The location was good and the hotel was clean. Overall, I would recommend it. The staff were kind and helpful. When I arrived at the hotel with a same-day reservation, they seemed to have prepared a larger room than expected, allowing me to relax comfortably. There is no elevator, but this is a common building structure in Uzbekistan, so it wasn't a problem. The breakfast was sufficient considering it was included in the room rate. There is a currency exchange machine in the hotel, so you don't have to worry if you're short on cash. Finally, be careful with the bathroom facilities in the room.

We were welcomed like honored guests at the hotel. Administrators Farrukh and Mamur promptly fulfilled all our requests. At breakfast, I asked if there were syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes). There weren't any that morning, but they prepared and brought them to us within 15 minutes. Utair airline delayed our flight by 11 hours, and there were no available rooms to extend our stay at the hotel, but the administrators once again ensured our wait was comfortable. We waited for our flight in the cozy hotel lobby. I'd also like to mention the hotel's location, which in our opinion, is the most convenient in Samarkand: a 5-minute walk to Registan, and excellent access to the hotel. The hotel's location isn't right in the city center, but it's relatively close to the Samarkand railway station. Taking a taxi to attractions like Registan Square or Shah-i-Zinda takes only about ten minutes, so sightseeing is completely unaffected. The room is indeed small and a bit cramped, but it feels more comfortable than the photos on the booking page suggest—no disappointing ”photoshop vs. reality” gap. The shower water pressure is great, and the mattress has a nice firmness, making for a good night's sleep. Breakfast is average—filling, but nothing special. I was initially worried the room would be a letdown, but the actual experience exceeded expectations. Good value for money, and I would recommend it to travelers with a similar budget.

Pros… * Location: 15 mins walkable distance to Registan square and a couple other attractions * Breakfast: a great variety of options ~ hot & cold + few options of fruits and pastries / desserts * Room: it was ok apart from the AC… which was dripping water once turned on.. hot water available for shower which was great! Beddings were good, a fridge, iron board, iron, a keep safe box, bath robes, 2 bottles of water available in room. Amenities: hairdryer, towels, shower gel, shampoo, hand wash, tooth brush, tooth paste and cotton buds were provided Cons… * Breakfast: starts at 8am and ends at 10am. It starts kind of late especially when some people of early start * Fitness center: only cardio machine available. Lights are never on, AC not on… also starts 8-8pm just really isn’t ideal timing especially during summer where people may wanna use the gym first thing before they have breakfast/ explore then come back for the gym.. hence I never got chance to use at all… it also looks like it’s never open… it gives a very off putting vibe. The swimming pool looks nice though.

I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. All my expectations were fully met. The staff were polite and attentive; you feel their welcoming attitude towards guests from the very first moment. The room was clean and cozy, with everything you need. I especially want to highlight the very convenient location of the hotel, making it easy to get to the city's main attractions. A big plus is the sauna and swimming pool. After walking around the city, it was especially nice to relax in the hotel's spa area in the evening. This added even more comfort to my vacation. Overall, it's a very pleasant and charming hotel. I only have good impressions. I highly recommend it.

After a day of exploring the city, it's wonderful to relax by the pool, take a dip, and enjoy a meal at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant serves excellent food; their lunch soups with a warm bun are incredibly energizing for the whole day! Breakfasts are hearty and delicious, and I particularly appreciate the wide selection of seasonal fruits like peaches, apricots, nectarines, watermelon, melon, pears, apples, and strawberries. The samsa is absolutely amazing, especially the one with zucchini, and the chicken samsa is excellent too. I haven't tasted such delicious samsa anywhere else in Uzbekistan – the dough just melts in your mouth. A huge thank you to the chef! Right next to the hotel, there are bus stops where you can catch a bus for just 2000 soum to all the city's attractions. Taxis are also readily available and inexpensive. The Registan Square is about an hour's leisurely walk away, and along the way, you can browse shops and grab a bite at cafes.

I stayed here alone and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is a little far from the city center, so you will probably need to use Yandex to get around. One thing to keep in mind is that it can be difficult to find a Yandex taxi early in the morning. I recommend asking the front desk to arrange a taxi in advance. I paid 80,000 som from the hotel to the train station. Also, the hotel does not have a currency exchange service. The nearest option is the Hilton Regency across the street, but it takes around 30 minutes to walk there. One small thing to note is that there was no toothbrush in the room, so I had to ask the front desk for one. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel, especially if you don’t mind using taxis to get around.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A magnificent hotel that exceeded all expectations! Pros: The best hotel in the city! From check-in to check-out, I felt an atmosphere of genuine care. Amazing reception: I was greeted very warmly and hospitably, checked in instantly, all my questions were answered, and all requests were handled. The front desk staff are the face of the hotel, and here they are at the highest level! Cuisine and service: The restaurant offers incredibly delicious food and impeccable service. The waiters are very attentive and polite. The breakfasts are a special delight! The selection of dishes is simply fantastic, everything is fresh, appetizing, and caters to all tastes. Cleanliness: The room was in perfect condition, cleaned very well and thoroughly. The bed linen was pristine white, the room felt fresh and cozy, and had absolutely everything needed for a comfortable stay. Comment: A huge thank you to the entire hotel team for their professionalism and such wonderful hospitality. We will definitely return here again and recommend it to all our friends and acquaintances! Rating 10 out of 10.

Stayed here for 3 nights, the reception is really helpful and friendly. The room was huge, beds are comfy & breakfast spread was nice. There’s a small incident where when I checked in I asked the reception how do I use the laundry service, and he gave me wrong information which ended up they didn’t do my laundry and I was out of clean clothes. I called the reception at 7pm (the laundry is closed) and they quickly send someone to collect the laundry from me & send it back to me, cleaned the next morning at 8am. But actually the laundry service is only available 10am-6pm. Glad that they took a swift action on this matter!

I had a pleasant stay at Meridian Plaza Hotel. The location, facilities, and overall amenities were excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, there were a few housekeeping issues that could be improved. On one occasion, the trash in the bathroom was not emptied during room cleaning, and a cleaning cloth was accidentally left hanging on the door handle after housekeeping service. While these were minor issues, paying closer attention to housekeeping details would make the guest experience even better. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again.
