Room was clean but starting to look a bit retro (and not in a good way). Complementary internet was very slow, unusable really. I'm not talking about streaming, just loading simple web pages. I ended up turning off my device wi-fi and using cell signal. Not sure if router coverage is poor or if they're dialing back speed to get guests to purchase the upgrade. Either way it isn't acceptable to me. Morning coffee: One packet for the in-room brewer and no complementary service in the lobby. I don't care about ”free” breakfast, in fact I prefer hotels without (no hockey teams staying there!), but a pot of coffee and hot water for tea doesn't seem like an unreasonable expectation. Road noise on the west side is quite noticeable, except when the loud heating system kicks in. I would have rated this hotel average if it were an average-priced property (a Fairfield, for example), but it's not. The rate was just north of $2 Benjamins per night even though occupancy was sparse. I recognize the pandemic has been hard on the hospitality industry, but cutting back on upkeep and services isn't a good way to get my return business.

Second time staying at this location. I like that it is right off the interstate and close to food/dining. Staff is friendly. The rooms have been clean each time. The hotel itself is also clean. Great place and price. I will book again.

Not to mention the 55 inch TV in the room will make you feel right at home. Our restaurant, Cedar Creek Grill, is a great place to dine. You can save your leftovers in the fridge and re-fire them up in the microwave from the comfort of your room.

I’ve been trying to find the right words to say to really express my recent experience at this hotel. It wasn’t just an average stay. I rented a hotel room as well as the meeting room in July for a celebration of life for my brother. The staff went out of their way to make it such a lovely meeting area. Kim, the sales director made a beautiful sign in his memory, Keith set up tables with plenty of room for us to set up a memorial, food, and room for guests to enjoy visiting. Serena, greeted us at the front desk and we were able to check in with ease and she recommended the easiest way for us to park and unload all our supplies for the meeting room. Later in the evening Ben helped us get checked into our hotel room. Our family and kids enjoyed relaxing and swimming between the hot tub and the pool.. it’s great they even have a kiddie pool for little ones!! Special shout out to Bonnie in the kitchen for a delicious breakfast! Pancakes, biscuits and gravy, fried potatoes, crispy bacon, and fluffy cheese omelets! She even shared her secret to the best bacon ever! I could have eaten plates full of just that! My experience is this isn’t just any hotel they treat you like family!
