Byoot Bay Hotel & Resort

I used this hotel for a business trip. I was there for two days in total. The first shock was when I drove up to the hotel. It was a roughly 500m long, unkempt gravel road. When I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by a really run-down hotel complex. The rooms were unacceptable. Wallpaper was torn off. The bathroom was very unkempt. The shower didn't work. There was also no toilet paper. I had to get a roll from reception. The gentlemen at reception asked me to bring me another roll. I refused and asked them not to disturb me again that evening. 15 minutes later there was a knock on the door and an employee wanted to come in. I asked him not to disturb me. A few minutes later he opened the door with a master key and came into the room. I angrily sent the gentleman out. He said something about "I don't speak English". I also didn't want to use the pool area because some of the hotel staff sat around the pool all day and made me feel uncomfortable. I also asked the restaurant manager to give me a small lunch box for the day I left because I couldn't have breakfast in the hotel. I also expressly pointed out that I can't tolerate dairy products. The next morning I wanted to leave the hotel and a member of staff was on his way to me with several full breakfast plates. There was a lot of cheese on them. Unfortunately I couldn't have breakfast that day. The hotel was a complete disappointment. The pictures on the internet promise far too much.

Mosquitoes and flies are around all day. Restaurant is full of flies. No shower gel or shampoo in the Despenser. When I called the reception, they sent someone who said "sorry, it ran out" Poor food quality compared to my last visit. Desserts are the worst ever. Food quality and quantity are super bad. Now it is set menu vs open buffet in the past. Bathrooms are dirty. Even speakers played during dinner were faulty.... Had Terrible time forced to listen to music despite asking them to keep it quiet. Simply, the day use compared to 5 stars hotels is overpriced. Damn.... What a bad day I spent there. Corridors, i can see dirts everywhere and even cats. It is not even near to be called clean.
