Old hotel with average service, it's main function is to serve as a convenient location if you have to catch an early flight. The room is comfortable, but if you book the cheaper rooms they will send you to another wing, difficult to carry heavy luggage up to the rooms as the pathway to get there from the lobby is not well arranged with steep ramps.

The hotel is in the city center, and there are many night market stalls downstairs where you can eat. The law and order here is so-so, so you still have to be more careful. Everything else is pretty good, and the service attitude of the hotel staff is particularly good. There is always a small problem, that is, there is an electric fan in the room, and there is no air conditioner.

It was a superb experience staying at this hotel. Almost everything is perfectly done and I was amazed from the front desk, the cafeteria, the rooms, breakfast services and choices of food. I experienced great hospitality comparing to other hotels nearby. I told my friends in New york and California to book at Zocalo Central hotel if they are visiting Mexico city. The centro historico is a great location where the hotel us located. See you again. Thanks Zocalo, you are amazingly one of a kind place to stay away from home.

The hotel in general is pretty good, very clean and tidy, with Mexican theme. The location is right in front of metrobus stop and near to Mexico city downtown, although the surrounding zone is not tourist, next to Tepito. The restaurant was big but for my one night stay it didn't have many available options for dinner, only two dishes. If you need something near to central bus station TAPO or airport for a short period I will recommend it.

The hotel is only across the road from the exhibition hall, which is very convenient. The surrounding office buildings are relatively concentrated and the environment is better! The hotel service staff are very polite. Highly recommended for short-term business trips.

It's not a quite nice experience living there. Can you imagine a 4-star business hotel unable to provide WIFI service during the entire SUNDAY? And the front desk said they can do nothing about that situation. Unbelievable! Besides those, it's an okay choice for biz trip.

I stayed for three nights. Before arriving, I was worried about taking the metro from the airport, so I received metrobus directions via WhatsApp. (I ended up using the metro conveniently during my stay.) The room, bed, and location were great. On two of my three nights, the water level in the shower dropped dramatically after about three minutes. (I tried to go during off-peak times.) Cleaning isn't done every day, so there were days when the shower was clogged with hair. There were mornings when the toilet was out of toilet paper. There was a refrigerator, so I put yogurt and a banana in it, but I couldn't find it by the morning of my second day. It was packed with so much stuff, it must have gone deep inside while other people were taking things in and out. I was too scared to even dig it out, so I gave up. Perhaps it's unavoidable given the high number of guests.

AAnonymous UserOne problem with all holidayinn brands is that the management of the hotel has a lot of room for improvement. When the room is cleaned every day, someone will come and knock on the door many times and ask if there is a room cleaning, which is very poor management. The location of this hotel is in a more prosperous place in the city center, the transportation is very convenient, and it is convenient to take a taxi for daily travel. It is convenient to eat around and walk safer.

AAhmed AwwadI recently stayed at the Sheraton Maria Isabel in Mexico City, and overall, it was a good experience. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location—it’s right on Reforma Avenue, next to the U.S. Embassy, so it felt very safe even though there were some peaceful demonstrations happening nearby related to rent increases and the current situation in Mexico. The room was spacious and comfortable, but it did feel a bit old and outdated. The bathroom floor had some cracks, which wasn’t a big issue but worth mentioning. It could definitely use some renovation in the future. On the bright side, the breakfast was really nice. Good variety, fresh options, and great service. If you care about being in a central, secure area with decent amenities, this hotel is a solid choice—just don’t expect a modern, freshly renovated space.

XXMGSKKThe hotel is located in the downtown area. It is very convenient to go shopping and eat nearby. There are many choices. There are many bars near the hotel. It is very convenient to stay in this location if you are traveling in Mexico City. The hotel is good overall. The facilities are not very new, but it meets the needs overall.

MM F GomezThe hotel has a fabulous location right in the middle of everything, cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel is a bit simpler than it appears in the photos, it is quite an old hotel, the staff is extremely friendly and that makes the stay better, the restaurant downstairs is delicious. It does not have air conditioning and the facilities are old. If you are going to do a visa application for the USA it is convenient for you but not for a comfortable stay.

AAnonymous UserI finished paying in advance with the app, but I said I couldn't confirm it, so I asked him to pay again, so he even confirmed the reservation number stored on his mobile phone and the contents of the payment, but he said he didn't know. After a long time, I didn't apologize for confirming that it was a trip.com app, but the room was also broken. It was replaced again soon. The room was clean and the facilities were good, but the condition was not good, so I put the temperature of the air conditioner up and fell asleep, but someone forced into the room in the middle of the night. The intruders were staff and they said they came to check because the room temperature was strange. But I know that the customer is in the room, but I was very embarrassed and scared because I broke in without any call or knock. The staff were friendly but there was no consideration for the guests at all. Hotel that I don't want to go again twice. It was less service than a 30,000 won room in Southeast Asia.

Ffapp7The location is great. Many cafes and restaurants to visit, or just to walk around and appreciate the architecture of the area. The rooftop bar looks awesome, and the gym is sufficient. Definitely a great option, especially considering that it has a little kitchen and fridge. The hotel also has a laundry/drying machine in certain floors. The check-in is a bit late (3pm); although they say if there is a room available, they will allow you to check-in earlier. Interestingly, I waited in the lobby for around 1 hour since I didn't have much to do. All people who arrive who were non-latino were given a room, all Hispanic people were asked to wait. Maybe was a coincidence? Also, be mindful that taxis are not allowed to stop in front of the hotel since it is in front of an avenue.

PPabloski 保罗Fantastic Location in Mexico City – Heart of San Ángel & Insurgentes One of the best locations to stay in Mexico City—especially if you’re visiting the vibrant areas of San Ángel and Insurgentes. You’re surrounded by tons of great restaurants and bars, and right next door is the Metropolitan Theater, which hosts events almost daily. Transportation is super convenient, with the Metrobus station just outside, connecting you to both the north and south of the city. The UNAM (Mexican National University), the stadium, and even the Chinese Embassy are all nearby—there’s just so much around. The hotel itself offers great service, cozy rooms, and an amazing staff. They even provide free shuttles, and the driver, Alberto, is fantastic—friendly and super helpful. Bonus tip: there’s an Italian restaurant downstairs with a buy-one-get-one pizza deal on Tuesdays. Don’t miss it! Highly recommended for comfort, convenience, and an unbeatable location.
