Overall, our stay in Fresno was fine. The breakfast lobby was spacious, and the food was good. The hotel itself was quiet.
However, there were some unexpected issues. Drove 6 hours to Fresno and we were ready to check at the designated time. Our hotel room was not ready at 3pm for check in. This was a first-time experience for us; I've never encountered a situation where a hotel room wasn't ready at the specified time. We were informed that the previous guest had a late check-out and were asked to return in 45 minutes. There was no apology or compensation offered for the inconvenience. Additionally, when we returned for check-in, I was surprised to find that we had to pay for parking. Maybe I missed the parking fee information online? This was our first experience of having to pay for overnight parking at a hotel suite. Considering our room wasn't ready at check-in time, I expected this fee to be waived or be compensated in some way, but no such offer was made. As a result, we'll explore other hotel options next time.

I travel to Fresno quite a bit and I have to say this is one of my favorite places to stay. It is quiet, the staff is friendly and helpful and the property is well maintained. I would definitely recommend this hotel for business travel as well as families.
