The hotel is located right within the Dongfengyun Scenic Area, and I honestly think it's the best hotel both inside and around the area! You can enter and exit the scenic area 24/7, allowing you to fully enjoy both the day and night views. During Chinese New Year, there were even light and dance shows, making the night scenery mysteriously stunning. The hotel itself is an Instagram-worthy spot with a fantastic design; every photo turns out great, so definitely set aside time to explore it slowly. There's a shuttle cart service from the hotel to the scenic area, and within the area, you can use the shuttle carts or rent a small electric scooter for a fee. I wouldn't recommend walking as it's sunny and vast, not very suitable for the elderly. **Facilities** We stayed in a suite with two rooms, and it was super spacious – easily accommodating our family of six. Snacks, drinks, and water were proactively refilled, which was a thoughtful touch. The only minor drawback was that the air conditioning wasn't cooling during Chinese New Year, so it was a bit warm during the day. We had to open the windows for ventilation to sleep. The hot spring area incurs an additional charge, so you can experience it if you wish. **Cleanliness** It was clean and tidy, with prompt housekeeping. There were no unpleasant odors, and both public areas and rooms were cleaned very promptly. Drinking water supply was unlimited and delivered to the room as needed. **Dining** The breakfast spread was rich, and the restaurant's location was superb, creating a fantastic ambiance for eating and taking photos. Lunch and dinner were on the pricier side and not very extensive, but the taste was decent. If you have time, I'd recommend heading into Mile city to try local delicacies instead. **Surroundings** It's a 10-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, but a bit far from the city center and the Mile Giant Buddha. For a day trip or two-day trip, I'd suggest booking a private car. The nearby wineries aren't particularly special, so you can skip them. The hotel itself is worth staying at for two or three days, perfect for a vacation. **Summary** High aesthetic appeal, excellent location, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommended for family trips, couples' getaways, especially for those who love taking photos, travel photography, and exploring Dongfengyun in depth!

The room is as clean and bright as in the photo. The hot spring pool and swimming pool are very good. The children can't stop playing. Easy to wash clothes. Breakfast is rich and friendly to children. Close to the airport, I often see planes flying over. The children feel cool and there is no flight at night. The environment is very quiet. Mangshi is not big. It takes ten minutes to drive from the hotel to the attractions or eat. Very cost-effective hotel is highly recommended.

Coming to Xishuangbanna in December was perfect weather-wise. On the last day of my trip, before flying back north, I decided to spend a day at the hot springs. I chose the Ganlu room, which has pure hydrogen sulfide hot springs – definitely a sulfuric smell, but after soaking, my skin felt incredibly smooth, and I slept like a baby. Besides the private bath, there are also three small public hot spring pools and one large one. The butler mentioned that this area was originally a hot spring site. In the Peacock Valley courtyard, there are about 5-6 peacocks and a little calico cat. Breakfast is complimentary, and the environment is very comfortable. The only downside is that the road to the village is quite remote; I thought I had taken a wrong turn at one point.

This was definitely the highlight of my stay. 2. **Great Ambiance & Environment:** The hotel's public areas and gardens are beautifully maintained. The lobby is grand, and a stroll through the garden is very pleasant. The rooms were also very quiet. 3. **Pleasant Amenities:** The shampoo and shower gel in the room were surprisingly good quality, exceeding my expectations – a nice little bonus. **Areas for Improvement:** 1. **Slightly Dated Facilities:** Some of the room equipment and decor definitely show their age, as mentioned in other reviews. However, this didn't affect the cleanliness. 2. **Missed Package Inclusions:** My booking clearly stated a ”RMB 398 double buffet dinner” and a ”RMB 130 voucher.” Yet, upon check-in, the front desk didn't mention these or provide any vouchers. I only received them after I proactively inquired the next day. Had I not been diligent, I would have easily missed out. I hope the hotel can proactively and clearly confirm package details during check-in to avoid inconveniencing guests. **Summary & Recommendations:** This is a hotel that truly excels in service. If excellent service, a pleasant environment, and a general resort feel are important to you, this is a good choice. However, if you are very particular about the newness of room facilities, or if you've booked a package with extra benefits, I recommend: * Lowering your expectations regarding the room's hardware. * During check-in, make sure to actively and immediately verify all items included in your package to ensure you receive your entitlements. I hope the hotel can further optimize its procedural details to make the guest experience even more seamless and perfect.

The rooms have an old-fashioned, 'cadre' style, but the outdoor environment is truly beautiful. The hotel even has swans and squirrels that you can feed. The hot spring is also very good. The service is nice, and breakfast is plentiful. If it weren't for the high price of a five-star hotel, I'd love to come and stay here for the winter. Unlimited single-person access to the Lake Spring Mid-Mountain Hot Spring, open from 9 AM to 11:30 PM, very comfortable. Service: Free shuttle bus service within the resort to and from the restaurant and hot spring.

The rooms are spacious and bright, and the front desk staff are exceptionally friendly and patient, making check-in and check-out highly efficient. The housekeeping staff are also very responsible, meticulously cleaning the rooms daily to ensure they remain spotless. The hotel also offers many thoughtful services, such as complimentary laundry service and 24-hour hot water, making the experience extremely comfortable. I would definitely stay here again next time.

This time I stayed in Mangshi because the hotel experience exceeded expectations, and the overall warmth and design. The hotel's log style is very healing, the green plants and soft decoration in the public area are exquisite, the infinity pool on the roof is facing the Yuhuan Shwedagon Pagoda, and the sunset is beautiful in the evening, and the photos are very good. The room was clean and tidy, the lighting was good, the bedding was comfortable, the bathroom was dry and wet, and the details were in place. The service is warm and intimate, the butler is gentle, free pick-up and drop-off is provided, and the tour route is also actively recommended. Breakfast has local special rice noodles and authentic taste. Convenient location, close to attractions, convenient travel. Cost-effective, is the best choice for Mangshi holiday, will choose here next time, recommend it to everyone!

The staff was enthusiastic and took the initiative to help with luggage, introduce us to local specialties, attractions, food, etc. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the night was very quiet and the bedding was very good. The hotel also had a free self-service laundry room. It was very convenient. The hot spring on the roof at night can eliminate the fatigue of the day. I choose this one for business trips here. The price is very high.

The hotel service, especially the lobby manager Sui Sui, was absolutely phenomenal! She was warm, professional, approachable, and incredibly responsive to all our requests. Plus, she's a truly beautiful young lady. We stayed for a week and had an amazing experience. The service was impeccable, and the hotel environment was great too. Its location is excellent, very close to Gaozhuang Night Market, and convenient for self-drivers with easy parking. We'll definitely stay here again next time.
