During our recent stay at the Marriott hotel Petra, we were truly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. They consistently went the extra mile to ensure our experience was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to assist. Their positive attitude and helpfulness were evident in every interaction, whether it was providing recommendations for petra attraction or promptly attending to any requests we had. Their dedication to providing top-notch service truly exceeded our expectations, making our stay at the Marriott hotel an unforgettable one. Perfect location, the entrance to Petra it’s right in front of the Hotel, the Hotel it’s beautiful, you can tell that has been just renovated so the rooms are really nice. We ate everyday at the hotel and the food was delicious especially the specialty restaurant downstairs was amazing! The service it’s really good we went everyday to the bar and we were always greeted by Muath N. the bar manager and his service was outstanding he always make us feel welcome and took care of us and our daughter who loved playing with him, he definitely made our stay more pleasant and we are forever grateful and probably the main reason why we loved more the hotel was because the service they have. Totally recommend the hotel

The hotel looks very nice. The hotel staff is very friendly! This hotel is located in a corner of slightly uphill, so even you stayed in the outdoor restaurant, you can get a very nice view to the Petra surrounded areas. In terms of location, it’s just 5 minutes drive to the Petra city entrance. And the value for money is very high for this hotel too. I highly highly recommend to other travellers!

Whoa! This place definitely exceeded our expectations. We just needed a place to stay in order to visit Petra but this camp was a whole experience in itself! We got the cave room, which was super-cool. The ambiance here was off the charts. We loved that they had a big campfire circle with comfy places to chill and smoke shisha and drink Bedouin tea. They also had a musician playing a traditional stringed instrument and singing. We arrived late and left early, so we regret that we did not get to sample the food at the camp. Mohammed, who checked us in, speaks great English and gave us helpful travel advice. We chose to rise before sunrise and do the hike to Little Petra. We were able to walk right to the camp to the trail head. You need offline maps or a guide to do the trail. It is about 14kms and takes 5-7 hours, depending on how fast you walk, how much time you spend exploring the sites along the way and weather or not you choose to chill in a cafe or restaurant along the way. The scenery (snd, of course, Petra itself) is stunning and we didn’t think the hike was too challenging. There’s a lot of stairs, but anyone who is reasonable fit should be able to do it. Might be kind of miserable on a really hot day, though. We would definitely recommend Little Petra Bedouin Camp. We just wish that we had been able to stay for two nights instead of one.

Hotel with a very good location, close to shops and restaurants. The hotel is clean and comfortable . With a very beautiful view where you can enjoy a romantic sunset . The food in the hotel is freshly prepared and delicious .The service is at an excellent level. I recommend it!

The hotel sit atop a hill overlooking the desert hills - a wonderful view, about a 10-min. drive from the Petra visitor center. All the staff we met, from the security guards, to the bellman, the front desk, the restaurant - were just SUPERB. All of them. The lobby is inviting and warm, the restaurant is spacious and with lots of sunshine. Dinner buffet had a very nice variety and decent quality, yet overpriced. Breakfast had a wonderful variety with good quality. The room was very clean, and looked like it was built last year - very well maintained. Although the building looks very new, overall, the hotel is overpriced a bit. Overall, an excellent choice for Petra.

Very nice hotel and clean rooms I spent 2 night with my wife . Free parking The best wi fi in Jordan Stuff are very nice and the manager Naji give us good information about our trip in Petra If I visit Petra again I will stay there and recommend to all of my friends

Such a warm welcome upon arrival from the man at the reception. He was full of valuable information about the town and visiting Petra with good insights and tricks to avoid being fleeced. It is a short drive from Petra itself as you'll won't want the additional steps in the heat but parking is no issue. Our room had a beautiful view across the town and the roof terrace was a per place to chill and recuperate. My son and I had some nice swims in the pool too.

This place is sort of a boutique hotel opened by locals and not one of the big chain hotels and it’s location (point 1) is slightly further away from the city centre and it’s located on the hillside and there is no way you can walk there, you definitely need a car to reach this place from Petra Visitor Center ( hence please take a cab ) but it was fine for us as we drove. The price we paid was somewhat expensive ( due to its peak season) but all the hotels nearby were on the high side. Rooms are exceptionally clean and it even smell of freshly laundered sheets, good ventilation and breakfast was decent. We had dinner here as well 20JOD for the buffet dinner per person and it was great on the weekend nights but on a weekday nights the menu offering is much limited. Staff are generally friendly but I was turn off by a cook named Ala’a who was attending the egg station during breakfast on 29 October - not only was he slow ( compared to the cook of the previous day - leading to long wait at the station despite less than 30 people in the breakfast place), he was also rude to guests who didn’t really speak English and even told them when they didn’t clearly place their orders- I was observing and it was really bad taste as he scowl at them and this is only coming from a cook at the eggs station - you need mind your customer service ettiquete especially to foreign guests who makes up most of your revenue. The least you can do is smile and not make your guests feel like feel bad about their language when they are ordering their eggs.
