The location is very good. It is just opposite the station. There are many souvenir shops nearby. The counter also helped us upgrade to a four-person room. Although it faces the road, it is not noisy. The public space is also very comfortable.

I love the location within Ximending! Take the subway and stop at Ximen station (blue line). Take Exit 6 and just walk straight. The Wow Hostel is located just across the Mobile Police Station. There's a fruit stand before the space leading to the elevator. The hostel is on the 8th floor. I stayed in a female dormitory. Wide space. There is a locker that can also be opened using your room key. I find the toilet and bath clean. I didn't see any molds or dirty toilet. You can rent a towel for NTD 50, just leave it on your bed upon check our. The location is close to the craziness of Ximending with food and shopping options - and cafes and restaurants. The only downside for me is the receptionist. He appeared unfriendly. Every time I approached the desk, he seemed to be always irritated as he is doing something with the computer. I could be wrong but here's me wishing he'd be lighter especially that he works in a place where customer service is paramount. I would stay here again though if I come back to Taipei. I can ignore the receptionist. ;)

Fantastic location, literally right at the Formosa Boulevard Station exit. The ambiance was also very pleasant. Breakfast was included, though I regrettably slept in and missed it – a real pity! Check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is before 11 AM.

Best hostel I’ve stayed in in Taiwan! I loved the selection of skincare products and the dorms were really nice! Good common areas and great bathrooms. Very stylish. Only downside is the location. It is in the suburbs, but if you are just passing through it is a good place.

Late self-check-in is available, and the restrooms/showers are separated for men and women. There are also lockable lockers for luggage, and the beds have curtains for good privacy. The price is also very reasonable. I'll definitely stay here again.

Owl hostel was perfect for my needs! The location is perfect- right next to the pier, food street, and a bus stop. The facilities were all well maintained and clean, with many common areas and a rooftop with laundry. After sleeping in so many hostel bunks, it was also lovely to have a capsule to myself! It appeared as if my room had not been swept before I checked in, but I checked in early so that may have been my fault. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Overall a very amazing place to stay. The owners are very nice and friendly. The camping room is very cute and is very suitable for solo travelers or group travelers. Have to walk a bit to the location. Might be a bit inconvenient to walk with a lot of luggage. Will definitely stay again!

感謝有醫藥箱 可以讓我包紮傷口 感謝有衛生棉 讓提早生理期的我得救 （而且是好用的衛生棉 薄的 夠長） 感謝有小餅乾們 讓我騎往台中的早晨有體力又不佔胃 感謝讓我的腳踏車可以住在飲水機旁邊 晚上楊柳颱風的風雨經過時 我和車都在室內 覺得都很安心 床鋪好睡 捲簾很漂亮 床簾遮光度很高 床燈照度夠 而且床簾拉上的時候 床燈照出的空間很美 （雖然要自己拆枕套被套床包 但不需要自己裝真的太感謝了⋯ 有些客棧需要自己裝 騎車一天累斃的狀態下 我真的裝被套裝到覺得煩躁 早上拆是沒問題的 因為拆本來就比較簡單 又是洗好可以坐床的狀態 而且又睡飽了） 放置行李的位置是比較適合使用行李箱的客人的 單車旅行是散裝的行李 下舖只能把小包裝都放在地上的感覺有點⋯怪 希望能有架子 但空間確實是非常適合行李箱的 房間內的裝潢很美 桌椅的擺放適合交誼 也適合自己看風景發呆或做事 對外窗可以看到戶外的狀況 日出 天氣 對剛起床判斷外面狀況很有幫助 浴室有兩種 一種是浴室馬桶洗手台都在同一間 一種是對門 浴室馬桶洗手台都分開 我和遇到的另一位旅客剛好是不同的喜好 所以我們分配得很剛好 對於這樣的設計覺得貼心 希望飲水機的出水量大一點點 雖然按了連續出水之後 讓它慢慢裝就可以 但還是有一點小 更貪心的許願的話 是洗衣機QAQ 感謝以安二館 和 這裡遇到的其他旅人們 這是個讓人舒適的地方 感覺有福氣的地方～

All good 😊 I stayed at old door hostel for 3 nights and it such a good place for solo traveller. I booked 4 bed female room and it's so nice and comfortable. Bed is so soft and there's some space for your luggage between bed and curtains. It keeps you private when you want to rest. I have a good time there. Staff are so kind and supportive. Corn omelette for breakfast is good 👍

The beds in the backpacker rooms are quite large, but the room space itself is small. This is especially noticeable in the female dorms where the bathroom is adjacent; you can clearly hear the water pipes when someone turns on the shower through the wall. The pros are that it's close to the station, and there's a supermarket and a bookstore nearby. There's also a local breakfast spot nearby that's cheap and delicious.
