I rarely leave reviews, but this place truly deserves one. The location is perfect, right at the foot of Mount Hua, just a few minutes' drive from the visitor center, and parking is convenient. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and you can see the mountain view as soon as you open the window. Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning was incredibly therapeutic. The owner even picked us up from the mountain and prepared hot water and ginger tea for us. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay with no hidden fees, offering great value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Mount Hua.

Facilities: This B&B is a real gem, and it's popular with foreign guests 🌙. Cleanliness: Super clean! Every nook and cranny was spotless 😊. Ambiance: I absolutely loved the vibe, my only minor gripe is that the room was a bit on the small side 🤫. Service: The service was fantastic across the board—from the front desk staff to the cleaning crew and even the gentleman serving breakfast, everyone was great 👍. Location: The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and the city square 🤩. The hotel also offered complimentary coffee ☕️ and wine 🍷. Even though I couldn't enjoy them because I was with my child 🥹, I really appreciated the overall atmosphere. In a city as historic as Xi'an, there are so many hotels, but it's nice to experience a B&B for a different kind of stay 😊👍.

Great location in the Muslim Quarter. Lots of food around, short walk to the bell tower, near the buses to the Terracotta Army, and a short subway ride to all the other main attractions. It’s down an alley, but there are a lot of signs t make to it easy to find, and it also means it’s very quiet despite being in the middle of a popular area. The owners were friendly. I visited in winter and they made sure the room was heated in advance of my arrival. It was quite cozy.

The room design was really good! We actually swapped rooms with another couple, so I got a whole big bed to myself, haha. The hotel is right inside the Muslim Quarter, which made it super convenient for eating out and sightseeing. The front desk guy also recommended a bunch of restaurants, most of them nearby, and the food was indeed delicious. I was surprised (in a good way!) that the hotel even had an elevator, and it wasn't noisy at all, so it didn't disturb our rest. Sitting on the terrace in the evening was quite pleasant. We booked a tour through the hotel, and it was actually cheaper than booking outside, plus the tour itself was great – big shoutout to the tour guide! It's a shame we were pressed for time and had to head to Lanzhou; otherwise, I would have loved to stay another night.

Traveling to Xi'an, I decided to hike Mount Hua. Oddly enough, I usually book hotels, but this time I really wanted a B&B, and I wasn't disappointed – it was unexpectedly good! 1. From the moment I arrived at the train station until I climbed Mount Hua, the hostess drove us everywhere. She even provided hiking poles and gloves along the way, which was incredibly thoughtful! 2. We arrived at 11:30 AM. The owner is a trained chef, and I booked this place for the convenience of having both food and lodging. I didn't expect the food to be so delicious! The tomato and scrambled eggs had so many eggs, and everyone should try the stir-fried pork with chili – it's super appetizing! (P.S. Except for the large stewed dishes). 3. We descended from Mount Hua's North Peak, and this place was so close you could see it – less than 100 meters away. If you go up and down the North Peak, it'll be incredibly convenient. 4. 'I see the green mountains in all their beauty; I believe the green mountains see me likewise.' The room had a huge floor-to-ceiling window offering stunning green views. There's also a small patch of farmland at the foot of the mountain, creating a beautiful scene reminiscent of 'Picking chrysanthemums by the eastern fence, leisurely I gaze at the southern mountain.' In the mornings, birdsong would wake me up, and many butterflies were drawn into the yard. There were also orange cats playing in the reception area. Simply wonderful!

I really liked staying here! The hotel was lovely and clean, very conveniently located, and the cats are absolutely friendly and delightful. I was very pleased with the Ancient Wall View from my room - close enough to see, but not close enough that people were looking into the room! The room itself was also perfect for me, with a comfortable bed and a very modern bathroom. Getting in was miiiiiildly confusing, just because I didn't realise that the hotel requires walking down a tiny (clearly signposted) alley to get to the stairs - not too bad, but I had to walk past twice to realise where I was. Overall a great stay!

We had planned to travel from Xi’An to Huayin and stay a night before for our attempt the following day to hike Huashan’s North Peak to West Peak route. Jinglanshan’s owner messaged me a day before that he will pick us up from the train station. It was a very nice gesture. In fact he ferried us to and from the park entrance for our hike and also dropped us off at the train station for our return trip to Xi’An. He also helped me secure West Peak cable car tickets for our ride down the mountain (I had no success trying to buy these tickets on various online platforms) Jinglanshan homestay is located at a quiet village near the Huashan scenic area park entrance several km from the town center and Huashanbei train station. Since our main focus is hiking Huashan, we do not mind having simple meals prepared by the owner. Overall Jinglanshan homestay exceeded our expectations in terms of service and assistance.

First off, the service was almost *too* good! Before we even arrived at Mount Hua, the owner proactively called to ask about our high-speed train schedule so they could pick us up. They were also very accommodating and flexible with our timings for picking us up to go to Mount Hua, back to the guesthouse, and then to the high-speed train station. Next, the food. For convenience, we had breakfast at the guesthouse for two days, and it was quite a revelation for us Southerners! The steamed buns with cold dishes were delicious. On the second day, we even ordered the preserved eggs with chili that we'd been craving all day – absolutely fantastic! We also had dinner there once, and it was delicious, delicious, delicious. Finally, the room. The room was exactly as described. We originally planned to book a mountain-view room, but our itinerary changed so we didn't end up staying in one. However, our room was still very good and offered mountain views. Plus, we went up to the rooftop in the evening to watch the sunset and again in the morning for some fresh air, which was really pleasant. Oh, and the king-size bed felt like it could sleep four people, haha! Overall, our stay here was really excellent. Great people, great rooms, great views. I feel like if I ever have the chance to come back, I'd bring my family and stay for a month to truly experience the relaxing mountain life. This hotel is absolutely amazing! Great location, fantastic design, excellent service, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. I stayed for 6 nights, and they proactively upgraded my room type for 4 of those nights – I honestly didn't want to leave. The breakfast buffet offers a decent variety, with both Chinese and Western options, plus hand-drip coffee. The afternoon tea pastries are homemade by the restaurant, exquisite, and delicious. And the late-night snacks are superb too! Next time I'm in Xi'an, I'll definitely choose this place again and highly recommend it to any friends planning a trip there. **Amenities:** The hotel's design is top-notch, with thoughtful touches evident in both its overall exterior and internal details. The aesthetics are spot on. The facilities are new and high-quality, and they even have their own private restaurant, which is not only convenient for dining but also serves excellent food. 👍 **Cleanliness:** Every part of the hotel is meticulously clean, including the rooms, lobby, corridors, and restaurant – perfect for a traveler like me who's a bit of a clean freak. **Environment:** The location is excellent, right by the city wall and not far from the subway. Most major city attractions are within a 30-40 minute commute, and spots like the Stele Forest Museum, Wenchang Gate, and the 'Old Market' are within walking distance. There are plenty of authentic local eateries, coffee shops, and traditional morning markets nearby, yet it's very quiet and peaceful at night. **Service:** Absolutely five-star service, even better than many other five-star hotels. Everyone always has a smile. The front desk staff are mostly handsome young men – proactive, polite, and quick to respond. The restaurant waitstaff are friendly local women who are attentive and can communicate in English.
