Guest UserOverall, it's pretty good. It's about a 7-8 minute walk to the subway station, and it's quite clean and tidy. However, there's no hot water in the private bathroom, so you have to go to the public showers on the 1st floor to bathe, and the water isn't very hot there either. There's a kitchen and lockers on the 1st floor, and you can cook your own food in the kitchen. The common lounge area is also nice. Breakfast is just okay, mostly bread.

WestopiaThis is the best hostel in Milano! Everything was amazing, very nice common area and staff, they also have a bar which is great for social. I must mention that they have a fabulous kitchen with full range of cookware, and they also have pasta, cans and some vegetable which are free to use!

NessitaI was completely surprised with this place, cleanliness was great, I stayed in the female dorm, the bathroom was impeccable! the staff was super lovely, breakfast is great for the price, the hostel itself is beautiful and has so many places to go, garden, places to work, etc. It is actually nice to stay there and I like that they have activities like ktv, live music and many more to make a great environment. Location is super convenient right next to Milano Centrale! nothing negative to say, I enjoyed my 3 night stay!

Nothing particularly noteworthy. It's a bit out of the way, an apartment building that functions half as student dorms and half as a hotel. It's good if you're driving, as parking is available, and then you can take public transport into the city center.

Guest UserThere's really nothing to complain about. The location is excellent, and it's the only hostel in Como that has air conditioning! I was so relieved. The kitchen is huge, and they even provide free vegetables and pasta. It's a bit on the expensive side, so I strategically chose to stay on a Wednesday, which was the cheapest day. Just a heads up, Thursday to Saturday rates are quite high.

Karn zhuGreat spot for a solo trip, though it was over 200 for a bed due to the Winter Olympics. Note that it's just a bed, no toiletries are provided. There's a small restaurant at the front desk with a lovely atmosphere where locals gather and chat. The transportation is decent; it's about a 15-minute walk from Bovisa station on the airport line, or you can take a direct bus to Milan Central Station.

We stayed at Central Hostel BG as a family of three adults and two children, and overall we had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent—very central and convenient for walking to nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants, which made travelling with kids much easier.
The room was clean, comfortable, and suitable for a family stay. The beds were comfortable, and the hostel was generally quiet at night, allowing everyone to rest well. The common areas were tidy and well maintained.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, especially when we needed assistance with directions and local information. We felt welcomed throughout our stay.
For families looking for affordable accommodation in a central location, Central Hostel BG is a good option. We would recommend it to families who value location, cleanliness, and friendly service.

A very satisfying stay. The air conditioning worked well. Although the room was small, it was clean and tidy. The bathroom was also very clean. Free parking was convenient (the hotel parking lot costs 7 euros, so we parked on the street outside the hotel instead, but we were told the neighborhood was safe). It was easy to get to the city center by bus and then tram, and it took about 30 minutes. There was a large supermarket near the transfer station, so we were able to do some shopping. The receptionist was very friendly, and the shared facilities were very clean.
However, some of the kitchen utensils (such as the knives) were quite worn out, so we felt a bit uncomfortable using them. Also, there was a small sharp nail or hook sticking out in the room — possibly for hanging towels. It looked quite dangerous, so I think that area should be checked.

A very central hostel, 20min walk to the central station and 20 min walk to the dueomo, quiet area, where it is nice to have a walk, and discover the streets.
Nice park nearby.
The place is decent, and nice, had a bed in a 2 person dorm which is good and comfortable, and the big bathroom is in side the room.
The employees are nice and friendly.
Very good experience.

Anonymous UserIf you’re wondering why this place has got such a low rating, I’m wondering too. I stayed one night here for transit and this hostel is huge as though they transformed a school complex into a hostel. My room was on the 3rd floor and things there are nicely renovated. The mattress and duvet cover they offer you are odourless, not the cleanest but acceptable. Inside the room everything seem decent. They have a large common room and you can see some people there working at night. If you are staying in Milan and is on budget, this place is worth the “risk” if that low rating bothers you alot. Just saying it because I am fine with anyplace as long as i can have a good night sleep. Hope this helps.
