We stayed for 5 nights in the X-Alp hotel during our summer holiday/honeymoon. Everything was perfect! The staff helped us to plan our daily activities and they're extremely friendly and helpful both in the reception and in the restaurant. The spa section was tastefully decorated and a perfect ending for an active day on the mountains. The breakfast wasn't so versatile, but you find every morning something to fill up your plate. The best thing in the breakfast was the cake table with several different tasty pleasures. Kiitos, kaikki oli erinomaista! :)

It is good to start from where you left. The property keeps delivering, consistently. Excellent breakfast, good restaurant, great bartender (follow his recommendations, you will love them), unsurpassed location just outside the A22 motorway. All what you need from the hotel is right there. Keep it up the good work.

The back door of the hotel is Garda Lake, where you can swim and windsurf, and there is a windsurfing school in the hotel. The breakfast is fairly plentiful in Europe, and the service is in line with the high standards of northern Italy. The styles of the rooms in the new building and the old building are quite different. The hotel is like a big park, with good plant landscape design. The only problem is that pets are allowed in the hotel. Many people stay with dogs and they will urinate everywhere. Although individuals also love dogs, they are also worried about the indoor and outdoor hygiene of the hotel...

We had a change in our itinerary and decided to stay at the Four Points by Sheraton Bolzano for a long weekend. It's a beautiful Four Points. Rooms were comfortable. We are Titanium BonVoy but, due to the large number of families staying at the property, they were unable to upgrade us to a suite.Regardless, the room was spacious and comfortable. Upon arrival the rollaway bed was set up and a set of towels and a bathrobe were on the bed. Unfortunately the third set of towels wasn't replaced day 2 or 3. no big deal. My daughter and i took advantage of the spa and we both had great, relaxing experiences. The pool is very nice. A sign posted outside the pool states ”no one under 16yo allowed after 1830.” No one enforced the rule. Unfortunately one of the days there were 2 Unaccompanied children running, diving and jumping. Sunday morning was super peaceful with many people checking out so we enjoyed the peaceful time while we could! The hotel is in a more industrial/business area. We found a great Irish pub walking distance from the hotel on Friday but almost every other restaurant, spare the in house one, required driving or a taxi. The restaurants walking distance from the hotel are closed Saturday and Sunday and many are closed for dinner Friday. Breakfast was good. Overall a very pleasant stay. We've stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton in the US. This one blows them away!

Just home from a lovely week spent in Astoria Resort. The hotel itself is pretty fresh and modern. The grounds around the hotel are so beautifully maintained. The rooms and bathrooms are basic and could really do with renewing the floor and cupboards. However, the bed is really comfortable, the pillows are too, and the air conditioning works well. The cleaners come in every day and fresh towels every day. The breakfast provided is really great- so much choice and complimentary Prosecco available too. You can have a coffee anyway you want, make your own smoothies and also fresh crepes and omelettes made on demand. The only downfall of breakfast is that we struggled most days to get an available table. We had to queue a couple of times and people would just ignore the queue and walk on in and claim a table. Needs a better system for seating people on busy days. The staff working in the hotel- front desk, bar, breakfast and the cleaners are so friendly, professional and welcoming, unfortunately the staff who work around the pool and at the pool snack bar both male and female have none of these qualities- they are rude, dismissive and we had to ask multiple times for our orders after we had placed them as they just seemed to forget. The staff at the pool/pool bar are the main reason for the 4/5 score and not a 5/5 score. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Astoria and would recommend it. It’s about a 15/18 minute flat walk to the lakefront. Riva del Garda is a beautiful part of the lake. We will defo be back.

Honestly we can’t speak any more highly about this hotel. It was literally our favourite hotel of our month long Europe trip, They’ve thought of every single detail to give you the best trip ever. We had a horrible experience in our last place so decided to leave and move here instead and thank goodness we did. The staff are incredible, they couldn’t have been nicer and the whole team were very helpful. There were so many free treats as well and a yummy breakfast and hight tea that we didn’t know about so it was a real bonus.. The pool, sauna and spa area was definitely the highlight for us, so many places to relax, everything was next level clean and modern and perfect after a good hike. This hotel should be 6 star, we had another booking at a different hotel the day after but didn’t want to leave here so cancelled (even lost our money and didn’t care) but we just had to enjoy another night! You will not regret booking this hotel! ******

This rating should be a 5. It went back and forth between a 4 and a 5, but stays a 4. The parking was hard to find. The entrance from the garage was filthy. I thought we had arrived at the bowels of hell. No signs and no directions just umpteen stairs to drag your luggage across. They made it as unsightly and unwelcoming and physically difficult as possible to get to the main desk. Reception was cool. It was a 3. The halls were plain and sp****. They reminded me of a hall in a girl’s dorm. A 4. But then we got to this fabulous luxurious room overlooking the plaza and it was utterly breathtaking. Charm galore. Two bathrooms. Roomy. Definitely a 5. The shower door leaked, but we made due. The facilities were clean. The furniture was charming but a little warn. Down to a 4. The next morning, we had the most divine breakfast. It was incredible and the staff was above and beyond. Back to a 5. Then we checked out - well I checked out while my sister handled the bags. The reception had asked for someone to help her with the bags. He called the elevator. That’s it. She was left struggling with 6 bags up the stairs back through the bowels of hell to the parking garage. Now it’s a 4. And there it remains. What makes a hotel a five is service and hospitality. This hotel did not succeed. Which is too bad because it should have been a 5. Management needs to do some work here. Great view though. We voted it the best view and best breakfast of our 3 week trip to Northern Italy. It makes me sad when people who should succeed fall short.

Cordula & Peter sind wunderbare und ganz herzliche Gastgeber, die den Gästen stets in freundlicher und gleichsam höflicher Nähe zur Seite stehen. Die Suiten sind phantastisch: Open-Plan-Architektur, wunderschön ausgestattete Küchenbereiche, offene Badgestaltung, hochwertige Materialien, traumhafter Schlafkomfort. Es fehlt einem an nichts! Der bewärmte Pool und der Panorama-Saunabereich sowiedie Ruhezone mit jeweils atemberaubenden Ausblicken in die wunderschöne Bergwelt laden zur Nutzung ein. Die Gemeinschaftsbereiche zum Frühstück und zum Chillen tagsüber sind traumhaft gestaltet, begleitet wird dieses von einer gut bestückten Honesty-Bar mit wirklich seriöser Preisgestaltung. Aber all dies tritt zurück hinter die Wärme und Herzlichkeit, die Gastgeberin Cordula ihren Gästen gegenüber vermittelt. Wir haben ”unser” My Daum ins Herz geschlossen und können jedem ambitionierten Gast einen Aufenthalt ebendort nur wärmstens empfehlen. Wir werden ganz sicher und sehr bald wieder an diesen besonderen Ort zurückkehren.

I booked a double room with a five-year-old child. The front desk was upgraded to a super-large triple room for free, and only charged 25 euros for an extra bed, including breakfast for the child. This is not the most expensive hotel I have visited, but it is the most ”aristocratic”. Just look at this breakfast table. Even the flowers are real flowers. The orange juice squeezing machine made the children watch curiously for a long time. There are many kinds of jams, all fresh and delicious. The child ate so much bread for the first time because the jam was so delicious. All the front desks and waiters are very professional and polite, very enthusiastic and keep smiling. The child said that we can live here if we don't leave.

nice hotel for 1 night. decent location 10 minutes to the heart of Trento. the staff was friendly and the room was clean but the air-conditioner barely worked. the breakfast was very good with many selections.

Hotel situato fuori dalla Ztl e a pochissima distanza da stazione e centro, posizione top! Top anche il personale che è stato davvero gentile e disponibile per tutto il soggiorno, complimenti! Venendo alla struttura, l'impressione è che viva sui fasti di un tempo lontano. Infatti, oggi necessiterebbe di una ristrutturazione, soprattutto all'interno delle camere (io avevo una standard). A tal proposito, note positive sono state il letto king size e la TV (che era comprensiva di sky). Tuttavia, il letto l'ho trovato molto molto duro (magari sarà un gusto personale), la doccia in muratura, anche se grande, era poco funzionale e senza pannelli, sicché l'acqua finiva ovunque. Le mattonelle del bagno in alcune parti erano rotte, mentre in alcune zone delle pareti mancava l'intonaco. Nel complesso la pulizia mi è sembrata buona, peccato per alcuni ”particolari” come ad esempio una macchia su di una tenda e una su di una parete. Per il resto albergo un po impersonale che avrebbe bisogno, oltre che di una ristrutturazione, anche di una caratterizzazione che ricordi un po di più la splendida città che lo ospita. Va bene l'alta stagione (ponte dell'Immacolata) ma ho trovato il prezzo troppo alto per quanto offerto. 3/5

This was my third stay at this luxurious building overlooking the northern part of Lake Garda. Superb staff throughout the hotel, food was outstanding as well as the pleasant service in the restaurant. Indoor swimming pool and sauna are one of the best I have used. I will definitely revisit.

We were attempting to get back to our hotel by using a web based mapping tool. It kept telling us to turn right, even when there was no option to do so. My mum is in a wheelchair, neither of us are spring chickens. After overheating and becoming more and more lost we decided to go to the Hoody hotel to ask if they would call us a cab. Isia greeted us with a friendly smile and could instantly tell that we were dehydrated. He gave us both water and a place to rest. He allowed us to use the restroom facilities and whilst I was in there, he got a map and showed mum where we were and the route we needed to get back to our hotel. Unfortunately there were no cabs available but with his careful guide we were able to follow the map and arrived safely back to our destination. He even gave us the phone number for his hotel and said if we were to get lost again to call him and he would direct us to the the best of his ability- Talk about going above and beyond. A real angel that helped 2 ladies in distress. He is the very blueprint of what front of house staff should be like. We have just returned from an 11 night stay, half board at the Hotel Piccolo Mondo with our 3 year old child booked through TUI. The flight was 1 hour 55 minutes and the transfer took just over an hour - don't let you put that off though! From start to finish the hotel was amazing, I cannot recommend it highly enough! Room - we stayed in room 225 and had a lovely mountain view, the room had a mini bar, double and single bed, balcony, plenty of coat hangers and storage for clothes, air con and TV. Perfectly clean and had maid service every day. Food - one of the main reasons we chose this hotel was due to the reviews about the food, we are both foodies and it did not disappoint! Our worst nightmare is an all inclusive buffet all you can eat type hotel so having a waiter served 4 course meal every night with the most amazing Italian food was right up our street! I will include a few photos! My daughter loved the food, if there wasn't something she fancied it was no problem at all for her to be cooked some pasta or spaghetti. Breakfast was great, and had the usual selection; served from 7am-10am. We ate in various restaurants for lunch depending on where we were, there is a really nice restaurant just opposite the hotel. Location - this was our very first time visiting Lake Garda and it will certainly not be our last, we loved everything about it. Torbole is a fantastic place to stay with so much going on for families, my husband took his mountain bike and went on some of best bike rides he has ever been on - there are many places in Torbole which provide shuttle services to the top of the mountains, you just book the day before. There is a separate locked room to store your bike and equipment in. Everywhere you go people are riding around on bikes, and you can borrow bikes from the hotel. We walked in to Riva many times, it takes approx 40 minutes - Riva is much bigger but we preferred Torbole without a doubt. Transport - there is a bus stop a few minutes walk away, with regular buses to Riva, Malcesine, Arco and other towns in the North of the lake. We used the ferries also to travel around, however the bus is much cheaper and quicker dependent on where you are going. Things to do - we went on the Cable Car up Monte Baldo which was amazing, did the Panoramic walk which is a must, took the ferry to Limone, visited the waterfall in Verone, there was a festival with fireworks one night in Riva, mini golf opposite the hotel, my husband hired a paddle board and canoe on the lake which he enjoyed - there is so much to do! The swimming pool was generally quiet, it has a separate children's pool too. Staff - every single member of staff was lovely, you were greeted every time you walked past reception and the waiters and waitresses were lovely. I arrived to this beautiful hotel earlier than expected. The friendly staff offered me coffee and pastries and gave me towels so I could swim while my room was being prepared. The chef made the most delicious, mouth watering cuisine and actually accommodated for my food requirements. I had the sauna and pool to myself as it was low season and the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. The hotel staff and grounds were wonderful and by far it was the best hotel I’ve stayed in all Italy. A short drive to Alpe Di Siusi also and a great location.

We stumbled upon Santre online and saw that this hotel just opened. We decided to take a risk, not knowing how it would be. This was by far the best decision of our trip. The facilities were incredible, the food and the service were perfect. It’s the best spa we’ve been to in Europe. The rooms and mattresses were extremely comfortable. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered. Alex, the tour guide, was awesome and it was a pleasure to explore the outdoors with him. The hotel was fully booked when we stayed but it still felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.

The staff at the hotel are excellent. Very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is great. I had dinner there one night and it was also very good. The location is pretty much perfect if you want to be close to the lifts and a number of restaurants. My only real issue was due to the very hot days when I first arrived. My room got a lot of sun and didn’t cool down even with the window fully open. The last few days with lower temperatures were fine.

I have stayed here two years in a row in early July and have fond memories of the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly on both stays. The rooms are comfortable, well decorated, quiet and have great views from the balcony. From a photography perspective I appreciated having Alpe di Suisi right out the door for sunrise and sunset. I will say sunrise had more stable weather for me. My experience with sunset was that there was often thunderstorms. The area has several good webcams that you can scroll through past dates/times to get familiar with the weather and the seasons. One of the most photographed spots is about a twenty minute moderate/easy walk away near Malga Sanon. Icaro hotel is about the closest hotel you can get. In terms of location its good if you are planning to stay in the area. You can easily get to Ortisei by scenic twenty to thirty minute walk to the gondola. The walk will take you past several photogenic locations and Malga Sanon where you can have a nice lunch. Once in Ortisei you can take a cable car up to Seceda. I have also stayed over by Seceda, but didn’t find staying over there conducive for sunset/sunrise pictures given lodging was almost an hour hike away and on a steep hill. Additionally, well driving around Alpe di Suisi is controlled you can come/go in the morning or evening. So it is possible to do day trips from here . We did drive to Kastelruth for dinner one day. The gondola does stop running around 5:30-6pm. For me the ideal trip to the Dolomites is to stay at Icaro hotel for a few nights along with a few nights over by Cortina/Dobbica to somewhat reduce driving times between locations in the Dolomites. If you would like to stay one place and explore all of the Dolomites there is probably more central towns. However, I truly enjoy the setting of Icaro hotel and rinding the cable cars/gondolas nearby to get around the area. I would recommend Icaro hotel to others.

This was my third stay at this luxurious building overlooking the northern part of Lake Garda. Superb staff throughout the hotel, food was outstanding as well as the pleasant service in the restaurant. Indoor swimming pool and sauna are one of the best I have used. I will definitely revisit.

It is also close to the ferry port and a few lovely pebbled beaches that were great for taking a dip in the lake. Our room was spotlessly clean with daily maid service. The staff were lovely and always very helpful. We had an early pick up on our last day and an early breakfast was provided which was a nice touch. We were half board - breakfast and evening meal were both excellent. There was a nice variety to choose from and the food was delicious. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to visit again in the future.

I booked our stay at the Parc Hotel Flora because they had everything we were looking for. We didn’t know then that the hotel would exceed our expectations. We felt like home from the start. Service was excellent throughout the staff and with the smiles. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room was absolutely beautiful and bright. Clean and well organized every day. Lady making the omelets was so nice and even remembered how I liked mine, that blew my mind. Pool area is beautiful and because I love gardens, it didn’t hurt that the hotel had a great one! Absolute beauty. We rented e-bikes and hotel helped us with finding the rental place so we already knew where to go and collect the bikes when we arrived at the hotel. Hotel has a storage for the bikes and it has camera surveillance. Big plus. We had great fun and if we ever go back to Riva, we know the place we’re going to stay. Thank you for making our vacation so special. We miss our lovely mornings at the breakfast table and evenings at the ice-cream bar already.

A fantastic hotel!!! Very clean and profumed beautiful rooms, perfect breakfast there is everything you want and more broad made in the house of any kind and taste from simple white to bread made with flour of various cereals of various kinds such as cheese, farine, oat, segale, Rice, potatoes ect. And sweets of any kind stripper!!! Breakfast for all types of ethnicity! Italy, England, America, East of Europe!! Super!

Just waiting to leave this amazing hotel after a week here. You couldn’t ask for a better location ☺️ Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean and I had a lovely view over the lake. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Honestly I am very sad leaving this beautiful part of the world and will definitely return sooner rather than later - Grazie 🙏

I traveled for a month with 2 friends. We are all over 70. Hotel Potici was one of the nicest hotels of our trip. The location, on the main plaza of Riva del Garda was perfect. This hotel is reasonably priced, the rooms were very comfortable, and the front desk staff were all friendly and helpful! I had on issue with my room, and it was responded to very quickly. The included breakfast was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those whose budget is moderately priced.
