This is the most chilled and cozy hostel I’ve ever stayed in.The common area is the best to relax and enjoy stunning views. You can go snorkelling just a few steps away from the hostel and the staff is amazing! The Manager took us to see the plankton at night. We also received good recommendations for food places. Dorms are not the most luxury but gives a nice jungle vibe! It really worth it staying some nights :) I hope I will come again

This hostel is 1.5 mi (2.4 km) from Independence Beach and 3.5 mi (5.7 km) from Sokha Beach.At Yellow Moon M23 Hostel, enjoy a satisfying meal at the restaurant. The hotel does not have breakfast, but there is a restaurant next to it. Three meals a day can be settled next to the restaurant, the price is not expensive on the island, it is very convenient. The room of this hotel is made of bamboo and thatched grass. Sleep, shower, toilet partition. The cleaning is pretty clean, but it is best to bring disposable sheets and other disposable toiletries. This home has no hot water, and it is acceptable to swim directly from the sea. There is a signal near the front desk of the wireless. Walking all the hotels on the island, the white sand beach and the shore at this door are the cleanest. Other hotels look better than this one, but due to direct sewage, the seaside at the door of the room is a bit difficult to go straight. The pier from Sihanoukville is the same one, walking 4 minutes from the hotel, but it is very specific to drag the luggage and walk on the beach. The front desk of the hotel is a bar. It should be fairly clean. In the New Year, some people drink alcohol until 5 in the morning. Basically, they can't sleep at night. It is too noisy. Don't care if you only want to see white sand beaches and clean sea water in the accommodation environment.

Went there yesterday for dinner. Asked a waiter for a water bottle refill, which was on the menu. I asked if the water was filtered and the young male waiter said yes yes. 10 seconds later he comes from the kitchen with my full 1,5l bottle with him. I already felt suspicious because refilled water takes longer to fill the bottle. Anyway, I dranked from the bottle and the water tasted very weird. Took a couple of sips before I decided I don't want to drink this anymore. And now, 10 hours later I have horrible diarrhea as the only one from our friend group who drank the water. The refill wasn't even on the bill, so the guy had probably no idea what he was doing. Please inform your staff, that water refill should not be taken from the tab. And thanks for the diarrhea, hope I didn't catch any parasites. Anyway the rest of my trip is ruined. Thank you really.

What to say about Mad Monkey Hostel Koh Rong…prepare yourself for the most fun you have ever had and the amazing staff who invite you to join every event and conversation. Though you should watch out for your liver there, we are absolutely amazed by the fantastic time we had there! We are absolutely gutted about leaving this beautiful and fanstastic place, but we kind of had to after an extension of a few days…Many thanks to Gen, Jimmy and Chantal (and of course the other Mad Monkeys / reps, SO to Amanda!) for the most amazing days of our trip, we are sure we can’t top this one in the rest of our travels!
