Very good location and good service. The room is clean and has a kitchen and refrigerator, it does not have dishes but everything is very well equipped
The hotel is in a good safe location the staff was good the hotel is clean it is an older looking hotel by the looks of the inside there are lots of families at the location and a nice pool . I would recommend bringing your own soap as there is extremely drying .
The location is very good. There are many good restaurants and supermarkets within a few hundred meters. I especially recommend the Steakhouse across the road. It is recommended not to stay on the side of the road because it is very noisy. The other side has a nice golf course view and is quiet.
I booked this trip for a friend. The location is fairly easy to find, overall it is more affordable, and it is considered to be cheap. The location is easy to find and the service attitude is good.
Very good and convenient hotel, the front desk service is warm. As a tourist who came to Messicali for the first time, the experience was very good. The pool is also very good 😃
When I got to the room, it was clearly not cleaned. I was immediately changed to a different room, but perhaps the cleaning staff and the front desk did not work well together.
I understand that there are times when the hotel is quiet, but the front desk staff and parking attendants were sitting on the sofas in the lobby, busy playing with their smartphones and chatting.
I felt relieved that the rooms were card-keyed instead of cylinder-keyed, but I was a little worried that the rooms were structured so that the floors were accessed by stairs. The front desk staff did not seem to be keeping an eye on people entering and leaving in particular.
This was my first visit to Mexico, and I have never stayed in other hotels, so I cannot say for sure, but for some reason there was a window facing the hallway. Of course, there were blackout curtains, so the inside of the room could not be seen from the hallway, but it was a little bothersome. Maybe it was so that in the event of an emergency inside the room, the window could be broken to enter?
The room was clean and spacious for the price. Another plus point was that there were two bottles of water.
The bed was quite soft, so some people may hurt their backs.
The floors are all smooth stone, so it feels clean. However, be sure to wipe the soles of your feet after a shower. I almost slipped and fell (lol).
Maybe the room I was given was the wrong one, but it was a room facing the inside of the building, so there was no view from the window.
The location is very convenient, about one and a half blocks into a side street from Revolución Avenue. At night, all the side streets are darker and there are fewer people than Revolución Avenue, but I think the street lights in front of this hotel are brighter than other side streets. There is a 24-hour drugstore at the intersection one block from Revolución Avenue, and there were no homeless people sleeping on the street, so as long as you pay attention to other people's movements, you should have no problems in terms of security.
Overall, the stay itself was comfortable, but it felt loose in places, or the low quality was noticeable, so if they could improve that, I would feel comfortable staying here.
As December 2025, place was having some construction work. Because of this, I couldn’t use the gym (see pictures). However, the place made good impression. Nice and clean rooms. Nothing fancy, very simple inside, but large space. Only problem was that one night I heard people from upstairs, it woke me up actually. Not the best soundproofing. Location is good. Generally, I have positive experience
The reception service is good, but the facilities are old you walk into the lobby so to speak and it smells musty and dirty, the room is not as good as you imagine for the price the moldy shower keys, the walls a bit dirty scratched and apart I wanted to put hot air and it did not go out call the reception and they told me that it was not active also that the parking is not always the security ones and one has to get off to remove the cone or the chain is applied either to enter or come out the truth I do not recommend that you stay there I will not step on that hotel unless it is already remodeled the city express is much better
This is my second visit to the Quartz for medical tourism. The location is perfect in a nice part of town and the upper plaza has its own level connected to the New City Medical building and so medical offices are easily and safely accessible to guests. Pool and spa were well maintained and a beautiful garden is also out in the area. Within walking distance is a market and a ****** and little shops. Taxis are easy to find should you need.
The rooms are exceptionally clean with comfortable robes and attention to details like lighting and temperature. The staff is pleasant and there is always someone who speaks English well enough to communicate. They are friendly and helpful. There is an upscale Spa and artist feel to the place. I will be back.

GGuest UserWell, knowing that this hotel belongs to the Marriott family, it is surprisingly basic. Of course clean but with little care in the interior, the lights the way the customer is received, in general, small things make life better, and here at this Marriott could have been improved very easily. In Tijuana people travel by Uber or taxis from the hotel for many reasons, especially because of poor public transportation, thus, customers wait in the hotel lobby for their taxis, and many customers can coincide at the same time, and there is only a sofa and two armchairs (3 squeezed and 2 like Winston Churchill in single seats) and nowhere else to rest yourself or your bags. This is making the experience a bit off a sort of train station-ish platform. The breakfast is acceptable, providing all you need, but the the dinning area is very dark, badly lighted, to be honest you can’t hardly guess the time at all. The furniture there is very cheap, and doesn’t make you feel I want to read tye newspaper while having breakfast but I just want to finish and leave this 7/11 store. I am sure that I might sound a bit picky, but I am not, it is very easy to make small changes, non expensive that can improve the whole experience greatly. It is a Not a cheap place to stay, let’s remember this.
GGuest UserWe really enjoyed our stay with a few minor exceptions. Unfortunately the TV in our room didn’t work eventhough it was connected to wifi. The phone in the room didn’t work so we had to use our personal phones. The shower head is a rainfall type, but the water sprayed out in all directions instead of straight down which made it a little tricky to shower. The rooms have a system in which the room key is required to have electricity in the whole room. If you take it off, everything turns off. That means you can’t leave things charging unless you get a second key? We also were told that we could check out later the day off, but that was not an option because the hotel was so booked.
Even though there were a few icks, it was overall a nice place to stay. The staff are very friendly and respectful. The bed is comfortable, the sheets smell great, the rooms are very clean, and the building is beautiful! It has a 5ft pool and a small jacuzzi (no bubbles) just warmer water than the pool. Pool water is great temperature. There is also a spa and massage services on the very first floor! Overall a nice place and I’d recommend it!

GGuest UserGOOD: hotel is secluded and secure due to its gated parking lot distancing the hotel from public access way. It has onsite restaurant with outstanding Rib Eye steak for $20. Most staff speaks some level of English and they allow guest(s). Its located close enough to walk to night spots but far enough to get good night rest.
BAD: bed is not the greatest and linens dont cover the entire mattress. Shower has warm water, room is basic with limited channels on tv.
UGLY: gym is unsat. Everything is broken. Canvas roof is in poor state as it appears to soon collapse from rain water collection. Floors epseems always be dirty and walls between rooms are thin. Price increases during the week and overall property seems to be deteriorating.
GGuest UserBooked a premier room and was very disappointed. Room gave my and my pal respitory problems. Found a dirty cup behind the bed. No fridge in room. Very small ice bucket . Too Toooo many kids in the pool so unable to use it. Location of my room was 150 meters from the lobby. No escaltor or elevator to get to second floor rooms. The rooms all need a make over. Rooms also have dark lights . Hotel was too cheap light hotel room properly. View was AWFUl and in an inner court room!!I would NOT return to this hotel. Not worth the money!

OOctavio VenegasVery good location, clean facility, they have a kitchenette, refrigerator and microwave, you just have to bring or ask for the utensils and pans. It is located near a large shopping center, around the hotel there are several restaurants, from seafood, meats, broths and good quality. Exceeded my expectations for the price
