I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the The Radisson San Jose hotel. Breakfast was delicious. The dinners that I had at the hotel were memorable. The front desk and dining staff were exceptional. I highly recommend the Radisson San Jose hotel.
If you're looking to explore San Jose, or have a basecamp for exploring the rest of Costa Rica, this hotel offers a great central location, situated right in the middle of San José. Good for walking to restaurants or shops in the city, or joining one of the several sight-seeing excursions which can be easily arranged by the hotel.
The rooms are nice, though the decor is a bit dated. The common areas are also well designed for lounging while reading a book or getting to know your fellow travelers staying on the same floor.
The breakfast buffet was fairly common for a hotel offering breakfast in Costa Rica, but good, and the area also doubles as a bar at night. Other amenities include a gym with free weights and a couple machines, along with two saunas, one dry and one steam.
The location is great, the main attractions and Chinatown are all within the walking area, it is very suitable to choose a city check-in for a day trip. The Gold Museum downstairs needs to be booked in advance.
It's a decent hotel with a lot of details that aren't quite right. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are excellent. The maid didn't empty the trash cans during our two-night stay, nor was the shampoo ever refilled in the dispenser in the shower. There are no carpets or rugs in the room so you're constantly walking on luxury vinyl plank flooring with wet feet. After you get out of the shower. There are no Kleenex boxes or dispensers in the room, and the TV programming was difficult to decipher, especially the secondary audio program in order to listen to the TV in English rather than Spanish. Also, the closed captioning never worked on the TV
sabana studios are a a great and econimal way to stay in the capital, the only thing is that its very hard to find its location as when I went they didn't have any signage as to where they are. Please find out exactly the location of the office before you got as I got a bit lost and took me asking someone to direct me. I had no internet at the time so I couldn't call .One of the friendly locals used his mobile to ask about the location and that's how I finally found it. all in all it was a positive experience.
The apartment is located close to a nice park for walking and relaxing.
there are some options for food but you need to check the surrounding area on a mmap before blindingly walking out hoping to find an area where restaurants are.
Very good hotel, high cost performance, convenient transportation, supermarkets and McDonald's, the hotel restaurant level is good, the price is relatively good.
King room with city view, 14 floor: 2 nights. July
* You will hear the music from the bar across the park until 3am. Not much noises from the regular city streets.
* No fresh air available in this hotel. All the windows are sealed.
* No fridge, no Netflix. But plenty of english channels on tv.
* good internet.
* excellent hot water, and water pressure.
* small gym ok, but no windows, and tv was not working.
* nice indoor pool, but water too cold for me. No windows but a clear dome.
* breakfast have ok choices, not much for a vegetarian.
* restaurant expensive like any other hotel, but the staff is sympathic.
* free parking.
* very nice staff.
* reservation with Trip.com was a complication, they didn't have my reservation. Took 1h to check-in. At the check-out they charged me the room that was already paid on Trip.com, had to ask for a refund, which they did, no arguying but a lot of explanations and proof of payment... but the staff was really polite and helpful.
* only 1 person working at the counter for check-in and check-out..
* easy to walk everywhere.
* easy to navigate with google map or waze.

MM250002****In fact, there is no 5-star standard. The appearance of the hotel and the room is good, but it is too old and the room has a smell. The breakfast is not bad, there are many choices, the swimming pool is very beautiful, the garden also has a tropical style, and the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant. It is very convenient to go to the city center by taxi. The customer service can help you call a taxi, and the price can be negotiated. Generally, it costs more than 10 dollars to go to the city center. The hotel has a free airport shuttle, but you need to make an appointment in advance. If there are many people, it is convenient to take a taxi. The hotel shuttle bus runs every hour.

GGuest UserОтличный отель, чистый. Вкусный завтрак и вежливый персонал. При выезде из отеля попросили распечатать документы и вызвать нам такси до аэропорта- нам во всем помогли. Мы очень довольны♥️♥️♥️
