4-Star Hotels in Western Visayas, Philippines

We enjoyed our three night stay at the Richmonde Hotel. The staff is friendly, the location is superb, the breakfast buffet is outstanding, and the room is nice and comfortable. We will stay there again should the need arise, and have recommended the hotel to friends and family members.

Waited a bit during check in since my room was not ready (arrived at the hotel around 4 pm). Good thing the lobby wasn't crowded. Staff more than made up for it when I checked out. It was done in a jiffy.

This hotel is located in S1. I took a tuk-tuk from near S2 to the hotel, which took less than 20 minutes. Locals might pay 20-30 pesos, but the driver charged me 50 pesos, perhaps because I had a suitcase or I'm a foreigner. For first-time visitors to Boracay, this hotel isn't in the bustling commercial area, but for those on a vacation, its location is excellent. First, the hotel is situated within a large shopping complex. On B1, there's a Robinsons Supermarket where you can buy plenty of food, drinks, and daily necessities. There's also a visa extension office; I saw some online comments about people extending their stay there. The complex also has several restaurants that are much more affordable than those near D'Mall. Second, taking a shortcut behind the hotel, you can reach S1 beach in 5-10 minutes on foot. It's close to Diniwid Beach, and you can walk to a popular photo spot and Willy's Rock. You can also find activities like sunset sailing on the beach. The water here is more expansive than S2, and the sand is finer. The hotel provides two bath towels daily, which you can take out using a card. Since I didn't stay on the beach for long, I didn't use this amenity. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to different beaches, but you need to book in advance, so I didn't use that either. The hotel has a large swimming pool, perfect for a vacation. Each floor has purified water, and rooms have large reusable bottles for refilling. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a balcony where I could hang swimwear to dry. My room faced the street, so it wasn't as quiet as it could be, but I'm a good sleeper, so it didn't bother me. Check-in took a bit longer, as there were many documents to sign and a deposit was required, which could be paid by credit card.

This is unexpected booking but super worth it. They gave us excellent services from the early check in and room service. They checked if the guess are ok & some concern. The room are bigger than we expected. The buffet even just 2-3 options it’s delicious. Lots of option in bread and super yummy.everyone in hotel are friendly but need some training how to address the guess especially it’s obviously im a trans with big boobs and very feminine. Some staff especially the boys called me Sir which are very awkward and unprofessional if my boyfriend with me it’s going to be fight🫩 but In total it’s recommended hotel in boracay. It’s worth it our stay❤️

This hotel is absolutely top-tier for its price point. Incredible value for money and a fantastic experience overall. While the location was a bit tricky to find, the hotel offers a wealth of amenities. The pool is great fun. For this price, it's unbeatable, even better than some five-star establishments. Apart from looking a little dated, the overall vibe is excellent, giving off a real resort feel. The breakfast spread is extensive and even better and more varied than what you'd find at five-star hotels, which was a very pleasant surprise. Seriously, at this price, just book it without hesitation.

Everything is perfect. Our room got upgraded to Pool view. Breakfast is great compare to other hotel with the same price of stay. Mabilis din shuttle service to diff locs sa hotel. Pinakamatagal na yata 2 mins. 3rd visit na sa Boracay, maganda yung private beach kasi hindi crowded at hindi din sobrang init kahit tanghaling tapat compare sa main beach, same afternoon kasi lumipat na kami sa main beach. Ganda din amenities. Nagyym din kami haha

A wonderful location with lots of shops and restaurants nearby (we suggest TGH for excellent salpicao), and beachfront was beautiful. Family connecting room was spacious with good sized bathroom (shower & tub), two large screen tvs, and a small balcony with area to hang swimsuits to dry + a safe. Cons were the breakfast (quality quite low and many options nearby with better value), construction going on (although all staff and workers were courteous and polite), rainshower not working and only luke warm water available for showers/bathing, lots of algae in the ocean waterfront for swimming (especially compared to station 1).

A truly pleasant stay! The rooms were cozy, the staff wonderfully helpful, and the location was perfect for our trip. Would happily return.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful, I'd give it full marks! Check-in was delayed because our room wasn't ready, but while we waited, they kindly offered us a small tea service. When we finally got into the room, I was surprised by how much bigger it was than what was shown on the booking site, and everything looked exactly like the photos. The bathroom was spacious, the hot water worked perfectly, the water pressure was strong, and the towels were lint-free, which I really appreciated. I'm not sure if it was just our room, but I was also impressed by how accessible the bathroom was for guests with disabilities (even the light switches were installed lower). The rooftop pool, though small, was great because it had separate sections for kids and adults, and the view was absolutely stunning. When we returned after going out, we found a box of chocolate muffins and a note apologizing for the late check-in. I was touched by their thoughtful customer care again, especially since we were already grateful for the tea and cookies they provided earlier. We only stayed here for one night on the last day of our trip, and it was so good that I truly regretted not staying longer. If I plan another trip, I would definitely want to stay here for the entire duration. The only minor downside was that there was no mosquito net on the balcony, and the gap between the window frame and the wooden door frame allowed mosquitoes to get in. If that could be fixed, it would be absolutely perfect.
