First time in Zhangzhou, and I felt a welcoming vibe. The hotel is located inside the ancient city, with a charming, traditional courtyard style that's perfect for taking great photos. If you're driving, you have to park in a designated parking lot (15 RMB for 24 hours) and then take a shuttle or walk to the hotel. Right outside the hotel is a lively snack street, bustling with lights and activity. I took a stroll around the ancient city at night; it wasn't too crowded, which was quite pleasant. The only downside is that they don't offer breakfast.

I compared many hotels, including several similar ones in Sanfang Qixiang, and ultimately chose 'Shuxiang Wenru'. First off, the location is incredibly convenient. It's just a few dozen meters from the entrance of Wenrufang on Tonghu Road. The hotel's main gate is truly grand and antique. Though, climbing over the high threshold was a bit of a challenge! In the lobby, you're greeted by elegant and impressive water features and a long row of bookshelves. I booked a king-size room on the third floor. Even though it's an old building, there's an elevator available. The furniture in the room has a distinct Han, Tang, and Ming dynasty style, which I absolutely loved! The toilet, shower, and vanity areas are completely separate. The bed was very comfortable, neither too soft nor too firm. I was especially pleased that the hotel was incredibly quiet at night. It's definitely a peaceful retreat in a bustling area. The breakfast offered a good taste of Fuzhou cuisine; while the variety wasn't extensive, it was refined and just right. The only thing I didn't quite like was the thin, crinkly duvet. Even though the heating was on at night, the duvet felt a bit like sleeping under advertising paper.

The hotel's location is excellent, right inside the ancient city. There are several specialty restaurants downstairs, and directly across is the pedestrian area of the ancient city.
**Cleanliness:**
The interior is also well-maintained and clean.
**Service:**
They offered a late check-out until 2 PM (subject to availability), and even provided a buggy to take me to the ancient city entrance, which was convenient for catching a taxi to the station.

This Chinese New Year, we decided to visit Fuzhou. After booking our flights, I started looking for hotels. After comparing many options, I finally settled on Mindu ME Hotel. Initially, I chose it because it was a new hotel, but once I arrived, I realized I made the perfect choice.
1) As soon as our ride-sharing car pulled up to the hotel entrance, a friendly staff member immediately opened the car door to greet us, while another helped us with our luggage inside.
2) We arrived quite early, so after check-in, our room wasn't ready yet. The staff member at the front desk warmly suggested we go explore the sights first and helped us store our luggage.
3) The hotel lobby is very grand and impressive, and since it was Chinese New Year, it was decorated quite festively.
4) As a newly opened hotel, all the facilities in the room were brand new, which was a very pleasant feeling. The TV allowed for screen mirroring from our phones, the bathroom had no strange odors, and our room even had two sinks. The shower had excellent water pressure and hot water, and the toilet was a heated, electric model. After a tiring day of sightseeing, we could even relax in the bathtub (a friendly reminder: if seniors or children are using the tub, it's best to have someone supervising).
5) Getting to the hotel is super convenient: take Metro Line 2 to Shuibu Station, use the D Southeast exit escalator (not the accessible elevator) to reach street level, turn left, make a U-turn, walk straight through two automatic sliding doors, and you're directly in the hotel lobby. It's all internal access, so even if it rains, you won't get wet. The bus stop is also very close. The hotel isn't far from popular attractions like Sanfang Qixiang, Shangxia Hang, and the Provincial Museum, all easily accessible by bus, subway, or shared bikes.
6) I didn't make it to breakfast because I slept in, but I'm sure it would have been excellent. If you order takeout, a lovely staff member delivers it to your room, so you don't have to go down to pick it up yourself (the round table in the room is very sturdy, and I brought my own tablecloth to keep it clean).
7) After checking out, a wonderful staff member, Miss Qiu, chatted with us warmly and invited us to stay again. With such a great hotel and amazing staff, I will definitely stay here again whenever I come to Fuzhou.
Wishing all the staff at Mindu ME Hotel a happy New Year and good health! Thank you for your service, see you next time!
This hotel is located by the Jiulong River, directly across from Zhangzhou Old Town. It offers the charm of the old city while providing a peaceful escape from the crowds. From the moment we arrived, we felt the staff's genuine care. The porter brought all our luggage to our room, and Zhang Jingyi at the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our room and gave us a detailed overview of the hotel's facilities. The hotel breakfast, in particular, felt just like home. Cai Chunhua from the Chinese restaurant enthusiastically introduced local delicacies like Shima Wuxiangjuan and Liuao sweet potatoes, patiently bringing each dish to our table. Guests not only get to savor unique local flavors but also learn about the food, making for a truly rewarding experience.
When the hotel first opened, I saw a video about it, so when I came to Zhangzhou this time, I chose to stay here.
Good aspects: The environment is indeed excellent, with a large footprint. The hotel as a whole is grand, and the greenery and views are very pleasant. Soundproofing is decent, and the rooms and public areas are clean. The complimentary sweet soup was delicious, and the fruit was fresh and thoughtful. No strange smells. The parking lot is spacious and clean.
Areas for improvement:
1. During check-in, the front desk was aware that three people, including one child, would be staying in the room, but they didn't ask if we needed extra toiletries, nor were any provided in the room.
2. Throughout our stay, we encountered several staff members, but surprisingly, only four of them actively greeted guests: the young man who delivered disposable cups that evening, the cleaning lady (PA) in the public restroom in the lobby the next day, the staff member in charge of the coffee machine at breakfast, and one front desk staff member during check-out. Many others we saw simply walked past us.
3. The room (5320) had insufficient power outlets. Of the few available, the one at the bar counter was not only unusable, but the entire panel was about to fall off when unplugging something. Additionally, the small desk lacked a tabletop outlet, only having one on the floor, which required crouching to use.
4. The floor of the shower stall and the outer floor were basically at the same level, and the drainage trench was shallow. When showering, water would overflow, which was a bit awkward.
5. As other guests mentioned online, the souvenir was indeed 'invisible' and required guests to ask for it. When we checked out, it was Mid-Autumn Festival, and the staff member offered a fan as a gift, which differed from what other guests reportedly received. It also had lower relevance and brand coherence.
6. The Ctrip benefits included a free Didi (ride-hailing) service to the ancient city. The front desk also knew we might go to the ancient city after checking in and were planning to take a taxi, but they did not proactively ask if we needed help arranging a car.
In summary, these are my and my husband's brief impressions after our one-day stay. Overall, for the price during the National Day holiday, the hotel offered very good value in terms of hardware services. However, for female guests hoping for certain 'soft' services in a five-star hotel, it doesn't meet the value and expectations for its price point.

The room and hot spring are satisfactory, but the spy is super rubbish
I am very satisfied with this triple room. Because it has two single beds and a double bed, it is more than enough for four people to live in, and the hotel also gave us a pick-up and breakfast/hot spring coupons for four people. The swimming pool is shallow on one side and deep on the other. There are five or six hot springs. Maybe we went late, so the hot springs are a bit dirty except for the highest temperature pool.
The only thing I am not satisfied with is the imperial spy on the first floor of the hotel! I must clear mines for everyone. The four of us returned from climbing Wuyi Mountain. There were still about two hours before the high-speed rail returned, so we returned to the Wyndham Hotel and informed the front desk of our high-speed rail time and consulted if there was a suitable foot bath. The answer was 158/person for a 50-minute foot bath, which was just the right time. I asked again if there was a foot bath for 4 people, and the answer was yes on the day. We originally planned to massage for 50 minutes and have an hour to go to Nanping High Speed Railway Station. However, the front desk took us to the Didao Foot Massage on the first floor of the hotel. The four foot massage therapists all seemed like middle-aged women working part-time. They were constipated and only came after three or five minutes. We waited for almost 20 minutes for the last foot massage therapist. They were dressed in casual clothes and did not wear uniforms. After they came, the four foot massage therapists kept chatting in the local dialect... It was very noisy. In order to ensure that we could catch the bus on time, we only massaged for 30 minutes and it was over. The spy environment felt similar to that of a beauty salon in a small county town.

The room was clean and tidy, making for a comfortable stay. The hotel's location is excellent, convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. The front desk staff and the doorman were also very friendly and helpful.
The hotel's overall style is more traditional, and the facilities aren't brand new. There's no self-service laundry, and the hairdryer is an older model, which takes a while to dry hair. Also, during peak dining hours, many guests order food delivery. With a limited number of delivery robots, you might have to wait a bit for your food to be brought to your room once it arrives. If you're in a hurry, it's something to keep in mind.

I originally wanted to book the Mindu ME Hotel, but I booked too late and it was sold out! It must be a popular spot. Fuzhou's old-established hotels like Shangri-La are a bit too old for my taste, so I settled for this one. It's not too dated and quite nice. The service was excellent too. When I checked out, they even gave me a souvenir and a fridge magnet, which was a really thoughtful and attentive touch. The hotel's location is a bit far from Sanfang Qixiang, but it's still walkable; we even walked back one night.

The shangri-la putian is conveniently located opposite a huge shopping mall and beside a garden. The room was nice and cosy and the service was attentive and impeccable, with Melvin (?) accompanying us to the room and constantly asked if we needed help with anything. All the staff were friendly and helpful and gave us many suggestions on where we could go during our stay and rarely have we experienced such excellent level of hospitality when staying at similar hotels. The river view we had was amazing. Food at shang garden was tasty, and Lydia's service was excellent, offering us extra snacks and soup. The portions served were huge and reasonably priced. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Putian!

Very Good
CChidaobaoThere was one staff member, 'Jingjing,' who particularly stood out. She was incredibly dedicated in her introductions and very good at solving problems, leaving a fantastic first impression of the hotel. When checking out, I encountered several housekeeping staff, and one lady in a black uniform was also very kind, repeatedly reminding us to call for the shuttle. I believe she might be a supervisor in that area. She even spoke Fuzhou dialect with my mother. I will definitely arrange future events here. I'm so satisfied that I wanted to write a bit more – these excellent frontline staff members are truly an asset and the management should definitely retain them.

MM516831****This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The environment is beautiful and the service is excellent. First off, the room was spotless, and the lighting was comfortable and not harsh on the eyes. The bathroom also had a great wet/dry separation, which I really appreciate. Secondly, the breakfast was varied and nutritious, and you could even pack it to go. Since I was in a hurry in the morning, I just grabbed some food to eat on the way, which was super convenient. The hotel service was also great; all the staff were welcoming with smiles, and you can even store your luggage there. Thumbs up! 👍

YYiqitiaowu~I booked the Banyuashan Hot Spring Hotel through Trip.com for my holiday, and it was absolutely worth it! From booking to check-in, the process was seamless. The front desk handled everything quickly, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The room itself was clean, tidy, and had a cozy atmosphere.
The hotel's hot spring area was truly exceptional, with over fifty unique pools. The water was crystal clear, and after a soak, I felt completely refreshed. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, both Western and Chinese, catering to all tastes. Plus, there are several attractions nearby, making it very convenient to get around. I sincerely thank Trip.com for helping me find such a fantastic hotel; I'll definitely rely on them for my next trip!

MM40184****Absolutely amazing! This hot spring hotel made our stay incredibly blissful. From the get-go, the grand design and luxurious materials earned full marks, and it's not just for show. They've genuinely put thought into the functional layout from a guest's perspective, making for a truly comfortable and relaxing experience. Whenever you think of a feature the hotel might offer, it's as if they've already anticipated your needs – the details are everywhere! Beyond the superb facilities, the service is professional and attentive. Almost any guest request is handled satisfactorily, which speaks volumes about their management. What initially drew me in was the incredible infinity sea view. I happened to wake up before sunrise and glancing out the window, I couldn't help but revel in that serene blue moment! The hotel's location and orientation are fantastic! And the room type and package we booked this time felt like incredible value for money after using them!

GGuest UserEnvironment: The environment of the hot spring hotel that ranks first is really great. From the internet-famous infinity pool to the cave hot springs in the hot spring area, they are all very photogenic and beautiful.
Service: All the stars are for the waiters in the hot spring area. Because we took a bath at night, they reminded us to pay attention to safety and handed us hot water. When we took pictures, they also gave us some light. The waiters in the locker room also prepared towels in advance. The whole process was very proactive service, which must be praised. The hotel's service is also good, but it may be a little negligent because there are few people, but it is still within an acceptable range.
Facilities: The 2-bedroom and 1-living room was upgraded. The layout and facilities are the same as the photos, but the location is really better. From the window of the room, you can see green everywhere. The oxygen ions are definitely enough. The air in the mountains can give you a good relief.
