My mum and I stayed for what was a wonderful 5 nights. The first service you get is the lovely Patti meeting you and offering to take your bags to your room. She is quite simply a really lovely lady and very easy to talk to. When you are shown to the room Patti will show you where everything is and will then leave you to settle in. We spent the next 10 minutes just admiring the incredible views. Scotland in all it's glory is laid before you. We then admired what is a beautifully laid out room, with very comfortable beds, the best pillows I think I've ever slept on, and an immaculate bathroom. At breakfast the next morning we found it to be plentiful and absolutely delicious. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs were divine. And the bacon on another day was cooked to perfection. In addition to the comfort of the room, and the wonderful food, the host's knowledge of the area was very helpful. We were recommended a few places to go for dinner and to visit during our stay and all turned out to be as good as we were advised. For anyone visiting the area, who wants to see red squirrels, we would highly recommend Cluny Gardens. We were most certainly not disappointed. Mum and I would recommend this B&B to anyone heading to Scotland. It's central enough that you can visit quite a few places within a reasonable journey. Mum and I will definitely be heading up to Brae House again.

Lovely tranquil setting in the village of Aberfeldy. Our accommodation comfy and homely. Views outstanding through the valley, as the mist played on the hills as we ate our delicious Scottish breakfast. Our host could not do enough for us and we would recommend her establishment without hesitation. We will certainly return.

Definitely the place to stay in the Aberfeldy area. Patti and Jim were wonderful hosts and met all of our needs and expectations. They provided all the tips we needed to enjoy the Perthshire area. Dewar's Distillery is right down the road as well is the World's Best Chocolate! Would highly recommend the ultra quiet and comfortable Brae House

Brae House B&B run by Patti and Jim was the best B&B I've stayed in. The level of comfort was exceptional. Spotlessly clean, stylish, beautiful furnishings in the twin room, we had sole use of the guest sitting room on the first night since we were the only guests. There was an array of books and DVDs to relax with after long walks exploring Aberfeldy, The Birks and Cluny House Gardens. The bedding seemed new, the beds so comfortable, the room temperature lovely and cosy. Not only did we have a jar of mouthwatering shortbread and real coffee for the cafetiere it was topped up next day! There was an iron and ironing board in the bedroom cupboard, a hairdryer in the drawer and sea kelp body wash and moisturiser as extra touches that made it so superior. Breakfast was a feast of fresh fruit, greek yoghurt, juices and a choice of cooked scottish or scrambled eggs with salmon. Homemade bread, everything fresh and organic and served on the loveliest crockery. Just beautiful. Before arriving, Patti sent a few messages welcoming us, giving directions and offering to obtain some artisan chocolates made locally. Really, she is a fantastic host and worked so hard to make our stay special, which it was. There was parking for the car right outside. The location was a seven minute walk from the centre of Aberfeldy and a charming walk it was too. We had a pub meal in Shehallion on the first night and dinner at Ailean Chraggan the second. I loved the log fire at Ailean Chraggan, the host so friendly he offered to run us back! It was a 15-20 minute walk from Brae House and a torch is essential to see the path from the old Wade Bridge to the hotel. Very dark so you have to see and be seen. Nice to walk off the food and wine and appreciate the sights and monuments. Stunning mini break. I will certainly be back.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Brae House. Patti was a fantastic host and made me feel at home. She had wonderful suggestions for things to do in the area. The rooms were cute, clean, and very comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. It's a little bit of a walk from the town center, but a nice one. And right across the street is a little path that runs down to a very pretty river.

We loved our stay at Brae House B&B. Amazing hospitality, cleanliness, space of the room, parking accommodation also electric charge is available for those traveling with electric car, location great, breakfast was amazing as well. All suggestions Patti had for local places to have dinner were great. It felt like home away form home. Places to visit near by and not so far away are amazing, such as Blair castle and garden, or Dewar's Distillery tour, etc.

The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Our hostess was caring, helpful and knowledgeable about the area, and able to provde advice if needed. All guests dine at the same table which provided opportunities to have interesting conversations and encourages a sense of camaraderie. We would be happy to recommend Brae House to anyone visiting the area.

Recently returned from our 3rd stay at this superb guest house. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean and very comfortable with quality furnishings and great attention to detail. Very nice sitting area available, which is the perfect spot to relax and read a book or simply enjoy the beautiful view from the feature window! The little touches/extras were much appreciated. Fresh milk was offered for the tea/coffee tray in our bedroom and we were left homemade shortbread which was a delicious and welcome addition our cuppa! Breakfast was beautifully cooked/presented and we felt very well looked after by our host Patti whose home baked bread made the most delicious toast! We very much look forward to our next visit. Thank you!
