The Ibis Budget hotel is in a great location right opposite the Hauptbahnhof (main train station for the city). If you’re looking to go to the Bremer Freimarkt in October, it’s right behind the Hauptbahnhof so you couldn’t find a better place. The Altstadt (old town) isn’t far away either, and you can get buses, trams or taxis right outside. This isn’t a hotel for peace and quiet - there is lots going on around it and it was fairly noisy inside and out with all the hustle and bustle of city life. We booked online and I was able to check in prior to arrival which was helpful - on arrival we just picked up keys and signed the forms, and the bill was sent later by email. The room is as you’d expect - very basic but clean and tidy. Everything worked and it all looked fresh. The beds were fairly comfortable and the shower was good. Unfortunately our air conditioning didn’t seem to work properly - there seemed to be no cooling function. As a consequence the room got really hot and stuffy overnight. We couldn’t really open the door because the city outside was noisy. The other serious issue we had was returning to our room after a day out to find it had been left unlocked by the cleaners. Luckily nothing had been taken, but I was not happy. The price was reasonable and the 12pm checkout is later than many hotels. We just had to drop our keys in a box in the lobby. In summary - this hotel’s best asset is its location. If you want to be in the middle of things:l, this place is for you.

The Courtyard is located next to Bremen Hbf railway station. The comfortable hotel was built in 2010 and offers 155 rooms and 3 suites over 5 floors. Part of the hotel is the restored Lloyd building from 1913 with artifacts of the North German Lloyd and Bremen's maritime past. Staffs are friendly and correct. Our room was nicely decorated and furnished, with a very good double-bed. The room had desk & chair, fridge, TV, wardrobe with iron & ironing board, safe, airco, club-chair & table, and coffee & tea making facility. We had a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower. Free Wi-Fi Internet. Windows can be opened. All was clean. An adequate buffet breakfast is served with a good variety: scrambled eggs & bacon, boiled eggs, sausages, cold cuts, ham & cheeses, bread & toast, rolls & croissants, cereals, fruit juice, milk & yoghurts, preserves, tea & coffee. When you like to stay in an adequate town hotel, Courtyard Bremen is the place for you.

The postives: room size, terrace, quality bedding, quite varied breakfast, possible late breakfast and check-out, friendly staff, TV, free bottle of water. The negatives: · The room was 32 degrees hot when we arrived shortly after noon. There was no air conditioning. With the windows open, it only cooled down to 27.50 degrees in the evening. Have to leave windows open all night and fan on to get some sleep. In the morning we noticed that the tap of the sink was loose and skewed, the cap of the sink drain was also closed and could not be opened, so the water couldn't ran away. The make-up mirror also hung half loose. There was a lot of ****s on the terrace on the fifth floor. After reporting this to the reception and we were offered a larger room at the front of the hotel (their suite) because they couldn't fix the tap. It was slightly less warm due to its location, but still fairly warm to be able to sleep in. Also no air conditioning here, but only a fan. Of the six windows, three of the curtains at the top were broken, so the light comes in very early, already at 5:30 am, which means that you can no longer sleep well. Because this room was at the front, sleeping with the windows open was not an option due to the heavy traffic (cars, trams, emergency services). For 125 euros per night we found this a disappointment. Maintenance and inspection in general could be better, e.g. a broken coat rack, throw it away, a broken tap, replace it, broken curtains, replace them, etc...

We had a number of issues resolving the booking with the Hotel prior to our visit but this did get resolved to our satisfaction prior to visit eventually. Easy check in, room was ideal for weekend break lots of nice contemporary touches both in room and within the Hotel. Excellent breakfast included in room rate. Location is prime for a break in Bremen. Highly recommended, good value for money, the number 6 Tram to/from airport stop is approx 100 Mtrs from Hotel, making it super easy to transit without need for taxi transfer.

Decent 4 star hotel. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Totally comfortable bed… and great linen- really good quality. Breakfast is probably an area of improvement. Only one coffee machine was creating a lot of queuing. Staff was friendly, however a bit difficult with communication.

We had to check in at 15:00, 2 rooms booked, everything was payed in advance. Arriving by 15:00 they tell us that one room is ready and the other will take 30 minutes, so I went up 30 mins later and had to wait another 20 minutes, just because the supervisor saw me waiting in the hall,otherwise it would have taken longer. At the reception they just said sorry and they couldn't even explain because the english level was not to keep a conversation, only one lady could speak English well, but she couldn't be there during all my stay, ofc. We stayed 3 days for business, and because they didnt give me the room at the time I lost one meeting. Also, 2 days after the stay they came to clean the room and took one cigarette from my pack that was on the table, not difficult to remember when I had 3 left and after arriving to the room I had 2 left. The curtains had some old spots like from the last century. The rooms are super small, feels like in a cave, but ok, I'm not a princess. The cleaning is ok, I asked for one more towel because they provide 2, and never got it. The breakfast buffet is 15€ but very few options, so I recommend to cross the street and have an amazing breakfast in the bakery for 15€ per 2.

I loved my time at Best Western!! I stayed here for 8 days with my wife and son and we found the apartment large and comfortable. The location is ideal and is just a few hundred metres away from Hauptbahnoff, the main train station and there are plenty of eateries and restaurants around. There is a large REWE supermarket across the main road but beware that it's closed on Sundays. From the airport, it's a 20 minutes taxi ride to this place and will cost 20 euros. Breakfast was included in my package at an extra cost but the spread was disappointing and the menu was the same everyday. As it was Christmas time, the hotel was packed with travellers and it was also difficult finding a table in the mornings. But the staff were very friendly and warm. Bremen also has one of the best Christmas markets in Germany and its about 4 tram stops away from Best Western. But it's also easily walkable and it takes about 10 minutes.

The hotel , by the smell of the paint, has been recently renovated. We stayed in Room 304, what a great room. Loads of space , massive comfortable beds. Perfect. But not really The curtains in the room didn’t close, a big gap letting the early morning daylight stream in, waking us up. Ok , tell reception , they will sort it. They said all the right words but never followed through in actually dealing with the issue. So disappointing. The breakfast was brilliant, but when you have had little sleep you don’t get the benefit of it. Plaza are a big mob and we travel all the time in Europe , especially Germany and the Netherlands but in future we will be giving their hotels a massive bodyswerve

Our room was ready, even though it was 3 hours before check-in, with no extra fee for early check-in! The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were pretty flat, we did get extra pillows from the front desk, which helped! Big room, with 2 TV's and nice shower! Water temperature was good and the full kitchen was nice! Our 6th floor room was pretty quiet, except when we had the window open - then we could hear the street noise. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we look forward to staying at an Adagio in the future!

Air conditioning was only the circuit ventilation possible. Beds are comfortable, there is a kit per bed. As equipment is only the most necessary available. Water cooker, two cups, some well-sorted tea bags, two limestones. No glasses, even not in the bathroom, no minibar, no refrigeration and no deposit box, no closet. A small cord with dressing bars and six dressing sticks are available. If desired, you can take drinks from the machine to the reception. TV - with the usual programs is available. Breakfast is already available before 6:00 and is well sorted. Coffee from the machine was very delicious. A total of a convenient hotel, for some nights it is very practical.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Bremerhaven, haben wir das Hotel gebucht. Leider nur eine Nacht. Wir buchten in Familienzimmer mit Hund. Bekommen haben wir eine Art Suite. Es gibt zwei Zimmer, eine Doppelbett inkl. Extra Bad Im Hauptraum steht ein Schlafsofa Viele Ablage Möglichkeiten und noch ein zweites Bad mit Badewanne. Es gibt auch eine Küche inkl. Kühlschrank, dass wussten wir vorher nicht, es hat uns jedoch begeistert. Unser Hund hat eine extra Decke bekommen, ein Leckerchen und einen Trinknapf. Der Hund darf nicht mit zum Frühstück, darf jedoch ganz auf dem Zimmer bleiben. Das Frühstück war auch ausreichend und vielseitig. Da war sicher für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Für uns ganz wichtig, es gab Brötchen vom Bäcker. Für Familien wirklich ein schönes Hotel, da viel Platz im Zimmer war.

In principle, I was so far satisfied with the. Nordsee Hotel. In the first place I booked it because of the sport studio next door, that. It is in the price with it. In all the hotel has come into the years. In the first to the second night of my last stay I could not really sleep because the window was completely distant and it was loudly dragged. On the next day, I was told the housemaster can't do anything it is hold old windows. I was granted a shift to another room. The last night one of two slept with my friend at the hotel and also breakfast. Now I should pay a surcharge because I didn't book it. Ok, I said I'd let you pay me my 7-day stay in January..... there I paid seven days and seven times breakfast and was alone. I didn't work and I have to prove that I was alone. The staff member in January, I can't remember who exactly, told me that you could tell me at the next stay and then pay. Maybe he had no desire to rebook it at that time. I'd probably have been able to say it right now, but I didn't think about it anymore. Now the staffer starts to do it to me and I have to pay it now. I said I have no need at all....... Then she called her boss..... The confirmed I should prove since I was alone in January.... I find it a fairy way to treat guests like this. Clearly, a company should think economically, just the hotel can't meet the guest? Why was the guest lied with the words she could prove that alone? I'm excited tomorrow you want to meet me.

We had booked our stay directly at the hotel and thus received a significant price advantage. Our Deluxe room in the 7.Etage offered a really great view... Breakfast with a wide selection, even the dinner was delicious. Attention, table reservation recommended. Deep garage with €7/day affordable and centrally located for visitors of the climate house, shipping museum and emigrant house; all in all a relaxing stay Also all staff very friendly and premature

Firstly, congratulations to the hotel management or the owners: so engaged and friendly staff in all hotel areas are rarely found. There was a warm reception, with special wishes, which was also the best possible consideration. Breakfast was very pleasant because the team had everything in the eye. Not even the extremely rich buffet showed gaps despite the great andrang, nor remained on the tables longer used torch. And the guests were also very welcome and served. The room was clean and in a very good condition. It is also worth mentioning the cutting of the rooms (with port view) Even when the first entry of the room, the view falls through the generous window front to drive in the port. The only manco of the hotel is the very small bar area so we couldn't find a suitable place any evening with our group of five couples. We'll certainly come back and recommend the hotel also in full to friends. Full score!
