Great wee overnight stay so my daughter and I could go to Aberdeen Uni's open day. Handy location just off the motorway, and a short drive into Aberdeen centre. We ate dinner at the Indian Brasserie across the road, which was very nice, and the hotel breakfast was standard fare and a reasonable choice. Would recommend the hotel for a stay out with the hustle and bustle of the city- parking right outside the door, and a park and ride facility a short drive from the hotel. Staff were helpful and pleasant, too. Checking in was straightforward, and so was check out. Would return if I needed to visit Aberdeen in the future.

My stay at The Commercial Hotel exceeded all expectations. The facilities, cleanliness and hospitality were amazing, the attention to detail five star. This alongwith the breathtaking views made my stay one which I didn't want to end! Thank you to everyone at The Commercial who made my holiday fabulous.

We spent only one night during a road trip. We did not try the food , neither the restaurant or the breakfast. We booked a large room category and we were very pleased with it. Big, comfy, well equipped with a living area. Pool area is big, with a large pool for adults, one smaller but still large for kids. Sauna and hammam. Very nice for a break. Only point we did not like so much is that many kids went to play in the big pool and staff dont say anything.

We booked our wedding here 2 1/2 years ago and just had it yesterday 07/09/24. From start to finish the staff were incredible, very polite and helpful, the wedding manager Johnathan was unbelievable minus one very funny mistake that I didn’t let him forget 😂. Put our minds at ease and him and his team made the day go without a hiccup. The rooms were amazing with my own having a river view and a patio. The food for both our wedding meal, the night before and breakfast was excellent. Over all it was an amazing venue great food great staff. Could not recommend this place enough!

I was given a gift of afternoon tea for my birthday and was looking forward to going as we used to get amazing food there. Sandwiches we could have made better at home , no salad or anything apart from tge tiniest amount of filling and it amounted to 2 slices of bread each! Although all the savoury items and cakes were home made, they were lacklustre and certainly not 4 star! We had to ask for our free glass of prosecco and since there was only one member of staff it still took some time after that! £36 for a bottle of prosecco... Won't be back

Stayed here for a weekend away in Stonehaven. On arrival check in was simple enough and got our key from a key safe and let ourselves in. We had our own parking space around the back of building. We had the ground floor beach front room. Room was spacious and clean. Same with bathroom. The water pressure and shower was amazing. Bed was comfy. Plenty to watch on tv with usual apps such as Netflix, bbc, Brit box etc. The host (David) was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was continental with cereals, toast, yogurt etc. Location was very central. Right on sea front and in town centre. Would definitely recommend and worth what we paid.

This is an incredible Lodge. We are spending 3 days here and our room is beautiful. Very very chic! The staff are super friendly. The property sits on the river last night. We had the most amazing cocktails, a negroni and a French martini. We sat on a swing for two and looked at the gorgeous River sipping our drinks before dinner. The lodge is an all-in-one package. It has everything you need. Including wonderful locally sourced food. The breakfast is included and it is scrumptious
