It’s a really lovely old Japanese house, but it’s really not been made over into a guest house at all.
1. There are pictures of a bath. It is not in the hotel it is just a separate public bath you have to pay for…
2. They charge for everything including “renting” towels and yukata
3. No noise blocking at all and kids are allowed. It sounds like they are in your room
4. Contactless check in doesn’t feel very safe
I have been to Nara several times and I try a different hotel every time.
Having stayed here, I think I will stay here again when I come to Nara in the future.
As others said, there were deer outside the door in the morning, and the guy at the front desk spoke very good English.
As for parking service, you can rent it from the grocery store opposite
We had a good time at this place. Everything was very clean, the check-in was very easy and despite the thin walls (occasionally you could hear other guests use their door lock or the hotels neighbors coming home to their house) we had a good nights sleep. Would come again. Very spacious rooms compared to other Japanese hotel rooms. Bonus: there was a super clean and almost unused community kitchen with washingmachines and dryers.
The stay experience exceeded expectations! Five-star recommendation for this treasure hotel!
This stay completely refreshed my perception of business hotels! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was impressed by the hotel's modern and simple style and the warm and thoughtful service of the staff. The front desk lady smiled kindly and reminded me of the surrounding traffic routes when checking in. The details were perfect!
The room was even more surprising! The room was spacious and bright, the floor-to-ceiling windows had a wide view, and the softness of the bedding was comparable to the Simmons mattress at home. The service was really heartwarming.
Facilities: Fully equipped
Cleanliness: Very clean
Environment: Excellent, about a 10-minute walk from Nara Park
Fantastic, I even got a free drink!
Fantastic, the best hotel I've ever stayed in Kansai, bar none.
The hotel boasts an excellent location, conveniently close to Nara Kintetsu Station and surrounded by numerous restaurants offering a diverse range of food options. It's also very near Nara Park, where you can easily spot the deer with just a short walk. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the meals served were also of good quality. A minor point for improvement would be the hallway carpets, which could use more frequent cleaning. The onsen (hot spring) facilities were also excellent and very clean. However, the mineral concentration of the hot spring water felt a bit low!
The hotel is conveniently located near the station in a quiet area. You can walk to Nara Park and the nearest sights. The room had a teapot, tea, plastic glasses (which is uncomfortable), a fan, a lingerie dryer, bathrooms, lots of towels. But on the layer floor where the bed is very dusty. All the windows and curtains are in dust. Appended a photo.
The hotel is clean and hygienic, with a good surrounding environment. It is very close to the attractions (you can walk there). The hotel front desk is staffed by an old man or a grandmother, who is very friendly! But they don't speak Chinese. The 12-square-meter double room is OK.
This hotel is very good value hot spring is beautiful soup praise
The food is not very special, but the specialty restaurant dinner is good. The price of one berth and two meals is very high value.
The room is Japanese-style tatami, space is enough
GGuest UserFirst of all, the service staff is warm and thoughtful, and the attitude is amiable! Tell the precautions, the hotel is clean and hygienic, and the quilt is covered by yourself. The bathroom in the bath is particularly clean. Every guest is very conscious. Try to control yourself and not disturb others. It is really great!

HHansCoffee04Overall, I was quite satisfied, meeting my expectations. The price was relatively reasonable, and the value for money was good.
The facilities were complete, with a bathroom and shared washing machine within the B&B. Although there was only one bathroom, I didn't have to worry about long waits. There was also a kitchen available, and the overall cleanliness was excellent. The nearest bus stop is 300 meters away, so transportation and the surrounding area are acceptable. The owner is Chinese and speaks Mandarin without any issues.
Room 201 was quite small, practically covered entirely with mattresses, and only accommodated a 28-inch suitcase, though the owner had explained in advance.
Note that there are few people nearby, and most of them are elderly, so please keep your voice down both on the way and in the room.

DDan39A great stay at Nara. Value for money. Location is a bit far from the Nara station but still walkable distance. Best part is got free parking facility just in front of the house.
Perhaps the owner can consider installing a aircon unit at the sofa waiting lounge as it is a bit chilly during our stay.
GGuest UserWe extended our stay because we didn’t want to carry our luggages to the F1 race. It’s another satisfying stay. However, it can be improved by having another layer of curtains as we wanted to sleep in after the long and demanding F1 trip.
GGuest UserIt was a nice inn. I thought it was a clean and old folk house renovation type cute inn. I was sick in the middle of the night and changed my schedule and turned U the next day, but I asked for an extension of 1 time early in the morning, but I was happy to receive it, and I was worried, and I brought intestinal rectification. ..
He drove me to the station on my way home. Thank you very much.
I would like to stay again.
