Happy Nest Hostel Cebu is a good place to stay if you’re looking for something affordable and comfortable. The hostel is clean, the beds are decent, and the common areas are well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, which makes the stay more pleasant.
The location is convenient for getting around Cebu, and it’s suitable for solo travelers or backpackers. Overall, it’s a good value for money, and I would recommend it for travelers who want a simple, budget-friendly stay.

Another fabulous stay at this wonderful little hostel. Great location, with some really amazing vegetarian/vegan restaurants within a few minutes walk.
The place is super clean, and the pods are so comfortable with fresh sheets, comfy mattress and soft pillow. Hot water for showers, towels, lock for pod door, all provided by the incredibly helpful staff. Can’t sing their praises any more, absolutely wonderful.

Not just a Public hostel.
Very Clean. Slippers are provided so it lessen my baggage. You have to set an alarm or else youll be late. The black out, cool, serene place room will make you sleep like a baby 😆. Big comfort room with free use of blower, shampoo, liquid soap, and a lot of tissues. ☺ I got free drink, the cold green juice, a tea and a coffee the following day. Staff are friendly and ready to serve your request. Txs for adding value through your business.

a great hostel for those who don't want to spend the night at the airport. But what I want to warn you about is that their external door is electronically locked. To enter, you need to know the code or call a local number.
I had conflicts with my hotel bookings and end-up staying at this hostel instead. I stayed at the men’s room good for 4. We were only three during the stay. One was a foreigner from London and the other one is a Pinoy from Tacloban who was in Bohol for the international fun run and who was a loud snorer. Oh life in a hostel.
But overall, the stay is still good considering the cheap price.
The location near Dumaluan Beach is like a 10-minute walk while it's quite far from alona Beach. It's more on a quiet side compared to other hostels. The room was ok, it was clean and the bed was comfy. It's has great facilities like billiards and pool. The food was also great with big portions, staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it is recommended and value hor money.

Aside from the airconditioning system not being enough for the double rooms, it was amazing. Everything was clean and up to standard. Loved our stay and definitely recommending it to everyone.

GGuest UserThe staff was not very welcoming. The room did not match the photos, which was disappointing.I would also prefer not to receive direct emails from the chain company.
GGuest UserCheap hotel and good price. Not the most charming rooms. I kept getting bugs in my bed, and I could not tell if they were ants or bed bugs. Not very quiet neighborhood, as you can hear the road from the room. The airconditioning did not work as expected, only the bottom half of the room got cold.
KKolacatssSpacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. My room had modern tropical interiors, strong A/C, and a cozy with view of the pool. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens are clean.
GGuest UserThis is an excellent place to stay. Overall, the location is good, but walking back at night along the dark, unlit streets isn't very comfortable as the hotel is set back from the main roads. We rented a motorbike from the hotel for 350 pesos. It's generally hard to get around Moalboal without a bike; you need one to reach the beaches, waterfalls, shops, and cafes. The traffic isn't heavy and is predictable, so even a novice rider would find it comfortable. You can order breakfast or food delivery at the hotel. The room was clean, tidy, and exactly as pictured on the website; our stay was very comfortable. It has everything you need: shampoo, soap, a refrigerator, a chest of drawers, and a clothes hanger. Coffee, hot, and cold water are always available. There's a clean swimming pool on the property. The hotel owners are incredibly kind; they helped us with ferry information for leaving Oslob and how to get to Oslob by bus. Thank you so much for such a cozy place 🙏
GGuest UserThe location was good.. Near to IT Park and Ayala Mall. 7/11 is at the ground floor. Many restaurants and cafés nearby you won't get hungry. Room size is actually big and spacious for 1 person And clean . The food was good though it was limited to 3 dishes. However,
1. I stayed for 2nights and nobody cleaned up my room even though I put the sign outside the door. There was a cleaner I met at the ground floor though.
2. The bathroom hot shower is not functioning so i have to deal with the cold water in the cold room
3. The water is stocked on the floor after bath and it won't completely subside even the next days.
4. The blanket is too thin . I recommend to bring your own blanket next time
5. The aircon looks old and dirty and it was soooo noisy.
6. My room is near the elevator and 100% you'll hear the indian students/residents shouting and playing before and after riding the elevator.
7. The wifi is toooo slow and the room has limited mobile signal too. Good thing I still managed to finish my online class even though the signal was on and off.
Anyways, it was a good experience to stay in a budget hotel.
GGuest UserI had a great stay in this hotel. The only concern I had was the shower bec it’s kinda low on pressure. Hindi maganda ang distribution ng tubig so you end up using the faucet underneath it instead. Staff was very accommodating and facilities looks clean too. Thank you!
TTSFIt is located on the road going up the mountain from the center of Cebu City. The area is developing and there are high-rise apartment buildings, but there are also many very peaceful houses (if you head towards the valley from the guesthouse site, you will see many dugout huts, and although it is not a slum, you will enter an area where people with low incomes live). There is a restaurant nearby, and the food is delicious. The living room and kitchen are on the first floor (shared with the staff, so it smells good at mealtimes). The beds are perfect, there is air conditioning, and the shower has good water pressure, so I think it is the best choice for backpackers. The photo shows the road going down to the valley area mentioned above in the neighborhood. It was a Sunday when I stayed there, so I could see the residents singing karaoke.
Aainsya A.I needed a hotel for 10 hours transit between 2 international flights. The sakura capsule hotel is located in terminal 1 (domestic) of Cebu airport, around 3-5 mins walk from the international arrival. The walkway is actually an outdoor parking space between the two terminals and I felt safe walking even though it was 2 in the morning. Check in process was smooth, the staff are friendly and accommodating, there is locker to keep your shoes and luggage, their mattress was super comfortable, enough sockets / usb slots to recharge your devices, shower and toilet are clean with towel , slippers and tooth brush provided. There are also shower gel, shampoo and hair conditioner. I rested well all the way till the time to check in for my flight around 11 am (the staff also asked if I need a wake up call which I did not need but still, cool!). There is also little area for coffee and tea to refresh your morning. I would come back here without hesitation. Thank you!
GGuest UserExcellent hostel for shark spotting! It's literally right across from where the boats depart. If you contact the hotel in advance, they can likely help with booking a slot, so you won't have to wake up at 5 AM. We didn't do this on the first day, so we had to get up, but for a very small fee, they helped us with the queue (allowing us to go back to the hotel to sleep more) and then with boarding. On the second day, we decided to swim again, and this time they simply offered to book a time for us, and we got to wake up at a comfortable 7 AM. The hotel itself is very vibrant and cheerful. The beds are creaky, of course, but comfortable. All in all, for a 2-day stay, it's perfect!
GGuest UserMixed Experience at Isa-Hostel
Cons - not very helpful staff at check in, no information or orientation to the hostel (e.g., breakfast, services etc.). The door to the shared dorm room didn't work properly, no one could get in or out, so whoever was in the room would have to let people in (all through the night) or the door was often left open (as we couldn't really close it when leaving) and there are no lockers for valuables and the locked drawers offered are a bit of a joke. Located very central, which means also very loud music playing till early morning, barely slept even with earplugs in.
Pros - they take pride in keeping all areas clean, in the rooms, common areas and especially the bathrooms. Bathroom showers could use some door hooks to keep clean clothes or towels dry. The morning breakfast is simple but nice, they even accommodated me for breakfast even though I was technically too late. Centrally located.
