thoughtful touch. Hot water comes on in ten seconds, and the water pressure is so strong it feels like a massage!
The breakfast selection isn't huge but it's refined. The freshly made egg pancakes with crispy fried dough sticks are incredibly fragrant, and the coffee is freshly ground. The auntie was very diligent about refilling the congee. The front desk lady was very efficient; check-in was done in 30 seconds, and she even proactively gave me a map of nearby attractions. The soundproofing is great too; I barely heard any noise from next door. The value for money is exceptional; I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town.

GGuest UserI was really satisfied with my stay here and would highly recommend it overall. It's very close to Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, and the Science Museum – all within walking distance. If you don't feel like walking, it's just a two or three-minute bike ride away. Across the street, there's a 24-hour convenience store and pharmacy. In the evenings, there are plenty of 'Bo Bo Chicken' (skewers in chili oil) and BBQ stalls. I also enjoyed the pulled ice cream afternoon tea in the lobby on the first floor. They even offered a late check-out, which was helpful, and gave a small panda souvenir. I've already recommended it to my friends, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chengdu. Highly, highly recommend – I love this hotel!
GGuest UserThis hotel left a deep impression on me. The service was meticulous, and I especially appreciated the alcohol-based sanitizers provided, which made me feel very secure. Although there seemed to be a minor issue with the fresh air system, the overall environment was still comfortable. The room was clean and well-equipped, completely meeting my needs. I will choose this hotel again next time and look forward to an even more perfect experience once the fresh air system is improved. It's also very convenient to get to other places, including Kuanzhai Alley.

MM2ek7m4k0****The hotel service was excellent! Breakfast was included, and they proactively offered airport/station pick-up and drop-off services. When we checked in, the front desk staff went out of their way to suggest various travel strategies for Mount Emei. The driver, who might have been the owner, even chatted with us about Mount Emei's culture, Buddhist culture, and other tourism resources in Sichuan, which was very interesting. There's also a lovely, chubby cat named Coco at the guesthouse who is incredibly friendly. She purrs as soon as you pet her and even meows gently outside your door, knowing which room you're in, and loves to cuddle and roll around. Overall, the entire trip felt very thoughtful and personalized.

GGuest UserThis guesthouse is truly a hidden gem! It looks exactly like the pictures, even more stunning in person. The hygiene is spotless, facilities are complete, the environment is quiet, and the location is also very convenient. The host is super nice and provides excellent service. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay, highly recommended!
My stay exceeded expectations! The room was clean and tidy, with great natural light and ventilation. The decor is simple yet elegant, making for a very relaxing stay. The service was attentive, and the value for money is outstanding. It's one of the most satisfying guesthouses I've ever stayed in, five-star rating!

AAbigail WebbIt was okay. Would not book again. Unfortunately, this was one of our worse stays in China during our month long travel. There was an unfortunate plumbing issue (that they had no control over, totally understandable) but they moved us to a different room not listed with not as good of a view. And after asking and having to personally message the boss via WeChat received a 10% discount. The room was not very clean. Leftover tissues and hair in corners from the pervious person. The walls were thin enough to hear the neighbors. And we arrived to breakfast 30minutes after it started and there was very little left. I would be more gracious but this was also the most expensive place we stayed at. Did not meet my standards and would not stay here again.
