The hotel offered free parking which is great but was a bit difficult to find the parking entrance due to the constructions going on around the hotel. Location was nice, in the city center and peaceful nearby. The buffet breakfast was amazing, a variety of choices from western cuisine to local cuisine. The room was clean and neat as well.

My stay at FX Hotel Tainan completely redefined my expectations for a budget hotel! The location is absolutely superb – Chihkan Tower and Guohua Street Food District are just a 10-minute walk away, and the Shennong Street cultural and creative area is also within easy reach. Just a left turn downstairs and you'll find a 7-Eleven; to the right, there are famous Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice) and beef soup restaurants. For late-night cravings, heading straight to Bao'an Road Night Market was pure bliss! ✨
The mattress had just the right firmness, and the bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area.
🚗 Transportation is incredibly convenient too! It's only an 8-minute drive from Tainan Railway Station.
Overall, it's perfect for budget-conscious travelers who still value quality. For your Tainan trip, you definitely can't go wrong staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at Royal Fine Hotel in Kaohsiung City. The location is great — just about a 400m walk from the train station, which made getting around really convenient. The reception staff were incredibly nice and attentive, and we loved the free snacks and drinks available in the welcoming area. There’s even a laundry room on Level 2, which was super helpful.
Our room was clean and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary snacks waiting for us. The shower was spacious, and the water pressure was amazing.
We’re sorry we don’t have hotel photos to share, but here are some pictures of the city instead. We truly enjoyed our stay every night!

We arrived at the hotel and were warmly welcomed by the staff, who directed us to park in the underground garage. Check-in was quick and easy, and the room was clean and spacious enough. Bed was comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, close to Chiayi’s main sights, although there isn’t much to do immediately around the hotel itself.

Hotel is in a very convenient location. It was clean and the rooms were comfortable. Service staff was helpful. The lightning in the room was single controlled so if you have twin sharing, one switch turned on lights in the room for everyone. Would be nice to be able to control lights for one side of the room ( i.e. the reading light etc..]
.
Positives:
1. Staff are nice.
2. Provided 4 bottles of water and snacks.
Negatives:
1. The bathroom doesn't have a power socket making it really inconvenient as we have to dry our hair in the room.
2. The pillows are too soft and lacks structure for support.
3. Asking for an extra quilt requires a payment, which is 100 dollars.
4. They don't provide basic amenities like toothpaste or toothbrushes. But the booking platform does not specify this, making it extremely inconvenient for guests .
5. The walking distance from here to taichung station takes more than 10 minutes.
6. They have a breakfast round at 9am (there are two rounds), but when we got to the dining area, most the food was gone and they did not even add extra food. The quality of food was disappointing, and not made to a good standard.

Choosing hotels for my Taiwan trip took nearly a week because I can be quite picky about accommodations. ILLUME turned out to be the perfect choice, meeting all my priorities.
From the moment I dropped off my luggage in the elegant lobby, I felt welcomed. The staff was friendly and even accommodated my request for an early check-in, allowing me to settle in two hours ahead of the standard 4 PM check-in time.
I was assigned a room next to the sauna and steam room, which I appreciated for its convenience. However, there were some noises in the evening from nearby banquet events and guests doing laundry, but as someone who tends to stay up late, it didn't bother me at all.
The gym is shared and well-equipped, typically not crowded except during peak hours when fitness classes draw in more guests. My room was clean and received daily housekeeping, although there were a couple of times when the cups weren't cleaned. I understand they might have thought I was still using them, so no complaints there.
It’s also worth noting that there’s a 7-11 convenience store just downstairs, connected directly to the hotel lobby, where they sell Taiwan's famous branded cakes like 太陽餅 and 鳳梨蘇. Plus, there are numerous buses nearby, making transportation super convenient—I didn’t even need to rely on the subway!
I really enjoyed the air conditioning—it was cool enough for a comfortable night’s sleep. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and will definitely return without hesitation!

Hotel room was clean and cozy with daily housekeeping services. Staff were very helpful and friendly. check-in was a breeze but there’s no priority for amazzing club stars members even though there was a signage indicated at reception. Breakfast spread was great and there’s a playroom at level 5. There is coin laundry available but the dryer was pretty weak, my clothes remained damped after a 90 mins cycle (paid ntd10 per 10 mins). Hotel is beside shin kong Mitsukoshi so it’s really convenient.

My 2nd experience within 3 months with Holiday Inn in different country. Hotel shower, washroom, bed and work desk were well arranged. Water dispenser, coffee and microwave placed at the great area for comfortable sitting and chatting. Hotel for staying guests are able to to use the self laundry and dryer at a cost within Hotel. Good spread of breakfast and it situated near the GanCheng, main bus terminal and there are many travel buses services around the area.

AAnonymous UserGreat place to stay! Very IG worthy and is near eating places and amenities.
Only issue (which is quite uncomfortable at times) is the central temperature control - the whole hotel is set at 19-22 degrees even in cold weather - I cannot adjust the room temperature and have to intermittently turn off the air conditioning. On the big plus side is the breakfast. Amazing and definitely worth it!

Every staff member is working hard to protect his or her position.
Provide every guest with very high-quality service attitude! Highly recommended!
Originally we thought there was only a small floor area, but after the staff introduced it, we followed their route and walked around. We really felt that this trip was worthwhile!
The 24-hour campus shuttle service provides barrier-free service for those who are pregnant or have mobility impairments.
We brought our dog with us, and there was a rest area for the dog, which needed to be paid for by the dog.
Overall, it is a highly recommended hot spring accommodation!
TTony@ChanReview of N Hotel Taipei
Pros
N Hotel Taipei is very well-situated, offering convenient access to the NTU Hospital MRT Station, which makes traveling around the city straightforward. Its proximity to 228 Peace Memorial Park further enhances the location, providing both accessibility and a pleasant environment. Despite being in the city center, the surrounding area is relatively quiet, making it a suitable choice for guests seeking both convenience and tranquility.
Cons
The overall service quality at the front desk could be improved. During interactions, staff members appeared to lack the warmth and welcoming demeanor typically expected in the hospitality industry. Enhancing staff training in guest relations and hospitality would significantly elevate the overall guest experience.
CChangkongguyan#1For a hotel in Taiwan, the exterior is quite impressive, and the rooms are very large and spacious. They are fully equipped. However, the toilet is quite old, and the flush pressure is so weak that it often doesn't flush properly. Public transport access from the hotel is very convenient, with direct buses to the High-Speed Rail (HSR) station. There are also many local eateries nearby. For under 400 RMB in Taiwan, staying at this hotel offers excellent value for money.
台台灣娜娜The room was fully equipped with smart features, and although some of the devices were a bit clunky, it still made for a fantastic experience. The sound system was great, and the room itself was large and comfortable! The communal activity area even had a waterslide! While it was on the smaller side, even I, a 'big kid' at 168cm, had a blast on it. The ground-floor terrace pool was huge and wonderful, offering plenty of Instagrammable seating. There was even a separate smaller pool area! It's absolutely perfect for a family getaway with children, and the soundproofing is excellent, so you never have to worry about disturbing anyone. The in-room hot spring was superb! The tub was so spacious it felt like it could easily accommodate five people. The only minor downside was the bed, which was quite firm. However, for those who prefer a firm mattress, it's a major plus and a refreshing change from hotels that only feature soft beds.

QQy1234Good stay for one night, simple hotel but has bathtub. Lift and corridor are rather stuffy. From taoyuan AirPort Express station take exit 6 is easiest with elevator (read past reviews and tried this route). Y21 exit is stairs only and linked to the underground mall which has demon slayer exhibition. Breakfast set is from Fuhang, receptionist will call you when delivered and go down to collect. Salted soya is not to my taste. Fried dough is oily but nice.
JJoBro27Pros
- Super Convenient across a traffic crossing Is XiMenDing Night Market and street for food, souvenirs , local snacks and some shopping.
- Very Grand Looking Building and Lobby looks newly renovated and the wallpaper and design of the rooms looks nice overall.
- The location is like close to many attractions for example it takes only 3-4 stops of bus/metro can bring you to places like diff night markets Raohe, Ningxia , Dongmen Market, Nanmen Market or Zhongshan station.
Cons
Cleanliness/Hygiene is the biggest concern
- Seen many bad reviews but chose to stay as I have limited choices as I book 1 week before stay and due to the location I have to take into consideration staying with my parents.
- Dirty/mushy carpets on the corridor of the rooms looked stained.
- Leaking Shower Heads hose with black/stained rubber seals on the shower head water outlet
- Sofa that makes u itchy and the quvet/bedsheet of the bed was making u itch
- Slept first night with itch on my family room with 2 queen bed and my bed was the one which itched, day 2 morning put on the green sign label on my bed to request for change of bedsheet and come back at night after a long day found it to be the same as my quvet I saw mini blood stain on it was exactly the same immediately I called the receptionist for a change of bedsheet and the room maker says quvet would only be changed upon request at the reception.
- Upon sleeping there for at least 3 nights I realise
that they sometimes don’t change your towels or bedsheet but instead they would just rearrange instead even if u put on the change of bedsheet signboard.
- Fridge was small but sufficient but it was so loose and light weight n shaky if u open with slightly stronger force it will drop out of the shelve
- Last of all the concept of the bath tub was so bad u have to climb into the bath tub to shower which is normal at some hotel but it isn’t all cause they have a sliding glass on the bathtub to prevent water spilling over but it was not fixed to slide open wide enough it’s tight for u to climb in and it can be slippery even with the slip mat in the bathtub climbing in and out could easily be a risk of slip and fall especially with my parents they can incur even higher risk.
Credits to the Philippine Lady room maker she was very polite and helpful she does thing very fast and help to change of bedsheet even at night 10-11pm without being unglam when we encounter itch and she provided a bedsheet cloth to lay over the sofa and spray disinfectant on it to ensure comfort for us.
__WeChat55792****The hotel boasts a convenient location, with convenience stores and a station just a short walk away. Rooms are modernly designed, well-appointed, and immaculately clean. Each room even includes a coffee machine, and those on higher floors offer superb city views. You can also spot Taipei 101 from the hotel lobby.
GGuest UserStayed here for 5 nights. Everything was great, rooms were equipped with necessary amenities and lots of hanging spaces. Toilet, shower and sink are separated, which was a nice touch so you won't have to fight for it. Toilet was also equipped with a bidet (major plus!). Drinking and hot water are readily available on each floor, and the hotel also provides kettle and a jug to fill. Price is reasonable and overall it was a great stay!
