Hotel near Hamdeok/Jocheon/Gujwa,Jeju City
LOWAVE JEJU rests quietly along Hamdeok Coast in Jeju, away from bustling crowds and noisy night markets, delivering a tranquil and soothing coastal retreat. Ideally located, the property is a 1-minute walk to a secluded natural tidal flat, where guests can go tide pooling, catch small fish and wade in shallow waters to enjoy an exclusive quiet shoreline. It takes around 5 minutes by car to reach the popular Hamdeok Beach. The surrounding area boasts comprehensive amenities, including trendy cafes, authentic seafood restaurants, breakfast shops and convenience stores for easy daily needs and leisure. Short drives lead to famous attractions such as Manjanggul Cave, Gimnyeong Maze Park and Woljeongri Beach. We offer a range of refined ocean-view rooms: twin rooms, ocean-view king rooms, premium suites and the 98 sqm Executive Suite. The Executive Suite can be connected with a deluxe king room, perfect for families and group travellers. A dedicated kids’ sandpit is built in the courtyard for children to play freely. Selected rooms feature private ocean-view balconies and outdoor private hot tubs, while the Executive Suite comes with an exclusive private sauna. With light-luxury and comfortable interior design, we create a slow, relaxing seaside holiday experience for every guest in Jeju.

"Jeju Hamdeok Beach Hotel is a hidden gem!!! We spent a few days in Korea with our kids during the summer holidays and then moved to Jeju Island. As soon as we booked the hotel, a butler contacted us with details and even offered Chinese-speaking service! The entire stay was fantastic, and the butler deserves a huge thumbs up! Environment: A garden-style hotel with a hot tub and a small sandpit for kids that's shaded from the sun! It's clear the hotel owner has put a lot of thought into the design and layout! The best part is the rooftop – the view is absolutely stunning! All our Jeju Island photos were taken from this rooftop, with amazing views of the sunrise, sunset, and evening glow! Service: The hotel operates on a semi-self-service model, but since it had just opened, the owner said they could help with our luggage since it wasn't fully booked. We could also let the butler know if we needed housekeeping, and they would arrange it! Because it wasn't fully booked yet, and some areas were still under renovation, the owner upgraded us to a suite since we had a child and a lot of luggage – so lucky! [grinning face] Facilities: The entire hotel has a very high-end design; the room's hard and soft furnishings are both sophisticated and tasteful! The suite has a small induction cooker, so you can cook for your kids, which is perfect for families with children! They even provided a playpen for us knowing we had a baby, which was so thoughtful! Cleanliness: The cleanliness was excellent, and since it's a new hotel, everything was brand new – I was very satisfied! The sinks and toilets were very clean, and the showerhead had great water pressure. The hotel shampoo was also fantastic and smelled wonderful for a long time! There's a great photo spot right outside the hotel, and a little further on, there's a small beach at low tide. It's also very close to Hamdeok Beach, with tons of delicious food options. The hotel staff recommended several places, and they were all amazing! Our entire stay was wonderful. My daughter loved the hotel and even asked when we'd come back when we were leaving! We'll definitely stay here again next time!"

Service: Arrived at 12 AM Korea time, and the front desk gentleman spoke excellent Chinese, which made communication very easy. The hotel hallway was wide and smelled lovely. Even though it was fully booked, it was very quiet for sleeping, so the soundproofing seems good. Cleanliness: Housekeeping cleaned daily. There were no disposable toothbrushes, so you'll need to bring your own. The leather slippers weren't disposable either, so I'd recommend bringing your own slippers. Facilities: There's a kettle and a mini-fridge, with mineral water replenished daily. There are two Chinese-style power outlets, but the bedside outlets are Korean, so it's more convenient to bring your own adapter if you need one. Surroundings: The CU downstairs is open from 6:30 AM to 11 PM, but there's a 24-hour CU just 150 meters away. There are also 24-hour pollock soup and pork bone soup restaurants nearby. Compose Coffee is across the street. Overall, it's great, the streets are quiet, and it's easy to catch a taxi.

This is my Nth time in Jeju. I have stayed in many B&Bs and was amazed by Allegra. The environment is quiet and private, and the whole space is full of design. The room is tidy and clean, with complete facilities and great details! The host is considerate and always responds to requests. It is very comfortable to stay.

A great hotel for a vacation! The room was spacious, and the balcony offered a nice view. The hot spring water truly had mineral deposits, leaving my skin smooth and comfortable after a soak. The front desk staff were polite and enthusiastic, and there was even a Chinese-speaking butler who showed us to our room and explained the facilities in detail. Due to the underfloor heating and air conditioning, the room was quite dry in winter, but the front desk promptly responded when we requested a humidifier and bottled water. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the restaurant's view was breathtaking. The nearby Podo Museum is worth a visit. It was also easy to get a taxi to Seogwipo; an Uber arrived in about 5 minutes. If I come to Jeju Island again, I would definitely consider staying here, and I'm grateful to all the hotel staff for the excellent experience.

Quiet place with good restaurant and a small convenience store. Rooms are very nice. Outdoor jacuzzis were filthy. You have to wear a swimming cap to use the pool, even if you’re bald and have a beard (they’re very strict about that, like in most Korean hotels). This will never make sense to me. Hot springs are gender separated. Also important to know if you’re not from Asia: there is no „fun swimming“ culture. No running, jumping and splashing around. You wear a swimming cap and goggles and you swim laps. That’s it. If you’re from the western hemisphere and travel with your kids, this is new!

This is my second time staying in Seogwipo, but I've only come here! The location was great and the facilities were decent. Parking was convenient even on weekdays. The staff was friendly 👍 I was assigned to the 4th floor, and as you can see in the picture, there's only one room, but the door is in the middle, so even if someone snores, they won't be disturbed. The water pressure in the bathroom was good, too. I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in Seogwipo!
