Ocean Flower Island boasts numerous attractions, including a Ming and Qing style street, the Su Dongpo Museum, the Su Dongpo Study, yachting, and scuba diving, among others.

Let me first say, hotels are always looking for a good review, but I will only give a good review if I honestly feel they deserve it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Qixian~ the resort grounds are absolutely stunning. My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised to discover that the resort has been thoughtfully designed to feel part of the rainforest. Everywhere you look there are giant boulders, gurgling clear streams, ancient trees and hidden trails that make you feel you are walking deep in a forest. All you hear are the birds and the water rushing in the streams! We have travelled all over China, and this is the quietest, most authentic feeling nature spot we have ever experienced. In addition, there are so many hot springs you can choose to relax in, or you can use the hot spring attached to your balcony! The restaurant has a good variety and we liked everything we ordered, it was fresh and flavorful, we tried the pork ribs and braised tofu, both delicious, but the green coconut filled buns were a perfect ending! The lobby staff was friendly and helpful, and gave us all kinds of upgrades! You can get pickup on the carts anytime, but we preferred to walk and enjoy the beauty, the resort grounds feel huge, but honestly its well designed so you can reach any spot in 5-10 minutes. Also, they have all kinds of activities you can join. We really enjoyed the rainforest walk, the lady from the Li family that conducted the walk was so lovely, we could tell she really had a connection to the forest and just radiated joy as she showed us all the plants, it was one of the highlights of our stay! Our room was clean, the sheets were soft and the bed was comfortable. The view onto the palm forest was so relaxing to look at as we soaked in the spring. The infinity pool was spectacular, the setting is gorgeous and peaceful. The coconuts and dessert we ordered were really good, however, the drinks we ordered were awful and maybe they can get some more outgoing staff to work at the pool bar, maybe because it was winter time and less people are at the pool? Breakfast is served in a building that overlooks the river, there is ALL kinds of food, if you are a Westerner you can find fried eggs, toast, and pastries. But I recommend going to the area where fresh rice noodle is made for you on the spot, add toppings and fried eggs, it was delicious! There are some rustic areas to the resort- it feels a bit abandoned in areas, like its just too big to keep up with ie. Giant empty pools, some of the buildings look in desperate need of refurbishing, but overall we felt like the resort was truly beautiful and amenities really made this a great value for the price we paid. We are already planning to come back when we need a break from the city!

The room looks exactly like the pictures, truly living up to its 'Sunset Stroll' name. We booked the Sunset Stroll room, and sitting inside watching the sea was incredibly beautiful. Plus, the room gets wonderfully warm from the sun during the day. It's also super close to the beach; you're basically there the moment you step out. Our housekeeper provided exceptional service, helping with our luggage and parking the car. I even left my phone on a chair by the door, and the staff not only found it but also charged it for me – that was incredibly thoughtful. When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir gift to take home to our family. Even though they were just snacks, you could tell how much heart the owners put into it. For afternoon tea, I chose hot tea and was pleasantly surprised it was warm ginger tea. I truly commend this place; they are very attentive. Friends visiting Haikou definitely shouldn't miss this – highly recommended! It's the front-row house for sea views, the closest to the ocean, truly one of a kind.

Huge thanks to the front desk for the room upgrade! Check-in was super fast, and we got a lake-view room. The view from the sixth floor was pretty good, though the highest floor is the seventh, so it obviously can't compare to the views from higher-floor rooms. But being on a lower floor meant less wind, so it felt really warm and cozy. The hotel's public area pool is beautiful. The outdoor pool is cold water, not heated. However, the indoor heated pool makes up for it – you can swim there and then go for a hot spring dip, which is incredibly comfortable! I'd suggest increasing the frequency of maintenance for the hot spring pools; when I went, the water quality wasn't as good as I'd imagined, and the hot spring water quality isn't quite on par with places like Tengchong or Guangzhou. It's a bit stingy that guests consuming at the lobby bar still have to pay extra for the billiard table. I'd suggest changing this to a reservation-based system with a time limit; guests would probably feel better about that. Breakfast overall was decent. The live cooking stations for noodles and vermicelli were freshly prepared, and the broths were excellent. However, the soy milk and coconut milk were both watered down and flavorless, like too much water had been added, making them very bland. I hope this can be improved, because the self-service Qingbuliang (a refreshing dessert soup) loses its meaning if the coconut milk isn't good! The housekeeping staff are very diligent. For consecutive stays, it felt almost like checking into a new room every day. But as a five-star resort, shouldn't the complimentary bottled water at least be something like Nongfu Spring? This 'Ice Dew' brand is a bit much. A few extra cents in cost wouldn't hurt, right?

Amy at the reservation center was very enthusiastic and introduced the activities during the May Day holiday. Fishing and shrimping, which my little friend really likes, was very fun. Informing in advance that we can take the transfer point bus for free at the transfer station avoided a lot of embarrassment. Especially Amy was very careful to remind us to pay attention to the weather and take good sun protection. It was a very considerate service. I will come to Boao next time.

Whenever I want to eat seafood, I always like to go to Maniao. The first choice for staying is Lingao Country Garden Golden Beach. The hotel should have been opened for more than ten years. The hotel facilities are well maintained and the service level is excellent. This year, it was quite unexpected that a staff member contacted me in advance the day before check-in, and arranged a room for me in advance and upgraded it. Thank you very much. I hope that the service level can be maintained for a long time. There are not many good hotels on the west line of Hainan.

The hotel is in a very good location. The sea view room I stayed in was facing the Wanquan River estuary. The river view and the sea view were unobstructed. I could watch the bright moon over the sea at night and the sunrise in the morning on the balcony. The room was spacious and well-equipped. The housekeeper Quiet was attentive and considerate. He sent me the guide as soon as I checked in, which was very convenient for me to make arrangements. I will choose this hotel next time as time is limited.

The service at Marriott hotels is exceptional, and this particular Marriott offers an incredibly rich and diverse range of family-friendly activities. It's truly the perfect choice for parents who want to relax while their kids have a blast. Our stay with the kids at the Haikou Marriott Hotel was fantastic, completely exceeding our expectations! The hotel is steeped in beautiful Chinese aesthetics, with vermilion pillars complementing green-tiled eaves, and a charming, well-designed Chinese garden. Inside the guest rooms, Chinese furniture blends seamlessly with Oriental design, making you feel as though you're strolling through an elegant Jiangnan courtyard – the atmosphere is absolutely immersive. Our butler, Tina, was incredibly responsible throughout our stay. From guiding us through check-in and booking kids' activities to answering our inquiries, she was patient, meticulous, and always ready to help – truly thoughtful service. The parent-child activities are abundant; the indoor kids' club and the children's pool with a slide are great fun, and there are also craft sessions and bubble shows. Our kids didn't want to leave! The breakfast buffet is also super generous, featuring Chinese pastries, Hainanese specialty Hou'an rice noodle soup, Western dishes, and fresh fruits. The ingredients are fresh, and the taste is excellent, satisfying both adults and children. It's definitely a top choice for family travel!

Found a gem in Haikou! Staying at the Haikou Guobin Hotel immediately switched me into full relaxation mode, and the experience far exceeded my expectations! ✨ It boasts direct, prime ocean views of the West Coast. Waking up, opening the window reveals the clear blue sea and a gentle breeze. In the evening, a stroll along the private beach lets you chase the 'orange sea' sunset – every shot is a vibe. The hotel itself feels like a tropical botanical garden, surrounded by palm trees and bougainvillea. The lobby's high-ceiling design is incredibly grand, and the spiral staircase is perfect for photos. The guest rooms are super spacious. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows frame the ocean view like a painting, and soaking in the bathtub while looking out at the sea is incredibly therapeutic. The bedding is so soft you won't want to get out of bed. The service is attentive to the core; the front desk staff proactively helped with luggage and patiently recommended nearby attractions. If you're traveling with kids, there are tons of family-friendly activities like painting classes and playdough making, all supervised, so moms can truly relax. The dining is absolutely divine! For breakfast, the Baoluo noodles and Lingshui sour noodles are cooked fresh, and the pandan cake is perfectly sweet without being cloying. The dinner seafood buffet has an incredibly wide variety, with unlimited salmon, authentic Hainanese Zaopo vinegar, and Wenchang chicken, all paired with refreshing coconut water to cut through the richness. Away from the city's hustle and bustle, yet close to the duty-free shop and Qilou Old Street, the transportation is convenient. It's perfectly suited for both romantic getaways and family trips. Choosing this hotel was the best decision of my Haikou trip!

Shopaholics, are you ready? The duty-free shop is packed with so many amazing goods, even Apple and Huawei phones! This time, you can shop till you drop! 🛍️💸 🛌The hotel itself receives rave reviews! The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home. You can even switch rooms if you're not satisfied; the hygiene is impeccable, with clean and tidy rooms that put you in a good mood. The natural hot spring in the room offers the ultimate private bath experience; the hotel's scenery is also stunningly beautiful, with every corner being a great spot for photos! 📸🌿 🚗Transportation is incredibly convenient, making it easy to reach both the city center and surrounding attractions. This trip to Haikou was made even more perfect with the Xinyuan Hot Spring Hotel! 🌟 This is my second stay at this hotel, and I believe I won't be disappointed next time either!
