This hotel boasts an excellent location right by Putney Bridge, making it super convenient to get around. There's a Waitrose supermarket next door and plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is quite new, with a clean and minimalist decor – not luxurious, but very comfortable. I'd give full marks to the service in the ground floor restaurant; the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and accommodating, and the food was plentiful and delicious. My only slight complaint is that the shower stall was a bit narrow. Even for someone who isn't particularly big, turning around felt quite awkward; I'd estimate it's only about 60-70 cm wide. Everything else was perfect, though! I had a wonderful three days here.

The building is old, and there's a lot of noise from the wood and stairs. You can also hear the TV next door and conversations from the street, so there's no soundproofing. I had trouble with this on the first night, but the night staff member (Samuel) was very attentive and changed my room. Overall, it's good value for money.

Excellent location for exploring Bath. It's about a 10-minute walk into the centre of Bath, although the walk back up the hill does take its toll on your legs after a few days! That said, it's perfectly manageable, and we chose to walk rather than take transport. There is also a bus, which costs around £4 per person, or an Uber is approximately £7.90. The room was clean and a good size. We chose a room with a patio, which was perfect on a hot day as you could open the doors and let some fresh air in. I would recommend trying to include breakfast when booking, as otherwise it's an extra £20 per person. The breakfast was very enjoyable. We had the full English and Eggs Royale, with the option to help yourself to toast, yoghurt, fruit and other items. The croissant was amazing! The young waitress who served us was also very polite, friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Parking was £15 per night, which we thought was very reasonable for Bath. I would recommend arriving early to make sure you get a space, as parking is limited. We arrived at around 1pm and there were plenty of spaces available. We were also able to leave our car there from arrival and then check in later that evening at around 8pm, which was really convenient. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly both on arrival and when we checked out, which made us feel well looked after throughout our stay. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. It's a great base for exploring Bath, with friendly staff, comfortable rooms and good value parking.

This hotel is part of a chain, so you can count on the quality being consistent across the board. Its prime location in the heart of the old town makes it incredibly convenient for walking to the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, and the River Avon. Despite early May not being peak season, the hotel was quite popular with a high occupancy rate. Breakfast is served on the ground floor in the lobby, and while it can get very busy during peak hours, it's always well-organized. They offer a full English breakfast with all the usual trimmings. The rooms aren't small, but trying to open and lay flat two 28-inch suitcases might feel a bit cramped. We booked two twin rooms and one double room, staying for two nights, and found all the services to be excellent – clean, tidy, and quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at Apex Hotel Bath. The location is perfect, it’s very convenient and within walking distance of many of Bath’s popular tourist attractions, restaurants, and shops. The hotel amenities were excellent, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. The staff provided great service throughout our visit; everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bath!

I love Charlton house, it was really quirky. The way it has been styled is really unusual. It makes you feel like you're in a bit of a fantasy world with the little corridors and quirky little nooks and crannies. For me it fit the bill, it did the job that I needed but I understand for those people that do not get it on an offer and pay a lot of money to stay there I understand how they might say that it's a bit dirty a bit tired a bit grubby and needs a bit of TLC. There seemed to be one very sweet man that was running around doing pretty much everything and the rest of the staff were hidden behind doors or just not there. I'm not sure. There were staff present in the spa and they were lovely and helpful and kind. My little room was gorgeous and cute and cozy, and clean enough although tatty in places. For me I really had a nice day and I would definitely come back. The breakfast was extremely basic but I didn't have extremely high expectations, and I'm not really a breakfast person, so again it may not make the tick box for others but it did the job for me. The hotel is attractive and full of charm, with a pleasant aspect facing the church, however, the surrounding area of Bridgwater is rather run down.  Staff were very efficient and checked us in quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the restaurant as it was closed due to it being Father's Day. Our room was ok, and had a large bathroom with both shower and separate bath. There was plenty of hot water available, but aware that it was almost scalding when allowed to run without cold added. The bed was comfortable and the room well equipped with tea facilities, ironing board and iron and hair dryer. Due to the age of the building, there was a lot of noise from residents walking around in the rooms above ours, but it wasn't too obtrusive. Breakfast was very good with a choice of full English or continental and my gluten allergy was catered for.  If you  need to stay in Bridgwater, then I would recommend The Old Vicarage, but we would probably look in the villages further out of the town in future.

Perfect spot for exploring Bath, very central and easy to walk to the station, shops and attractions. The apartment was spotlessly clean with everything we needed, and felt secure in the lovely courtyard. We extended our stay as we felt so at home there. There looked to be a secure left luggage store which we may have used if we’d seen it earlier. Would be useful to have info about this in the apartment info pack. There is some noise from the street for apartment 7, partly from early deliveries to Thermae Spa which is directly opposite, and also from people wandering through the echoey passageways at night. We got used to it by the end of our stay, but light sleepers might prefer one of the inward facing apartments.

We had an amazing stay at The Bailbrook House Hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and all the food was excellent. We had a small issue at breakfast as were quite late coming in for it and some of the fruit had gone, however having said that the poached egg and avocado on sourdough I had was to die for, and was delicious, and the full english was very good too. All in all it was all very enjoyable stay and would definitely return, and recommend the hotel to friends and family.

The food is delicious, the room is not air-conditioned, but the British countryside, the temperature is OK in the morning and evening, the scenery is very good, you can go to the surrounding area for a good dinner, experience the British countryside scenery
