YYueguangmeiyingThe hotel is excellent. It's located just outside the main scenic area, so it's not noisy and very quiet. There's a large, free parking lot nearby, which is very convenient. The hotel's design is great, the rooms are spacious, and they even come with a scenic balcony. All the facilities are complete, and it's clean and hygienic, making for a very comfortable stay.
While it's only about a ten-minute walk to the scenic area, the hotel provides a dedicated shuttle service. This means you can enjoy a comfortable stay and save energy exploring the sights.
What's more, the hotel group also operates other guesthouses and bars within the scenic area. When you're exploring, you can visit their bar for some great photo opportunities – it's a popular spot for snapping photos of the waterfall, offering a unique perspective from across the river, opposite the official viewing platform. It's definitely worth a visit for some fantastic shots. The bar owner is incredibly enthusiastic too! The hotel had mentioned there wouldn't be a minimum spend and that we'd get complimentary tea and snacks, but the bar owner went above and beyond and even gave us an extra half-dozen beers. We're very grateful for that!
The hotel itself also has a hot spring on its sixth-floor rooftop, which is incredibly relaxing after exploring the ancient town. The butler even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of red wine, which was another unexpected bonus.
Overall, this hotel is truly excellent, offers fantastic value for money, and is highly recommended.

FflanoixThis is the most worthwhile treasure hotel to stay at when visiting Fenghuang, far better than those five-star hotels or boutique B&Bs along the Tuojiang River.
Room: We arrived very late, and the hotel upgraded our room type. The room was very comfortable, and the bedding met the usual standards of a luxury five-star hotel.
Environment: Located on a hill downstream of the ancient town, a private path leads directly to the riverside, passing by Mr. Shen Congwen's tomb. It's a quiet oasis amidst the bustling ancient town. In the morning, the downstream section of the Tuojiang River has few tourists, allowing you to enjoy the Crescent Moon Bridge scenery exclusively. By avoiding the noisy upstream area, you can truly appreciate the beauty of Fenghuang.
Hot Springs: They have genuine hot springs sourced from 1800 meters underground. Soaking in them leaves your skin silky smooth. After exploring the ancient town, a hot spring bath washes away all fatigue, leading to a comfortable night's sleep.
Parking: EV-friendly, with Tesla and Li Auto supercharging stations.
This was my return to Fenghuang after twenty years. I initially planned to book a boutique B&B in town or a five-star hotel along the river, but ultimately chose Wyndham. Throughout our stay, my partner and I kept exclaiming that choosing to stay here was the best decision.

CChunlingThis homestay has a puppy named Yunduo and a very tame little cockroach (temporarily called Xiaohei), they are very clingy, and they sleep in the sun on the bench with them. This is a homestay that can heal people. I don't want to praise their home's decoration style and service quality. It is more that I can really feel the warmth and comfort brought by being away from the noise of the city. I like this store very much, this is a store that will make me nostalgic.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near the West Gate entrance of Mangshan Scenic Area, making it easy to get in and out. For dining, there are options available near the scenic area's entrance, and the ingredients are truly excellent. The local specialty, fern powder, is delicious. We visited in spring, and the fresh mushrooms stir-fried with pork belly were incredibly flavorful. The hotel's hot springs are also a major highlight – remember to bring your swimsuit! When we were there, many Koreans were visiting and couldn't stop raving about it. It's perfect for a relaxing self-drive trip.

GGuest UserIt was the best experience! The room exceeded our expectations, we couldn’t even imagine it to be so nice. Especially, we were touched by the caring attitude of the owner! Even before we checked in he helped us to pick up our packages, everything was ready for us in advance. Also, he helped us to plan an amazing route in Zhangjiajie park and gave us a free ride to the South Gate, which is just 10 minutes close. Overall, it was very comfortable, beautiful and clean. They also make breakfast un the morning that is really cute! We felt welcomed for the whole stay, and it made our experience in Zhangjiajie unbelievable❤️ without any doubt would rate it 10/10 and strongly recommend everyone!!!

The beautiful sisters at the front desk of the hotel provided excellent and thoughtful service! Every time I passed by, I was proactive and greeted with a sweet smile. The breakfast dishes were also very rich! In summary, this is a very suitable hotel for vacation 🏖️Lie down, come here, you can get rid of all the class smell! The scenery is beautiful and pleasant, the air is fresh, the whole resort is a natural oxygen bar, the body and mind are relaxed, you can leisurely watch the sunrise and sunset in the beautiful Yunpan Mountain 🌅 The scenery is amazing! The SPA recommended by the beautiful sister at the front desk is also very good, professional Thai massage ~ and it is also a Thai technician, super satisfactory stay experience

Though not huge, the space is exquisitely decorated and incredibly soothing, with thoughtful touches everywhere that make you feel instantly relaxed upon entering. The room is spotless and tidy, with soft, warm furnishings that create a wonderful ambiance, making for a truly comfortable stay.
The massive projector is a brilliant touch; snuggling in bed at night watching a movie totally elevates the vibe and brings immense joy. The smart home system is another huge plus – voice-controlling the lights, curtains, and AC is so convenient and high-tech, greatly enhancing the overall experience.
Overall, it's warm, comfortable, and convenient, with attention to detail and a five-star experience. It's perfect for a relaxing short stay and offers fantastic value for money. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserLovely hotel! The owners are super nice and friendly, and their cooking was delicious! The views are unbeatable and there are adorable kittens on the property as well. We got upgraded rooms since we went when it wasn’t too busy, and the room was beautiful. Only downside to being in the mountains is the bugs, but that’s kinda of hard to avoid given the climate and location. Also, since it’s up the mountain, it can be a little difficult for DiDi drivers to get to, but we had no problem (a trip from the train station was about 10-15 usd / 70-100 rmb). Overall would recommend (especially their food!).

The lobby felt very upscale upon entering, and the front desk staff were welcoming. The room was clean and tidy. I'll definitely stay here again next time – highly recommended! Every detail at the hotel was excellent and made me feel very well taken care of. It was a truly pleasant stay.

GGuest UserWe visited in winter, and it happened to be snowing. Even though we arrived well past midnight, a staff member was still waiting for us and patiently answered all our questions. The next day, when our car got stuck in the village, he even went out of his way to help us find a solution. We were truly touched by their exceptional hospitality.
I can only imagine how beautiful it must be here in summer, but do keep in mind that Zhangjiajie in winter is quite cold.
