Great location in the city centre. However, the old wing is looking a little tired and could do with redecorating but rooms were huge! Only downside was the queen bed was saggy and not really big enough for two. Didn’t sleep well.

Great place to stay very close to the station an shops getting everywhere is very easy to get to in the city would definitely stay there again

Sir/Madam I would not advice any one to go to this hotel we arrived early, told if we wanted a room early would have to pay £10 if a room was ready why not give it out, left our luggage went and did some shopping, arrived back at the hotel was given room 309, the room smelled of dampness and it was cold, could not turn the heating on as the knob for the radiator was missing, carpet was not the cleanest, breakfast on the weekend was from 7-30 to 10-30, you had to be out of the room at 11-00 am, on the good side the bar was clean and tidy bar staff excellent. on hind side should off asked for a refund, glad we were only staying for one night. The price is reasonable, just opposite Aberdeen Railway Station. There is a supermarket open until 2300, and there is Union Square, the largest shopping mall in the area. It is very convenient. It is only 3 minutes walk to the local main streets, Union Street and Castle Street. There are century-old shops, good antiques, and mature stores. It's an old inn. If there's something wrong with the heater, I'd better use a stove to hold it up. The furniture is at least a few decades old, but it's easy to live in. At least I didn't encounter any ghosts. The breakfast, priced at 10 pounds, is quite rich. I won't lose if I play classic.

Although I was traveling alone, I was able to use a triple room. The rooms are very spacious and the hotel itself is an old building, so it feels like a mansion. Another nice feature is that it comes with a bathtub. The location was perfect, right in front of the station.

Our second time here. Still good, but the heat didn't work in our room. The receptionist seemed to believe that the heating was on a timer but was unsure of the times. When we returned at 8:30 PM and the room was still cold, the receptionist offered us a portable electric heater, which we thankfully took.It wasn't quite as good, but better than nothing.

Loved that it was steps from all the busses and the train. So polite with the service. Older building full of charm -city noises—but free ear plugs in the drawer if needed. Would stay again

The twin standard room was quite spacious with a large recently refurbished batroom with s powerful shoer over the bath.However the rest of the accommodation was very shabby and in need of complete refurbishment. The walls had marks and holes where new sockets had been fitted. The carpet was stained and was well beyond its sell by date! The wardrobe was outdated and the curtains were basic. Extras included tea and coffee, biscuits, kettle, iron and ironing board. The dining room was attractive with a wide selection of high quality breakfast dishes. I would not recommend this hotel nor would I stay again. The reviews I read and the pictures I viewed before booking certainly give a false impression.

Fantastic location for travel. Good size room, clean and met all needs. Unfortunately had 2am fire alarm (false alarm) which the hotel couldn’t help but back metal fire escape was very dark and quite scary and no one meeting or guiding you once you were out.

When I come up to visit family I always stay at the station hotel. Stay was lovely, restaurant staff were very blunt and abrupt, not really friendly or hospitable. Housekeeping staff were brill put our do not disturb sign on the handle and they left fresh towels and loo roll in a bag for us, bar staff were friendly. Ashame restaurant staff ruined it

We’ve stayed here a few times and it is consistently good. Easy check in by friendly staff. High standard of cleanliness. We had breakfast at a busy time but this was handled professionally by the dining room staff as they worked hard to keep the food topped up. Great variety and presentation of hot, tasty food. Excellent value for money.

We booked twin beds the room was needing a revamp double socket in the room only 1 was working the small light in the toilet was not working and a very small television with no sky

Brilliant location Brilliant staff the rooms were excellent even had a bath in ours no extra charge the breakfast was fantastic quality was suberb well worth the money

No complaints. Nice room, except no window, which I didn't know. Newly refurbished en suite.
