We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Sheila in particular is exceptionally well mannered. Old fashioned politeness. The fixtures and fittings are all of a good quality. The carpets are plush. The food is very tasty. The choice of food is very wide. Steve and Sheila are on hand throughout the day to help with enquiries. The garden is delightful. I particularly commend this establishment for having a Holy Bible in our room. Other places are less prone to let the guests decide for themselves whether or not to read this great book. All in all we are very pleased.

Location and service was excellent and the brekfast was delicious, plenty of choice. Room was really big, loads of space, king size bed which was very very comfortable and good choice of tea, coffee and water etc in room. Only thing that let it down was the dated bathroom, adequate but could do with a refurb.

Breakfast is very good. The chef orders it now: omelet, shredded cheese, vegetables, mushrooms, etc. It's great. Other kinds of bread, fresh juice coffee tea. Meat has sausages, bacon. Peach apple, cantaloupe, pineapple and other fruits, a kind of Danone fruit yoghurt. All in all, including early value
