Hostels in Veneto, Italy

This hostel is quite large, offering plenty of space for activities, but the signage isn't very clear, and I couldn't find any information detailing the layout of different areas. The bedside lamp in my bunk was broken, and there was no privacy curtain. The kitchen area was very messy, and the cups on the shelves in the cupboards were inexplicably dirty. They don't provide water or coffee, nor do they offer towels or toiletries. On the positive side, there was a Chinese receptionist who was exceptionally kind and helpful. Also, the view from the room's window was lovely for watching the sunset, and there were plenty of hooks for hanging things. The location in Mestre is quite good.

The only thing good about this hostel is location. I stayed few days there. I saw housekeeping not really done properly, room not vacuumed, shower cream not replaced, everything on the shared table in the room was dumped, even a plate! Charging point not working in most bed. Kitchen only have one microwave, 3 fridges but don’t put your things in there, because there were thieves who steal food! Check in after 7pm is a messed and chaos few days ago, or everyday I not sure. System down, people queueing not because business was too good. Was told it happened daily.

Great location. Stay okay otherwise.

Location is a bit far from city center, about 10 minutes by walking. The staff is friendly and so helpful,  There's a well equipped kitchen, plus free coffee and tea, overall, it's value for the price! 

Even though it was on the main island of Venice, I booked it because it was cheaper than other hotels, and the room was very nice! It was also helpful that the staff showed me to my room when I checked in. ✨ The breakfast was also delicious, so I recommend it! However, I couldn't figure out where to turn on the light in the bathroom, and the shower area couldn't be locked, so if you're concerned about privacy, you might want to avoid it.

Because of the financial burden, I decided to stay in a place before the station instead of the main island of Venice, but the location was close to the station, so I wasn't afraid to go alone as a woman, and there was a large mart nearby, so it was good for shopping! The facilities were clean and nice enough to make me want to stay in the hotel longer, and I was really touched when I was greeted with a handwritten welcome postcard as soon as I entered!! If I go to Venice again, I'll choose this place again!!!

It's a nice convenient hostel that is easy to reach from the train station. Breakfast is basic and has good juices and some breads. I saw parking outside, so it might be a good stopping point on a road trip.

Room and bathrooms were clean. Showers felt like not a lot of privacy offered with fogged glass separating you and everyone and everyone else in the bathroom. Common areas were fun and social. Location was not on main island Venice which meant it was challenging to get home during Italian transport strikes, with limited water bus services. Please be prepared in advance for this. Otherwise it might be more convenient to stay on main island Venice.
