The Breadalbane Arms Room Only Hotel ★★★
"Well, there's everything you need."
Moness Resort ★★★★
"Very nice scenic, good for couples or family to relax, enjoy the nature and the sun. Restaurant’s food is in good quality. Good selection of drinks. Room was a bit old with old carpet and bed. Probably need renovation. Evaluator not working so we need to take the stairs with our luggage’s."
The Townhouse Aberfeldy - Rooms & Breakfast ★★★★
"Lovely hotel, very comfortable room / bed. Pristine clean throughout hotel. Gorgeous decor / ambience. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic service. Highly recommend."
The Kenmore Club ★★★★
"we are four guest, but supplied with 2 satchel coffee, when we asked more, we have to go head to reception to collect as they are short of staff to drop off...same as checking out, not allowed to leave door entry cards in the property and have to return the cards to reception gym is tiny...not too much facility to use... the cleaning bottle is misplaced, such as shampoo bottle is placed on handwashing place ( all of the bottles are fixed and could not moved around) ... it is ok but not very handy though generally speaking, the receptionist is polite, but you have to do the things as above due to their staff availability "
Station House - Room Only ★★★
"Great location for wandering through town, hiking in the Birks of Aberfeldy, and visiting Dewars. Clean and comfortable. The "lounge" with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and biscuits was a nice surprise!"
Mains of Taymouth Country Estate Gallops Apartments ★★★★
"Had a great couple of days stay for golf with friends. Course in cracking condition and the estate is a wonderful place to stay, with great places to eat and drink right on hand. The welcome extended to us by Beth at the estate was outstanding she really went the extra mile every day to make our stay great."
The Steading B&B ★★★★
"Beautiful steading in a fabulous location. Perfectly equipped and furnished with spectacular views over the countryside. Plenty of local restaurants and activities within a short drive…..car essential. Field of deer and stags at the bottom of the drive."
Errichel House and Cottages ★★★★
"Having only discovered that establishment was not cleaning rooms at the last minute we were reluctant to go. However as they had already pre charged us for our 3 night stay (+£400) we felt we had little choice. The location is remote but v picturesque. Rooms were ok (bathroom v modern but bedroom not as much). TV played up from start to finish. Despite it being v quiet we had lots of pre stay confusion over dinner bookings and having taken bookings for 2 nights they told us a month or so before that they were closing restaurant on those nights! We eventually sorted but....it didn't feel a great way to treat guests. When we arrived the chef/owner greeted us with his Covid financial woes! As if we needed to hear - we had a close relative who died but I wouldn't expect him to be interested in that. The waiting staff were young and v pleasant. Food was ok but steaks (at £28.95) were ordinary with boring accompaniments and Thai curry was as far away from Thailand as you could get. After night 1 dinner, we went to room and were followed up by waiter who advised that no charges could be put on room so he had card machine for us to pay at room door! Breakfast was good. However, everything felt v measured. At my request we were given new bath towels every day but bin in room lay for 3 days as did toilet etc. No cleaning products were provided to clean toilet etc even if we wanted to. As I said to co owner a hotel stay on that basis becomes more like self catering with breakfast. In my view the decision not to clean rooms just doesn't make sense as everyone ends up with a dirtier environment etc. I really think this is as much £ oriented as Covid which I fear some people will drag on for as long as possible (indeed having said to owner that I was looking forward to changes in Scottish Covid restrictions on 21 March, he advised that for them little would change)! Really! Do some businesses want to be rejuvenated or not. We have stayed at this place before but we will be trying something new in the future."
Balnearn House ★★★★
"An absolutely gorgeous stay! The room was fantastic, great bathroom, and all really clean! The owners are super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is absolutely gorgeous! If you're in or around Aberfeldy (which you should be because Aberfeldy is such an amazing place!) then highly recommend Balnearn House, it's absolutely ideal!"
