Aston Review: I highly recommend everyone visiting Batam to stay at Aston! This is my second time in Batam, and my second stay at this hotel! ❤️ This time (August 29-31) was super busy; the hotel was almost fully booked, and some items at the breakfast buffet weren't replenished quickly enough. I hope the hotel can arrange more staff on weekends to ensure faster replenishment and replacement of food at the breakfast buffet, and more efficient cleaning! ✅ The air conditioning is very cold (when you check in and open the room door, the AC is already on and waiting for you!) ✅ The room is clean, tidy, and very spacious. ✅ There's a swimming pool, a huge gym (you can even train for HYROX!), a sauna, and massage services. ✅ Breakfast offers a very wide and rich selection! Many local Indonesian specialties, almost everything you can think of! ✅ International adapters are available for direct charging. ✅ Many TV channels, including CCTV, Phoenix Satellite TV, Celestial Movies, as well as Korean and Japanese channels. ✅ The bed is huge and incredibly comfortable! ✅ There's a refrigerator, a bathtub 🛁, and a safe. ✅ Very thoughtful! Simple anniversary decorations + a cake (we saw it right when we checked in and opened the door ❤️). ✅ Hotel staff help open doors and carry luggage. ✅ The hotel is right next door (to the right), just a 5-minute walk to Pisang Keju Terowongan – very affordable and freshly baked! Overall, I'm still very satisfied with my second stay! The next time I visit Batam, I will definitely consider staying at Aston again! ❤️

Good location with many food options nearby. Walking distance to Nagoya Hill Mall. Breakfast is superb, delicious local tastes. The room is clean but lacks amenities, especially hand towels and hairdryers.

The hotel is very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is small and dirty when we were there. Kids walking around at the breakfast area and jumping in and out from the pool to breakfast area. No proper towels provided for the pool. My room is clean but face a block of construction wall which looks really eerie at night. I think they are in the midst of extension their hotel. Blackout twice but power came back fast. Despite the small imperfect, it is still a very comfortable hotel which I will go back to in Batam.

A Perfect 3D2N Mother-Son Getaway! This was my second visit to Batam View Beach Resort, and it was just as wonderful as the first. I brought my mom this time, and she enjoyed everything about our stay. Food: Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a delicious mix of local and Western dishes. While we were bummed that the seafood restaurant was closed for dinner, the indoor restaurant/bar completely made up for it with great food and service. Amenities: The resort facilities are excellent, and my mom took full advantage of them. Overall, a fantastic experience. We will definitely be back!

The room is great but could have been a little bit more cleaner, especially the steps of the double deck bed. Small snacks left there. But overall it is a great deal with big and clear TV & aircon that is working well. The breakfast is not bad too, quite a variety for the price. So far it's worth it. Looks exactly like the photos.

We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The hotel is modern, clean, and conveniently located. We especially enjoyed the wide selection at breakfast, with plenty of choices available. The staff at the restaurant were attentive, friendly, and welcoming, making our dining experience even more pleasant. We also loved relaxing at the Infinity Pool, which was a great highlight of our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay at Oakwood Batam again. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed the accessibility to Grand ESKA spa. The breakfast buffet was simple yet enjoyable and delicious. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Appreciated the front desk team for remembering us by face and asking how our day was daily. The hotel was refurbished. Even though old, the bed was good, firm and new and room was kept clean. The lift was rather dingy but it still got us up and down safely. Lastly, i personally enjoyed the quiet corners of the hotel. Loved the fact that our level was “child free” hence there werent kids shouting in rooms. I love children, but the hotel’s particular policy of no child in the room type we booked was pleasantly surprising. Will returned. Note: spa experience was on point too.

The room was spacious, breakfast was delicious, and the pool water was clean. It's very close to the sea, and the service was excellent. They offer childcare, and there's a free shuttle service from the pier to the hotel, as well as a free shuttle for shopping. When checking in, they ask for your departure ferry details, and upon check-out, they arrange your ferry tickets and provide transportation to the pier. There was an incident where guests upstairs mistakenly tried to enter my friend's room in the middle of the night and asked housekeeping to open it. The hotel immediately called the police and checked the surveillance footage after being informed.

The hotel setup is just nice, not so big and not small. The room is clean and just perfect for family of 3. The pool is huge, the free transport to and from ferry terminal was great. The breakfast spread was awesome. The main breakfast offered different menus every single day, with amazing indonesian food; weatern food, indian and sushi is available, too! The french toast was the best! Don’t miss the french toast if you have breakfast there. The hotel location is the closest to plaza lagoi which allow you to walk or you can use hotel’s bicycle, too. The beach is just at the backyard and the pool is huge. The bar/beach club offered a good choices of food. Overall it was a great stay, really value for money. Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Cassia. The single beds were super single, comfy and spacious. I loved the private beach shared with Homm and Banyan Tree. We went before the long weekend started. So there was no crowd and we got to enjoy the beach mostly to ourselves and with other family guests. The tide was mostly calm and sea shallow. It was therapeutic for my 5 year old just to be in the sea water bobbling with the calm waves. Breakfast was tasty especially the local dishes. Staff was always friendly and smiling. It is a 5 star stay with a superbly reasonable price. I’m so glad I chose Cassia. Thumbs up to the staff during our stay and the reception lady for remembering my daughter’s name. For those who are fearful of the island heat, take note that breakfast is served in a non-aircon restaurant. But that’s the whole idea of a beach holiday!
