"Return to Vela Glow Pratunam Hotel during my Bangkok trip this time . The location is really great — convenient and close to shopping areas. The room was comfortable and overall stay was pleasant. However, there is currently railway construction on the main road nearby, causing very heavy traffic and congestion, especially during peak hours. Do take note if you plan to travel around by car or Grab."

"Quite hard to find at first if you are arriving in a taxi because you will have to walk a short distance to the hotel but once you are at the hotel the lobby and front of hotel is very nice. The room is spacious and has everything you need, the aircon works brilliantly and the beds are comfy. The staff members are polite and happy to help. The view from the rooftop is beautiful and it is in a good location for travellers to get either boat shuttles or if you need to get on the metro line. The only downside i can say I had from my stay at this hotel is that it can be slightly noisy at night with the rooms having thin walls so I was woken up once or twice during my stay but this is nothing a pair of earbuds can’t fix. Overall a great stay at a good price right in the heart of Bangkok, would definitely stay again."

"This place was good. First room I seen 2 cockroaches. Told the front desk. Was quickly changed to another room no issues. I extended my stay (it’s close to metro) had to change rooms. The other room was good too clean no bugs. Only problem I didn’t like is they’re trying to find you for anything. Lose room key 300baht. Clog toilet 3000 baht. Smoke in balcony 5000baht etc… if you’re ok with that it’s not bad and right next to jodd fairs"

"It's like a treasure trove hotel! The environment is serene, the photography exceeds the limit, and the design of public areas is full of sense. The room has good lighting, a wide view, and easy access to toiletries. There are a wide variety of breakfast options available, with a wide range of flavors and an overall sense of vacation. The staff is attentive and polite, and the entire check-in process was lightning free. I strongly recommend it to friends who pursue quality like me."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right in Chinatown. It's a 5-minute walk from the metro station and about a 12-minute walk to the ferry terminal. Given Bangkok's heavy traffic, having access to the metro and ferry is incredibly convenient. The rooms are comparable to economy hotels in China, with rather dated amenities. The breakfast restaurant is on the 14th floor, which is right below the rooftop, where there's a small swimming pool. However, not many guests seemed to use it. The breakfast selection was limited and, honestly, quite ordinary. Since my booking included breakfast, I just made do with what was available."

"My five-day stay at PARKROYAL Suites Bangkok was exceptional. Located in the heart of Sukhumvit, the hotel is just a five-minute walk from the Nana BTS station, making city travel incredibly easy.  The highlight was definitely the room. Staying in a One-Bedroom Suite felt like a home away from home; it was incredibly spacious, clean, and featured a fully-equipped kitchenette and a washer-dryer—perfect for a multi-day trip.  The facilities were top-notch. I started my mornings at the 24-hour gym and wound down in the afternoon by the outdoor pool and sauna on the 8th floor. While the breakfast at Spice Brasserie was solid, the real perk was the surrounding neighborhood, which is packed with diverse dining and nightlife.  For anyone looking for a blend of residential comfort and hotel luxury in Bangkok, this is a fantastic choice."

"Not far from Don Mueang International Airport, this hotel offers excellent value for money. There are many convenience stores and snack shops nearby, making it a quiet retreat despite being in a bustling area. We had a great rest. The rooms are well-equipped, and the hygiene conditions are good, with powerful air conditioning. The front desk staff are warm and lovely, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. I've stayed here before and taken photos of the rooms, but not the restaurant. So this time, I took a few pictures of the restaurant and the front desk. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for good value when catching a flight."

"For what we paid it was a great deal. They let us keep our baggage in the front til check-in time since we got there at 6am and even helped us print a form we needed. There is a ferry really close by that we used to get around too, and motorbike taxis if u wanted"

"The room was a bit small, and even though there was a balcony, smoking wasn't allowed. Breakfast was quite good. The location is about a 15-minute walk from IconSiam, but it's across the river from most major attractions. While it looks close in a straight line, taxi fares are quite expensive, costing around 200 baht to get to the main sights, which isn't very convenient. The main downsides were that the duvet always felt damp, making it uncomfortable to sleep, and the swimming pool water wasn't very clean. My child's eyes got irritated and swollen after swimming. The front desk said they didn't have any medicine and told me to go to a hospital 8km away. I felt like their service was worse than the 7-11 staff. In contrast, the young lady at the nearby 7-11 even actively helped us find a pharmacy to buy medicine. Compared to her, the hotel front desk was very perfunctory."
