Yakushima Homestays

I stayed for ２ in October. It happened that we were the only customers due to the cancellation of the typhoon, so as soon as we came back, we prepared a bath and it was very comfortable with the friendly owner and wife. The price is reasonable and the room is shared but can be rented out. I was in a room with a toilet so there was no inconvenience. I think it's a very good inn. I would definitely recommend it if you go to Yakushima.

It is a guesthouse where you can enjoy island cuisine, and I used it when I climbed Jomonsugi. First of all, I read that the food was very delicious and used it, but I was treated to an exquisite dish that did not disappoint. The braised fish and pork were very delicious and impressive. I parked my car in the parking lot in front of the guest house, pressed the intercom at the front desk near the entrance, and called the person in charge to check in. The room was equipped with a washbasin, TV, refrigerator, mattress, hangers, and yukata, and the bath was in the large public bath. The restroom is outside the room, so I didn't have to worry about the noise. I ordered a bento the day before climbing, so they prepared a mountain climbing bento for the morning and lunch. The pillow was made of hard buckwheat husk, so I used a bath towel I had instead. During my stay at the inn, I wore the provided sandals, so my feet didn't get cold if I wore socks.

When I was looking for domestic ﾄﾚｯｷﾝｷﾞﾂｱｰ, I found a pack trip for the tour (basically, you can change your accommodation to a pension or hotel) and stayed at a guest house (Yakushiso). Our couple were mainly ﾄﾚｯｷﾝｸﾞ, so we weren't so particular about staying. The guest house was cleaned every day, the rooms, corridors, toilets, etc., and I was able to spend a comfortable time. The good thing about this homestay is that the meal content is devised every day and ｢ the meal is very delicious ｣. There is plenty of food volume (good for those who want to eat a lot). ﾄﾚｯｷﾝｸﾞ There is a perfect ”coin laundry” for the dirty things after that, and it is easy to do it when you are taking a bath. Also, it is very useful to take a bath 24 hours a day. Also, nearby (3 minutes), there are Ａ coops, bars, and restaurants where you can shop, which is very convenient. If you stretch your legs, you can go to food and bars. Even in the guest house, local specialties (fried flying fish, mackerel, etc.) were eaten at the restaurant and it was delicious. The weather was just blessed before the rainy season. (Jomon Sugi / Shiratani Unsuikyo ﾄﾚｯｷﾝｸﾞｶﾞｲﾄﾞ said that it was a good time for few people at this time.) I also went sightseeing in Yakushima and touched the nature of Yakushima, but it was a very good place. If you go, I think it's a place to take time. If we have a little bit, I would like to go again.

The B&B is right next to Miyanoura Station, which is convenient for travel. It is about 15 minutes walking distance from the pier, but probably all homestays are not too close to the pier. If you take the 7:45 fast boat to the island, you can safely catch the bus to Baigu Yunshuixia at 10:18 (this year's timetable) without wasting time. The owner friendly pointed out the location of the supermarket (otherwise it would be difficult to see) and the delicious restaurant. The homestay is relatively old, but still clean.

It is close to Miyanoura Port and on the side of the road, very easy to find. The homestay is Japanese style, using public baths and toilets. Stations, information centers, supermarkets, and various restaurants are nearby, making travel very convenient. It is also convenient to get to the attractions by car.

I think this is the kind of hospitality from the heart. It feels like I came to play at the relatives of Yakushima. It is perfect to enjoy Yakushima! The next day, Jomon Sugi trekking, the time schedule, the time of the bus, the transfer, and the way of the trekking are shown to be referenced by showing various materials I did. By the way, rice is delicious that doesn't lose to the inn around! You can enjoy the food and dishes of Yakushima. But don't worry. The pension has a bath set so you can go to the nearby hot springs. You can lend an electric car and teach you the way order carefully. You can enjoy the hot springs in Yakushima in the real sense.By the way, when you come back from Jomon Sugi trekking, if you are late, there will be no bus to connect to awa and Miyanoura. But if you come back for 10 hours, you can't get in time for such an early bus. Luana House is opposite to the port, so there is a bus to connect even a late bus! It's quite important here. Even if you get in time for the mountaineering bus, you will call a taxi if you don't get in time for the route bus. If you want to stay for about a week in this inn, you may want to stay for about a week. This time I was too busy to pack my schedule, but I would like to go to stay again. If you want to enjoy Yakushima all round, it is an inn that I would recommend!

I was a little worried because I didn't know the distance from nearby restaurants at the inn for a night stay, but I booked because the reputation of a certain travel site was very good. It was the correct answer to stay. I was prepared to move on foot because I couldn't drive the car because I would drink dinner and come back, but my husband picked me up to the tavern. The ”Tenkatsu”, which introduced us to a delicious shop, and especially the local people, was a delicious and fun tavern. Also, the breakfast was very delicious with a reputation Bento shop. There is a bar on the first floor and soft drinks such as coffee are free. Shochu is 300 yen for 1 glass. There is a massage chair. Wi-Fi was quite late in the room on the second floor and was at its own speed on the first floor. Because it was a busy period, the accommodation fee was 14,000 yen for two people. I felt that it was high because the quiet period was 8600 yen, but I actually stayed and was very satisfied with the staff's response and facilities. It is an inn that I want to repeat. Near 々, start to provide meals. I'm also looking forward to this, but I don't want you to stop picking up and dropping to the tavern (laughs).

Pension Hello is located in Yakushima and takes about 20 minute by car from Anbou Port, near Onoaida Onsen and Mocchomu Dake. It takes about 30 minute to Yakushima Airport by car. I stayed alone last time, but the private inn has a rare toilet and shower room in the room, so it is very easy to not care about the surroundings. The room has an atmosphere like staying at a relative's house. It feels like a room for someone who is not decorated in a good sense. Cop, hot water heater, refrigerator, microwave oven, knife (poor cut laughter), mana board, dryer, etc. can be used jointly. There is also a washing machine and a detergent. Since the dryer is until 22 o'clock, there is a supermarket that can be reached on foot nearby if it is impossible to meet the time of the trip, and there is a coin laundry of 24 hours next to it, so it is good to use it Maybe. Since it seems that the night stay became the basis now, there was no relationship with other guests in breakfast, etc., and it was only about greeting. It is an inn that I want to use next year again.
