FX Hotel was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large with the toilet and shower area separated. The room was large enough to put 3 large luggages comfortably.
Pros: Close to Taoyuan Airport, with a shuttle bus every 30 minutes that gets you to the airport in about 5 minutes. There's an indoor pool, steam sauna, and a well-equipped gym. The breakfast restaurant is spacious, and some rooms offer direct views of the airport, allowing you to watch planes take off and land.
Cons: Absolutely no restaurants or convenience stores nearby. The shower area lacks a door, so water easily splashes out. The toilet isn't a bidet, and the room size is a bit small. You can hear some airplane noise from the room, and the breakfast taste is just average.

We had a wonderful stay at Royal Fine Hotel in Kaohsiung City. The location is great — just about a 400m walk from the train station, which made getting around really convenient. The reception staff were incredibly nice and attentive, and we loved the free snacks and drinks available in the welcoming area. There’s even a laundry room on Level 2, which was super helpful.
Our room was clean and comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary snacks waiting for us. The shower was spacious, and the water pressure was amazing.
We’re sorry we don’t have hotel photos to share, but here are some pictures of the city instead. We truly enjoyed our stay every night!

The hotel's location is good; it's only a few hundred meters from Formosa Boulevard Exit 11. There's a supermarket and a spicy hot pot restaurant across the street, and Liuhe Night Market is just 20 meters behind it. The location is top-notch if you're a night market enthusiast. However, the hotel facilities are very poor. The bathroom, tables, chairs, ceiling, and walls all show significant wear and tear, making it look like a countryside inn. Although the hotel entrance looks grand from the outside, it's definitely not worth the price – it's far too expensive for what you get. The breakfast quality is mediocre, but the cleaning staff and the breakfast restaurant servers were very friendly. The front desk staff, on the other hand, were very unhelpful – the kind who could easily be fired. The hotel claims to be eco-friendly and only provides two bottles of water. Even though both are 'Houshe' hotels, this one is a world apart from the Houshe hotel in Taipei. The pillows were black and dirty; I couldn't even tell what they were made of. The provided slippers were of extremely poor quality; I haven't seen such bad hotel slippers in the past ten years. We chose this hotel in Kaohsiung because we are frequent guests of Houshe Hotel in Taipei, but we regret it. We shouldn't have assumed it would be the same.

The location is very convenient — about 3 minutes from Houyi Station. The staff are very helpful. Breakfast is quite standard, mostly traditional-style dishes. The hotpot restaurant at the hotel is pretty good.

My recent stay truly exemplified the high standards and warm hospitality one expects from a five-star hotel. The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation links, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure vacations. Upon arrival, the grand and elegant lobby immediately made an impression. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, handling everything from check-in to luggage storage with professionalism and meticulous care, instantly putting me at ease.
The room's overall design was both modern and cozy, featuring a spacious and bright layout that felt incredibly well-thought-out. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, with exceptionally clean linens, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. A full range of high-quality toiletries was provided, showcasing the hotel's thoughtful attention to guest comfort. Both the soundproofing and air conditioning system were in perfect working order, allowing for complete relaxation.
The dining experience was equally impressive. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of fresh and delicious options, catering to both Western and Asian tastes, satisfying diverse guest preferences. The restaurant environment was elegant, and the staff were friendly and proactive in assisting guests, which further enhanced the dining experience.
Furthermore, the hotel's recreational facilities were top-notch. Both the gym and swimming pool were spotlessly clean and equipped with modern amenities. The staff consistently provided service with a smile, making me feel truly at home. Special mention must be made of the hotel's thoughtful little touches, such as welcome fruit and considerate weather forecast cards, which added a wonderful sense of warmth to my stay.
Overall, this is a hotel that truly lives up to its five-star rating. From its hardware facilities to service quality, and from the ambiance to the meticulous care in every detail, everything was impeccable. I will undoubtedly choose this hotel again on my next visit to the area and will enthusiastically recommend it to friends.

FX Inn Hotel in Kaohsiung offers a sense of comfort and tranquility. While the rooms are not luxurious in size, they are thoughtfully arranged—bright, clean, and well-kept.
The beds are soft yet supportive, allowing guests to wake up refreshed after a restful night. The bathroom and overall environment are equally spotless, with attention to detail that reflects genuine care.
The service is another highlight. Staff members are consistently polite, wearing warm smiles and responding promptly to requests. Whether during check-in, check-out, or handling everyday inquiries, they go about their duties with professionalism and attentiveness, creating a truly welcoming atmosphere.

Overall, the hotel is good and service from the staff is great too. Breakfast Hotel has a good spread and enjoyed the food there. Hotel is well located near the Fengjia Night Market and you can go there in 3 min but is not very near the city centre and you may need to take a bus or walk there.

Everytime we go to taiwan we always stay at this hotel as we are a family of 4. The location is about 10 mins walk to ximending thats the shopping area.
The hotel now DOES NOT give toilettries in thr bathroom. They just have the dispenser of shampoo and shower gel. So you have to bring your own toothrbush, toothpaste, shaver, vanity kit etc.
They do change your bath towels VERY PROMPTLY.
The receptionists were all fabulous! Very courteous! Very nice to talk to!
We will definitely still stay at this hotel the next time we go back to taiwan.
Happy New Year everyone!

If you're a traveler who just wants the basics done, clean room, comfy bed, hot shower, and Wi-Fi that doesn’t play hide and seek. This place is your jackpot. The location? Smack dab in the middle of everything. I stepped out and walk a bit and boom food, fun, and a pharmacy (because you never know).
Staff were friendlier than my GPS, and the check-in was faster than my morning coffee brewing. Honestly, I came for a place to crash and ended up low-key considering extending my stay just to enjoy the peaceful vibes and people-watching from the lobby.
Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I bring snacks next time? Also yes, because midnight cravings are real.

Every staff member is working hard to protect his or her position.
Provide every guest with very high-quality service attitude! Highly recommended!
Originally we thought there was only a small floor area, but after the staff introduced it, we followed their route and walked around. We really felt that this trip was worthwhile!
The 24-hour campus shuttle service provides barrier-free service for those who are pregnant or have mobility impairments.
We brought our dog with us, and there was a rest area for the dog, which needed to be paid for by the dog.
Overall, it is a highly recommended hot spring accommodation!
GGuest UserThe room was clean and the location was convenient. There are snacks and coffee available in the lobby on the 3rd floor. It's a good choice overall.
The only thing that could be improved was on my last night, someone checked into the room next door, and the sounds of video calls, music, and conversations were very loud. The two corner rooms are too close together and offer no soundproofing at all (please see the attached picture). There was even a door in my room directly connecting to the adjacent room, which, although locked, further proves the lack of sound insulation.
Since it was my last night, I didn't bother to report it to the lobby front desk.
CChangkongguyan#1For a hotel in Taiwan, the exterior is quite impressive, and the rooms are very large and spacious. They are fully equipped. However, the toilet is quite old, and the flush pressure is so weak that it often doesn't flush properly. Public transport access from the hotel is very convenient, with direct buses to the High-Speed Rail (HSR) station. There are also many local eateries nearby. For under 400 RMB in Taiwan, staying at this hotel offers excellent value for money.
台台灣娜娜The room was fully equipped with smart features, and although some of the devices were a bit clunky, it still made for a fantastic experience. The sound system was great, and the room itself was large and comfortable! The communal activity area even had a waterslide! While it was on the smaller side, even I, a 'big kid' at 168cm, had a blast on it. The ground-floor terrace pool was huge and wonderful, offering plenty of Instagrammable seating. There was even a separate smaller pool area! It's absolutely perfect for a family getaway with children, and the soundproofing is excellent, so you never have to worry about disturbing anyone. The in-room hot spring was superb! The tub was so spacious it felt like it could easily accommodate five people. The only minor downside was the bed, which was quite firm. However, for those who prefer a firm mattress, it's a major plus and a refreshing change from hotels that only feature soft beds.

SSherry Yalan ThaiAlthough it was unexpectedly that the reception desks is @3rd Floor, administrators are very welcoming and polite. My daughter loves Japan, so I purposely booked this Japanese hotel when we visited in Taipei. I like the sofa with a small table and a sliding door to divide in between the bedroom and bathroom.

GGuest UserGreat location—use Exit 6 (with elevator) to cross the nearby traffic light. The room is spacious and clean. Additionally, hotel can pre-order (must place order before 5pm) the famous Fu Hang soy milk and breakfast set, which will be delivered straight to your room next morning. Amazing! I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended.

Ww3305cI stayed at this hotel in Taipei for 3 nights. The transportation around it is incredibly convenient. Songshan Station is right downstairs, and Songshan MRT Station and Raohe Night Market are just a few minutes' walk away. It's also only a 10-minute taxi ride to Taipei 101 and the Xinyi district.
The hotel lobby is on the 17th floor. Breakfast was average, but they offered both Chinese and Western options, and the freshly made Chinese rice rolls were quite good.
I'd like to specially commend a male staff member who was working the night shift on November 27th. We requested a room change because our original room had a strong odor, and he promptly arranged a new one for us, even upgrading us to a room with a better view. He helped us with our luggage, pushing the cart, and patiently explained the situation. The room itself was spacious, and the facilities were all new and very clean, making for a comfortable stay.
The hotel service was also excellent. They offer a complimentary shuttle bus to nearby short-distance stops daily. When the driver was off, they even proactively offered to reimburse our taxi fare.
GGuest UserStayed here for 5 nights. Everything was great, rooms were equipped with necessary amenities and lots of hanging spaces. Toilet, shower and sink are separated, which was a nice touch so you won't have to fight for it. Toilet was also equipped with a bidet (major plus!). Drinking and hot water are readily available on each floor, and the hotel also provides kettle and a jug to fill. Price is reasonable and overall it was a great stay!
