Great
MMystery guestA Contemporary Urban Retreat in the Heart of Bangkok
Nestled along a quieter section of Sukhumvit Soi 20, Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Sukhumvit 20 emerges as a modern, well-appointed hotel that perfectly balances comfort, convenience, and connectivity in Bangkok’s vibrant Sukhumvit district. Opened recently and quickly gaining a reputation for quality and efficiency, this property appeals to both business and leisure travelers who want a stylish base with easy access to the city’s main attractions.
Strategic Location & Urban Access
One of the hotel’s biggest strengths is its location. Positioned a short walk from major transport links such as the Asok BTS Skytrain and Sukhumvit MRT Subway, guests can navigate Bangkok’s sprawling landscape with ease—including quick access to shopping, dining, and nightlife hubs like Terminal 21, EmQuartier, and Emporium.

Great
HHHHH_JThis time I stayed at the Mercure Bangkok Surawong and had an excellent overall experience. The value for money for Bangkok is truly outstanding.
When checking in, the front desk lady was very friendly and communication was smooth. There was absolutely no discrimination against Chinese guests, as some online reviews had suggested, which made me feel very respected. What pleased me most was that, contrary to online rumors, they didn't put Chinese guests in 'tail' rooms or corner rooms. The room they assigned me had a great location and plenty of natural light.
The room didn't look huge, but the layout was very practical and didn't feel cramped; it was comfortable to stay in. The toilet and shower were separate (wet and dry separation). I had mentioned to the hotel beforehand that it was a birthday trip, and I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I entered the room. It was decorated so thoughtfully with rose petals, a towel elephant, a small cake, and a handwritten greeting card – full of celebratory touches.
The staff also proactively helped with my luggage. Toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors were readily available upon request from the front desk, very well-stocked. I also visited the rooftop bar; it's not very big, so it's best to go early. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, it's buy-one-get-one-free on drinks, and the view is decent, you can see the King Power Mahanakhon Building.
The hotel's location is also quite convenient. It's about a 30-minute walk to Chulalongkorn University, and very close to shopping areas like Siam Paragon and Siam Park, making it easy for getting around and shopping.
I've been to Thailand five or six times and stayed in many hotels, but this one's overall performance was genuinely the best. It was clean, practical, great value for money, had attentive service, and the birthday decorations were especially thoughtful. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok. Highly recommended!

JJ.A.S.PThis is a fun and quirky place to stay. Clean and tidy with excellent customer service.
We were in the 2nd floor and our balcony did not have a view, but this did not bother us as we were either outside or just chilling indoors.
The lobby are and the rooftop bar and restaurant is a vibe on its own. I had a mocktail (mango colado - did not like it) and mago sticky rice (this I loved).
If you are wanting to go for a swim or do laundry please note this is in the building next to the 7/11 about 3mins away from the hotel. The swim/sauna is free entry, while the selfservice washing is 20bhat, and drying is 10bhat for 7 minutes. Depending on your load you may need to put more coins in until it dries. Please note it would have been nice if ghere was a clothes hanger in the balcony, with the heat the clothes can dry easily.
I also loved that we can grab order our food - so if you are on a budget and cannot afford the restaurant food (it is not that expensive though) you can look for more options on grab. However please note you will have to pin the hotel location to the front entrance as it defaults to the back entrance.
The MRT is about a 8min walk from the hotel, we struggled getting their the first day but after that it was easy enough changing from MRT to BTS....we ordered grab on days that was too hot and we did not feel like walking. Please note the MRT and BTS are cheaper when you travel longer distances.
Overall great place to stay. Clean rooms, helfull people and a wonderful experience.

GGuest UserThis has been a wonderful experience and it’s my first time writing a review! The service and everything are just perfect, we’re celebrating a special occasion and the room was decorated before our arrival. The breakfast was spectacular with a lot of options, the gym was well equipped and the pool is clean and not so busy, they also serve food and drinks by the pool!
We also tried the rooftop bar, the city view was amazing and they have a happy hour.

GGuest UserThe hotel location is convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the BTS Skytrain station. There's also a connected walkway from the second floor of the adjacent EmSphere mall, so you don't have to walk in the sun. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of food, entertainment, supermarkets, convenience stores, massage places, and malls – very convenient. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to Asok station and Terminal 21. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities and decor are a bit dated, but it's generally clean and tidy, and the service is warm and friendly.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is conveniently located near Ratchathewi MRT station, making transportation quite accessible. There's some road construction right outside, but a 7-Eleven is just a left turn away, which is handy. The hotel is clean, and the breakfast vouchers offer a good experience. Free iced water is available daily in the lobby, and there are washing machines (30 baht) and dryers (40 baht) on the 7th and 17th floors, which were reasonably clean. The front desk also offers Chinese-speaking staff, so language won't be an issue.

BbunternutGreat hotel for Bangkok Suvahanbumi easy shuttle to and from the airport. Go to arrivals gate 4 and look for a desk with hotel names tell them BS Grand and they will call for you and show you where to wait and tell you when the mini bus is coming and even take you out to it. At the hotel book with reception and pick up bus there
Rooms are modern and spacious. Two swimming pools. Restaurant and Bar. All okay. I prefer pool 2 which tends to be quiet and is surrounded by garden
Building work at the moment so the pool bar and massage was closed here as we're the toilets but a short walk to the main pool and reception
Near street markets and convenience stores and even a Thai open air night club restaurant with live music
I've been using this hotel as a quiet rest after partying and touring Thailand for some years normally for two or three days complete R and R. So I have never used the Night Club or hotel bar.
Smart TV actually works. Aircon and lights and good showers
Staff great especially the cleaners
I love the place and intend to keep on using it

DDezhengjianxiuI stayed here ten years ago when I first visited Bangkok, and it's still great! The room is huge, and it's incredibly quiet at night. There's a bus stop right downstairs, and it's not too far from the Sala Daeng BTS station. The breakfast menu changed daily, which was a nice touch, and overall it was a very comfortable stay. My only minor complaint is that they didn't change the bedsheets during my 7-day stay. The hotel is right next to the Mahanakhon Pixel Tower, and the 20th floor offers a fantastic spot for photos.

GGuest UserThe hotel building is a bit old, but since I mainly needed it for sleeping, it was acceptable for the price. The rate included breakfast.
Breakfast was quite local, mostly Thai food, very much like a rice and curry style meal. The taste wasn’t bad, and there were almost ten dishes to choose from. However, guests expecting a typical hotel style western breakfast might be disappointed.
The swimming pool was a bit dirty. My room itself was okay, but the bathroom had an unpleasant smell and the air conditioner was very loud. Luckily I’m an easy sleeper.
The service was not bad but not great either. It felt like there weren’t enough staff for the amount of work. For example, in the morning the dining area was quite messy, food wasn’t refilled, some dishes were almost empty, used plates were left on tables and overall it looked unprofessional and dirty.
On the positive side, parking is convenient. There’s a 7-11 nearby and the area is easy to get around with plenty of places to eat
MMitchelI had a very pleasant stay at Arawana Regency Park Sukhumvit during my recent visit to Bangkok. The location is excellent, situated in the Sukhumvit area and within walking distance to restaurants, convenience stores, and public transportation, making it very convenient for exploring the city.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the basic amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, and the housekeeping staff maintained the room well throughout my stay. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which allowed me to rest after a busy day in Bangkok.
The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with questions or requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, especially for travelers looking for a comfortable and well-located place in Bangkok. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip.
