The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's quite nice inside. It's stylishly decorated, has a garden, and the breakfast area is also very nice.
The only downside was that there was no parking available that day.
I stayed at Van der Valk Hotel Spa during a solo trip and was very pleased with the choice. The hotel is conveniently located - right in the center of Spa, next to the thermal baths and a green park where it is pleasant to walk and relax.
The room was very cozy, clean and well-equipped. I was especially pleased with the spacious bathroom and comfortable bed - everything contributed to a comfortable stay. The hotel has a calm atmosphere, which is especially important when traveling alone.
The staff was attentive and friendly, always ready to help and answer questions. Breakfast pleased with its variety: fresh pastries, fruits, hot dishes - everything is tasty and neatly served.
For me, this place was a great point for recovery and recharge. If you are traveling alone and looking for comfort and tranquility - Van der Valk Hotel Spa is definitely worth considering. I will be happy to come back again!
Sauna was gewoon goed, zelfs extra handdoeken gekregen.
The best hotel in Liege, right? The hotel is clean and tidy with complete facilities. There is a restaurant downstairs that is always busy. There is a gym in the hotel. Although it is not big, it has all the facilities.

Our entire group stayed in this hotel for 2 to 4 nights, and other group members' rooms reported that kettles, showers, glasses, etc. were either broken or damaged. The worst part was, before I left, I asked the hotel if they could help me book a taxi on the day of check-out, because two photographers were leaving at 6am, but the hotel told me that they couldn’t. They only provided a local taxi agency number and asked me to make an international call to make the reservation myself!!! I had no choice but to ask the local tour guide to help me and the counter the day before check-out. I just think that foreign tourists ask the hotel for help because it is inconvenient. This kind of response from the hotel is hard to accept!
The room is very artistic, with an aesthetic experience for adults. The spa is also very good. The deepest and clearest swimming pool I have ever seen in Belgium. The spa is actually mainly for outdoor courses, which often occupy half of the swimming pool. Guests of this hotel need to change into swimwear and bathrobes in the room. The room service is almost zero. Even the disposable chocolates were not refilled for two days, and the water was also 200 or 250 ml Tetra Pak pillow bags. It feels like taking an Eastern Airlines flight.
Nice hostel, room comes with a sizeable personal locker that can be locked / unlocked using the room card (no lock needed), a shared kitchen and a nice lounge space at the lobby
- Too bad the rooftop is closed in October and during winter
+ Beds have privacy curtains
+ Towels and ear plugs provided free
+ Walking distance to Liege-Giullemins Station & the FlixBus Stop @Liegé Rue du Plan
+ Beside a small supermarket (Shop & Go Delhaize Guillemins) and walkable to larger supermarkets in the area (Delhaize Fragnée, ALDI, Intermarché Liège Blonden)
+ Near tram stops once it starts operating
Personal listening and sympathetic.
Stay at the Top.

AAnonymous UserLiege is very small. The hotel is in the center. Not far away is a bar street, which is very lively.
The front desk and bar counter are combined into one, and checkin is slow.
There is a parking lot next to the hotel. The hotel's exclusive parking space is on the 4th floor, and you can also park on the 7th floor, 19 euros per night.
The breakfast is very poor, with not many varieties.

TTS LAUClean, with a good restaurant that with less trouble to find things to eat, but WiFi didn’t fully covered the hotel which caused some trouble if you need to work from room.
