It was decent. However, the showering experience in the bathtub room was quite frustrating. The tub wasn't very clean, and the showerhead was fixed, not detachable. On the plus side, the views were great. Breakfast offered fried noodles and youtiao, and they also had Chinese-speaking staff available, making it a good option for Chinese travelers on a short stay. đ

We stayed in a deluxe city view room at Hilton Financial Districtâbeautiful views and a warm welcome! The TV greeted us with a personalized âWelcome Cristopher,â which was a thoughtful touch. Staff were friendly and let us check in early. Great location near Chinatown, with amazing foodâthanks to Denmark for recommending House of Nanking! Room was clean and well-priced.

Perfect for a layover. The hotel is a bit old but reasonably clean. The shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes or so. When you arrive at the LAX terminal, take the elevator to the 2nd floor, exit the door, and walk all the way to the right to find the hotel bus shuttle stop. For the hotel elevators, you need to press your floor number, for example, if your room is 8051, press 8, and the elevator will tell you which car to take. There's a Starbucks inside the hotel, but one of the black staff members there had an extremely bad attitude, looking grumpy early in the morning as if I owed her money.
## Room:
The room was spacious. Some rooms are a bit noisy due to their proximity to the highway. Bottled water in the room is complimentary only for Hilton Honors members; otherwise, it costs $4 a bottle. Wi-Fi requires you to register as a member (I'm not sure if it's mandatory, but I had to register to use it). Housekeeping services need to be requested at the front desk upon check-in. The water pressure in the shower wasn't very strong, but it was sufficient. As usual, no toothbrush, toothpaste, or disposable slippers were provided (I brought my own, so I don't know if they can be requested from the front desk).
## Hotel Facilities:
There's a small convenience store next to the front desk on the first floor, selling snacks, drinks, and water. The lobby also has a coffee shop that opens at 6:30 AM. I received two complimentary cookies during check-in, which was a pleasant surprise!
## Transportation:
To get to Disneyland, there's a bus stop right outside the hotel with direct service (bus routes 6/12 or 12), though the schedule isn't always precise. You can buy a day pass on the official website for $6 per adult; it's more cost-effective if you plan to use the bus for bothćŸèż trips. A single ride with a credit card costs $4, and you'll be billed the next day. You can also take an Uber to Disneyland from the hotel entrance.
## Nearby:
Across from the hotel, there's a Starbucks and a Wendy's. There's also a large shopping mall nearby, The Outlets at Orange, where you can shop.
I drove by and stayed for one night. The price/performance ratio was good. It was an upgraded motel, so parking was free. However, the guy at the front desk seemed to dislike Chinese people. He kept splitting up to serve other Europeans and Americans during the check-in process and gave us a room far from the front desk. The next day, the lady was much more enthusiastic. There were several breakfast sets. You could choose one. The portion was large, but the waiting time was quite long.
The location is the best part of this hotel. It's centrally located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe, right next to the Mariana/breach. The hotel is a bit aging; bedding are comfortable, but covering sheet that I got was a bit dirty. Room was a bit small but there's a kitchen, so that is a big plus. Front desk girl who checked me in was very not friendly. The resort fee is a rip off. Parking sucks and is $27/day, so I parked across the street in the residential neighborhood for free. Overall, I think it's really worth a 3-star, so paying ~$120 or below for a night during the low season is probably fine.
Basically in line with the hotel situation of its brand positioning, there are no surprises or surprises. The sanitary conditions in public areas are average. There are many commercial facilities around the location and convenient dining.

The room is clean and has everything you need. The hotel also provides a minibreakfast. This hotel is just a short walk away from Civic center, touristy areas. However, the streets nearby have a lot of homeless people. Also take note it is always noisy before midnight since it is just roadside. However, after midnight, it is quiet enough to catch a good sleep. If you are a light sleeper, do take this into consideration. Overral I think it is good for the money as a solo traveler. By the way, there is a cheap Vietnamese sandwige store at the corner of Larkin and Eddy streets. $5.5 for one, extremely affordable and fulfilling.

The environment is very nice, but the buffet breakfast doesn't live up to the price; it's worse than many hotels that offer free breakfast.

Deducted 1 point from location as there were too many homeless people around that made us not feel safe when walking in or out of the hotel. The room itself were big enough for 2 people and I would commend the staff for being so accommodating helping us to check in early and checking if they have an available twin room available instead of just giving us a King bed when they noticed we were 2 friends together. No bellboy in the hotel so be prepared to lug all your luggages up to your room. They have free breakfast/snacks in the morning and coffee/tea. Overall satisfied with my stay!
The location was very convenient and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Free shuttle from and to the airport. Water station next to the lobby to refill water bottles. Nice outside pool in the third floor. Rooms were not too cramped. Restaurant and bar in the ground floor. Not much else around the hotel walking distance other than a few gas stations, car rentals, and a starbucks.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that truly dazzled me with its stunning aesthetics at the lobby and incredible amenities. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotelâs beautiful entrance and lobby and meticulously clean environment. Itâs clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into maintaining this lobby. One of the standout features of this hotel is their family-friendly policy of âkids eat free.â This not only adds great value for families traveling with children but also makes dining more enjoyable without the added stress of budgeting for meals. It was delightful to see kids savoring their meals with smiles and laughter filling the dining areaâa testament to the welcoming atmosphere the hotel fosters. The pool area is nothing short of breathtaking. The stunning design incorporates lush landscaping, providing a serene oasis for relaxation. Even more impressive is the cleanliness and upkeep of the pool. It sparkles in the sunlight, inviting guests to take a refreshing dip or lounge poolside with a drink in hand. This meticulous attention to detail elevates the overall experience and sets a positive tone for the entire stay. However, I must mention that while the hotelâs public areas and amenities are fantastic, the rooms themselves are somewhat outdated. Although they provide the necessities and comfort for a good night's sleep, the decor and furnishings could use an upgrade to match the hotelâs otherwise stunning aesthetic. Nevertheless, this did not significantly detract from my overall experience. After all, when you're surrounded by such beauty and comfort in other areas, itâs easy to overlook the room's shortcomings. In conclusion, this hotel is a gorgeous retreat that excels in providing top-notch amenities, such as kid-friendly dining options and a beautiful pool area. While thereâs room for improvement in room decor, the overall experience remains delightful and fulfilling. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families and vacationers looking for a blend of relaxation and fun! Lastly, parking and shuttle to theme parks were complimentary! Itâs a 4 stars for me!
Great location, lobby is very pretty. Room is spacious but outdated (upgrade necessary but canât say anything coz the room price is affordable. Trip.com should let customers know about parking fee ($39/night).
A fantastic, stylish hotel in a perfect location. Loved the sleek, modern rooms and the incredible rooftop bar with stunning city views. It's ideal for exploring downtown and an easy walk to LA Live and the Arena. Highly recommend!
FFeisitelaweiliaoThe facilities are a bit old, and you have to climb a hill to get to the main entrance of the hotel. It is not far from old town transit and fashion valley, so it is quite convenient.
I had a 10 hour layover in LAX and after reading the reviews for the Sheraton I decided to book a room before my next 15 hour flight. Best decision! Spent my time relaxing in the spacious, clean room. I went to the gym and even sat by the pool! Iâm definitely booking once Iâm around lax again.
