Got an early check-in ..thanks. The room was very big and comfortable. The hotel is very clean and well organised. We had dinner, breakfast and lunch. The food was good great , we really enjoyed it. Staff were friendly.
We will be returning.

The room is comfortable, spacious and bright. The bed is especially comfortable. The food is delicious. The hotel staff is very enthusiastic. When they learned that 10.5 was the last breakfast, the restaurant manager Cosca (not sure if it is spelled correctly) immediately exempted us from the full breakfast for two on the morning of the 5th. The overall living experience made my husband and I feel at home. Next time I have the opportunity to come to Cork, Ireland, I will stay at River Lee again!

It was a wonderful Victorian-style hotel. The hotel was remodeled from a former hospital building, and it has luxurious spaces. The rooms were clean and spacious, of course. The bathrooms were also of a high standard. It was impressive that they eliminated the bathtub to save water consumption in order to maintain the sustainability that the hotel aims for. I hope it will continue to develop as a good accommodation.

Room was on the small side but nice amenities and close to everything. One complaint is the fire doors make noise when they close which you can hear from your room.

The room is super big, and the kitchen is equipped with everything (pots and pans).
The hotel room is very new and the location is very convenient. It is just by the river. The opposite bank of the river is the city center. It takes less than ten minutes to walk.

SSharmaSachinThe hotel was okay overall, but there were a few things that could definitely be better. Water bottles weren’t given every day—you only get them if you ask, which felt a bit inconvenient. It’s something you expect to be taken care of without having to remind them. The internet in the room was quite slow. It worked, but not great—good enough for checking messages, but not reliable if you need to do work or stream anything. On the bright side, the lobby looked really nice—clean, modern, and a good place to sit and relax for a bit. In short, it’s not a bad place, but a few small improvements could make the stay much more comfortable. Swimming pool service was good.

アアヅサAs many reviews mentioned, the breakfast was absolutely wonderful! I'd highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good breakfast. We booked a double room for two, and it was toasty warm even in January (though we couldn't figure out how to turn off the heater!). The room was spacious, with a sofa and table, which was a nice bonus – it was great to have somewhere to sit and relax with a cup of tea besides the bed. The TV turned on, but no channels came through, so we gave up on that. There was no bathtub, just a shower, but the water pressure and temperature were excellent. The decor and building itself had a lovely vintage feel, like a charming old European apartment, but the shower was surprisingly modern.

The hotel is strategically located by the river and close to the bus station, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with a kettle and a selection of herbal teas, teas, and coffee. However, the bathroom is definitely in need of an update: the sink is very small, the bath/shower mixer isn't working properly, and it's impossible to take a shower without getting your head completely wet. Overall, though, the stay was pleasant, and I would happily return; I'd also recommend it to friends looking for comfortable and centrally located accommodation.

GGuest UserI always enjoy my stays at the Talbot. It really is a lovely hotel. The rooms are big and spacious, as are the bathrooms. The staff are friendly and professional. My only complaint is the breakfast which I don't bother with anymore. It's very subpar considering the price the hotel charges for a room. Apart from that, I love the place.
