I rarely leave reviews, but this place truly deserves one. The location is perfect, right at the foot of Mount Hua, just a few minutes' drive from the visitor center, and parking is convenient. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and you can see the mountain view as soon as you open the window. Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning was incredibly therapeutic. The owner even picked us up from the mountain and prepared hot water and ginger tea for us. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay with no hidden fees, offering great value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Mount Hua.

Facilities: This B&B is a real gem, and it's popular with foreign guests 🌙.
Cleanliness: Super clean! Every nook and cranny was spotless 😊.
Ambiance: I absolutely loved the vibe, my only minor gripe is that the room was a bit on the small side 🤫.
Service: The service was fantastic across the board—from the front desk staff to the cleaning crew and even the gentleman serving breakfast, everyone was great 👍.
Location: The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and the city square 🤩.
The hotel also offered complimentary coffee ☕️ and wine 🍷. Even though I couldn't enjoy them because I was with my child 🥹, I really appreciated the overall atmosphere.
In a city as historic as Xi'an, there are so many hotels, but it's nice to experience a B&B for a different kind of stay 😊👍.

Great location in the Muslim Quarter. Lots of food around, short walk to the bell tower, near the buses to the Terracotta Army, and a short subway ride to all the other main attractions. It’s down an alley, but there are a lot of signs t make to it easy to find, and it also means it’s very quiet despite being in the middle of a popular area. The owners were friendly. I visited in winter and they made sure the room was heated in advance of my arrival. It was quite cozy.

The room design was really good! We actually swapped rooms with another couple, so I got a whole big bed to myself, haha. The hotel is right inside the Muslim Quarter, which made it super convenient for eating out and sightseeing. The front desk guy also recommended a bunch of restaurants, most of them nearby, and the food was indeed delicious. I was surprised (in a good way!) that the hotel even had an elevator, and it wasn't noisy at all, so it didn't disturb our rest. Sitting on the terrace in the evening was quite pleasant. We booked a tour through the hotel, and it was actually cheaper than booking outside, plus the tour itself was great – big shoutout to the tour guide! It's a shame we were pressed for time and had to head to Lanzhou; otherwise, I would have loved to stay another night.
This is the most thoughtful guesthouse I've ever stayed in. We drove there early in the morning (parking right outside is super convenient), and the owner, a lovely lady, immediately drove us to Yuquan Temple and even gave us gloves (which were absolutely essential!). After we contacted her when we came down the mountain, she picked us up and took us back to the guesthouse. You can order food right at the guesthouse, and the menu is extensive and delicious. The room I booked had a mountain view, and the projector in the room was also great. The fourth floor is a terrace (I absolutely loved it!), and on a clear night, you can see the stars! I saw the Big Dipper for the first time. All in all, it was wonderful, and I'll definitely come back if I get the chance.

I really liked staying here! The hotel was lovely and clean, very conveniently located, and the cats are absolutely friendly and delightful.
I was very pleased with the Ancient Wall View from my room - close enough to see, but not close enough that people were looking into the room! The room itself was also perfect for me, with a comfortable bed and a very modern bathroom.
Getting in was miiiiiildly confusing, just because I didn't realise that the hotel requires walking down a tiny (clearly signposted) alley to get to the stairs - not too bad, but I had to walk past twice to realise where I was. Overall a great stay!
A big Thank You to the host (the husband, wife and son) for their hospitality and service provided during our stay. They offered to pick us to/fro the train stations and 华山旅游中心. We arrived Mingsu earlier than the check in time, the host was very kind and offered us a room to rest while our assigned room was not yet ready. She has also assisted us to get the tickets for the cable cars up and down 华山. We enjoyed our stay very much, our room was clean, quiet and comfortable with good view of the mountain. Also, the food prepared by the host is delicious and yummy, we will miss it !
It is highly recommended to stay at Jinglanshan Homestay if you come to 华山.
The price/performance ratio is really too high. This price is really worth living in such a homestay. Their home is very special. The main locomotive style is very suitable for young people. There is a terrace at the door. The river view is opposite. The panoramic view of Huashan is clear. The lobby is a cafe and there are baked snacks. And the super cheap taste is also very good, the room is very clean, the night is very quiet, the boss is warm, there is a locomotive at the door, very handsome, if it is not a tight schedule, I really want to stay a few more days.
First off, the service was almost *too* good! Before we even arrived at Mount Hua, the owner proactively called to ask about our high-speed train schedule so they could pick us up. They were also very accommodating and flexible with our timings for picking us up to go to Mount Hua, back to the guesthouse, and then to the high-speed train station.
Next, the food. For convenience, we had breakfast at the guesthouse for two days, and it was quite a revelation for us Southerners! The steamed buns with cold dishes were delicious. On the second day, we even ordered the preserved eggs with chili that we'd been craving all day – absolutely fantastic! We also had dinner there once, and it was delicious, delicious, delicious.
Finally, the room. The room was exactly as described. We originally planned to book a mountain-view room, but our itinerary changed so we didn't end up staying in one. However, our room was still very good and offered mountain views. Plus, we went up to the rooftop in the evening to watch the sunset and again in the morning for some fresh air, which was really pleasant. Oh, and the king-size bed felt like it could sleep four people, haha!
Overall, our stay here was really excellent. Great people, great rooms, great views. I feel like if I ever have the chance to come back, I'd bring my family and stay for a month to truly experience the relaxing mountain life.
(The picture is of the scenery on the road next to the guesthouse, very beautiful at dusk.)

We appreciated the location of this hotel by the south wall, where it was a lot quieter, and had the charms of small cafes and shops, small lanes and alleyways to explore and the hustle and bustle of local life such as morning market, food food options, craft beer and coffee places within a stone's throw away. Was also just a short walk from the subway to get to places beyond the wall.
The hotel itself is simply very charming. The design, interior decor and services provided is very well thought out. Service staff was courteous, we appreciated the welcome tra, lovely morning breakfast spread and nightly warm soup at bedtime, communicated to us daily via WeChat.
The room itself was perfectly designed. We were on the second floor, just by the tree tops, and we had the platform room. We loved the division of spaces, and spent many moments just seated by the bay window, watching and listening to the birds chirping away. There is also a lovely rooftop area.
There is a mosquito or two about, which is addressed quickly with the plug in mosquito repellent provided, and despite requests not to smoke, there appears to be guests who do. Not the fault of the hotel.
We were glad we didn't pack our days in Xian, cause just staying in the room itself is such a treat. Our friend tried the restaurant and room service, and raved about it. It is simply one of those spaces you are happy to come back to and just hang out at.
Highly recommended if you would like a quieter space to retreat to and love exploring books and alleys.

Very Good
SShoumiaoWe were five grown men and had a very comfortable stay. This is a B&B in the residential complex. It's beautifully decorated, quiet, and well-equipped. The floor heating was very warm, even with the windows open, it wasn't cold, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. The complex is well-managed, and it's right next to Wanda and two snack streets! There's a wide variety of food options, but eating in the room was so comfortable that we deliberately packed up for two nights and played mahjong and poker afterwards...we didn't want to go out. Transportation is very convenient, and the subway station is just a short walk away. Two of the bedrooms are small suites, one with a private bathroom, and the other two share a bathroom. Three bathrooms are definitely enough. In short, living in this large flat is really comfortable!

JJohnTingThis is more than a hotel. It is a sanctuary in the middle of bustling Xi'an.
We were always welcomed with a warm smile by the staff daily.
The hotel was tastefully designed and exuded warmth and calmness. The clever use of earthly colours and heavy accent on the usage of timber created an inviting atmosphere.
The usage of lightings to highlight certain objects while casting shadows around said objects created an impression of an art gallery.
One word to describe this hotel.... LOVELY!!!
The butler service in servicing breakfast, afternoon tea and supper was highly appreciated.
One added bonus for me was that I was able to photograph Bell Tower in peace and luxury at the top open deck.
Highly recommended this hotel for relaxation and also photographing Bell Tower

GGuest UserThe environment is good, hygienic and clean, and the service is very enthusiastic. It is very close to Xijing Hospital. The rent is not expensive and the price is high. It is very suitable for travelers with low requirements.
AAz.IzThe wonderful service started even before we booked the hotel. We got their wechat contact from Trip.com and enquired 1,001 questions. Mostly unrelated to the hotel), but all our queries were patiently and clearly answered. We decided to book the hotel due to its wonderful location.
A day before we are scheduled to arrive, we were given the exact location (best if use A-map) and clear instructions on how to get to the hotel & our room. As our flight landed after midnight at Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, the Silver Shop will be closed & we have to use the back door.
As pampered city dwellers, the place will look a bit worn out & run-down. However, their impeccable service & warm hospitality covers whatever flaws there might be. For example, it is really cold in January. The air conditioner wasn't enough for us. They gave us an extra portable one.
We went to Huashan for three days, leaving the room empty. The lady boss ensured us the room will be safe to leave our things & wished us a safe journey. She took note of when we were supposed to be back in Xi'an, even when she herself was in the flight back to her own hometown.
During our almost two weeks stay there, one day my husband fell ill and we had to stay in. I had trouble trying to order food online. The lady boss got her manager to come to our room and order food for us. Even though the manager can't speak English, he managed to help us.
The lady boss is very fluent in English. Be it in text messaging or conversing. We find that a relief because usually we get lost in translation due to us not being able to speak or read Mandarin. We can understand bits and pieces, but we are not able to fully understand it.
We were in Xi'an in Jan 2025. We were back again in Jan 2026. We plan to be back again in Jan 2027. If there is a vacancy, we want to stay here again. It snowed this year & we had fun playing with snow on the terrace. The location is wonderful. In the heart of Muslim Quarters. 2 minutes walk to Great Mosque, 10 minutes walk to Drum Tower.
Between me and my husband, the feeling is mutual. We recommend this place. No matter how run down. The location, the service, the washing machine on 6th floor with a wonderful sunset view, the terrace, the big drafty room. All these things makes us feel heavy leaving Xi'an.

Outstanding
XXiaoruoshuozaozaozaoGiven Xi'an's already reasonable prices, this B&B right across from Huaqing Pool offers incredible value for money!
The location is absolutely amazing. It's a 5-minute walk to the Huaqing Palace scenic area, and you're right there as soon as you exit A at Huaqingchi Metro Station. In the evenings, it's just an 8-minute walk to Xidajie (West Street) to explore the night market, which is packed with super lively food stalls. The room's mattress is a King Koil, and the pillows are the same memory foam ones used at Atour Hotels – once you lie down, you won't want to get up. The rooftop skylight design adds a fantastic ambiance.
The biggest surprise was the terrace. It faces directly onto the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance venue, so you don't need to buy tickets or brave the crowds; you can enjoy the entire show right from the terrace. The view is superb, though the sound is a little distant. The stay also includes afternoon tea and a ceremonial breakfast. The breakfast features local specialties, with a wide variety, and is served until 12 PM – perfect for late risers! Enjoying tea by the fire pit on the terrace is incredibly relaxing, and the snacks are delicious too.
The owner has three cats, making it pet-friendly. The location, service, and attention to detail are all impeccable. If you want to explore Huaqing Palace and see the show without dealing with crowds, this is the perfect choice!

JJiuyuemeiIt's about a 10-minute walk to the Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter, and the subway station is close by, making it easy to explore and grab food without going out of your way. There's also a convenience store nearby. The room is cozy and clean, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the air conditioning and hot water work great. It really has a local feel! The owner sent check-in instructions in advance and warmly introduced local attractions upon arrival. They even helped me call a taxi when I checked out, just like a friendly acquaintance. Absolutely great value for money! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Xi'an, and I recommend it to anyone looking for an immersive experience of the old city's vibrant atmosphere.

HHani Anak MalaysiaOnly smaller room has access to lift 🛗 bigger room is on different building and NO lift 🛗
At 12pm exactly I walk inside the hallway, to their receptionist for check in (normal check in was at 2pm actually, I missed that time frame).
I have expected that my room will have no lift, but thank goodness when the receptionist opening the door behind the counter I saw a lift and I asked about it.
He told me that not all room have access to it, and mine specifically is on different building with stairs, and I’m on the fifth floor with balcony 🫣
He kindly asked us whether we want to change our room and he also invite us to show each room available for the lift and for the other building, oh my gosh, I cannot tell you how struggling it was to climb to the fifth floor, we only managed to the 4th one to see the room, and gave up.
We chose room 5003 as it has a large windows with unobstructed view, albeit a bit smaller than what we ordered, but the lift access make it worth it.
And also if you’re on a heavier side like I am and not used to walk a lot, just bare in mind, didi are not allowed on this street, they’re motorcycles you can pay to sent you inside, but the price varies. We also only used the bicycle until their park station and has to walk inside the street another 500m +-
I tried to used taobao but my item kept on failing to deliver 😭 but thank god I can return and refund all of them.
All in all this has taught me a lesson to choose hotel that didi can drive literally up until the front entrance of the hotel. I’m not build to walk a lot 😭 and literally carrying 5kg of rice in my bagpack too along with how many litres of drinks.
But the hotel is nice, they treat us well, and very whenever I WeChat they will make sure to reply promptly.
The cleanliness can be improved, and the amenities are a little bit outdated. There’s foreign hairs from mopping I think, so we just wipe the floors with clean towel again.

RRΛCHΛTΛI stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious.
The location is a bit far from the city center, but it’s close to the Huashan scenic area, making it perfect if you plan to visit the mountain. If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful environment, this accommodation is an excellent choice.
The place feels homely and welcoming. They provide free shuttle services to the Huashan ticket office and the train station, which is very convenient. The common area on the first floor is also very relaxing.
Tip: Call the accommodation in advance to arrange a pick-up from the train station. Didi taxi drivers at the station tried to overcharge me, so the free shuttle is a much better option.
There is also a small strip mall near the Huashan ticket office with more shops and restaurants if you need anything.
