4-Star Hotels in Shimane Prefecture, Japan

The service is amazing. They guided us from the moment we entered the hotel and asked us about food allergies, whether the towels and bathrobes in the room needed to be changed every day, cleaning time and meal time, and escorted us to the door of the room. One night and two meals, I almost cried after eating, and it cured my problem of not eating fish. Their mixed soup requires special clothes, and there are very few people. The hotel also has a shuttle bus, see the time in the picture below. I always go out and take the bus to Matsue next door. There is no hot water in the bathroom of the room, and there is no hot water in the shower. Is it my personal problem? The projection of Shimane and the hotel's promotional video in the mixed soup has no sound, so disappointing. The Shimane snacks given by the hotel for two days were all robbed by the deer in Miyajima, so cruel. 😂

I stayed in a twin bed room. It was spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of free services, making it a luxurious trip. I was able to relax in the natural hot spring bath. However, depending on the direction of the room, you may have a view of the hospital right in front of you, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay!

The room is spacious, bright and comfortable, with views of the Tamatsukuri Onsen street. The hotel is well-equipped with two indoor hot springs (both with open-air hot springs) available, one on the first floor and the other a viewing hot spring.

A great hot spring hotel, right next to Izumo Taisha Shrine. There are many restaurants around, but they are all closed at night. The hotel's courtyard is exquisite, the hot springs are average, and the food is average. The best thing is the location and courtyard. It is an old building and the service is good.

The hotel staff were very friendly and it was a shame that the hotel was not on the Lake Shinji side, but the buffet food for dinner and breakfast was very satisfying. The location was great and the hot springs were free-flowing from the source, which made my skin feel so smooth and amazing. I would definitely like to stay here again, on the Lake Shinji side.

The view from the room was very good and the meal was very delicious in the morning and evening. I think it would be nice to be able to buy night meals and sake because there was no convenience store nearby. (There are some)

The dinner was great and the price was right. But there are 8 rooms that are not very good for weekends and need to be early in advance. Since there is nothing to eat nearby, it is best to book dinner on the official website, and you can make a rice ball to take away after eating rice. The breakfast is also very generous, it is Japanese style, and it is very full. The station is inconvenient to the hotel. It is best to rent a car at Izumo Station. If you take JR to Oda, you can taxi but it is difficult to take a taxi. You can let the hotel help you book a taxi.
