KKafeijingjingOut of the three 5-star hotels on this street, I personally think this one offers the best value for money. I have to commend their laundry service; if you drop it off before 9 AM, it's ready by 5 PM, which is quite fast. All the staff provide service with a smile and speak softly, though I didn't encounter any Chinese-speaking staff. It might be because I was consistently speaking English. The staff are all very experienced and accurately anticipate guests' needs. I noticed many Chinese guests who weren't fluent in English could simply gesture, and the staff generally understood them.

CC ²The Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Sukhumvit 20 definitely has a great location, with plenty of restaurants, entertainment, and a 7-Eleven conveniently nearby. The hotel breakfast was delicious, and the 24-hour gym was perfect for someone like me who enjoys fasted cardio and late-night workouts. The room facilities were also relatively new. However, perhaps because space is at a premium in Bangkok, the rooms here at the Courtyard felt a bit smaller and more cramped compared to hotels in Pattaya. That said, after pushing the twin beds together, it formed one very large bed – perfectly spacious for sleeping with my 7-year-old without any issues!

JJ.A.S.PThis is a fun and quirky place to stay. Clean and tidy with excellent customer service. We were in the 2nd floor and our balcony did not have a view, but this did not bother us as we were either outside or just chilling indoors. The lobby are and the rooftop bar and restaurant is a vibe on its own. I had a mocktail (mango colado - did not like it) and mago sticky rice (this I loved). If you are wanting to go for a swim or do laundry please note this is in the building next to the 7/11 about 3mins away from the hotel. The swim/sauna is free entry, while the selfservice washing is 20bhat, and drying is 10bhat for 7 minutes. Depending on your load you may need to put more coins in until it dries. Please note it would have been nice if ghere was a clothes hanger in the balcony, with the heat the clothes can dry easily. I also loved that we can grab order our food - so if you are on a budget and cannot afford the restaurant food (it is not that expensive though) you can look for more options on grab. However please note you will have to pin the hotel location to the front entrance as it defaults to the back entrance. The MRT is about a 8min walk from the hotel, we struggled getting their the first day but after that it was easy enough changing from MRT to BTS....we ordered grab on days that was too hot and we did not feel like walking. Please note the MRT and BTS are cheaper when you travel longer distances. Overall great place to stay. Clean rooms, helfull people and a wonderful experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel location is convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the BTS Skytrain station. There's also a connected walkway from the second floor of the adjacent EmSphere mall, so you don't have to walk in the sun. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of food, entertainment, supermarkets, convenience stores, massage places, and malls – very convenient. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to Asok station and Terminal 21. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities and decor are a bit dated, but it's generally clean and tidy, and the service is warm and friendly.

AAnonymous UserI stayed here for four nights. Many reviews mentioned the hotel's remote and inconvenient location. It's true that it's nestled in a quiet alley within a wealthy Sukhumvit neighborhood, so the location itself isn't an issue, and it's suitable for longer stays. It's quite far from tourist attractions, and the alleys in Sukhumvit are winding and don't connect well, which can be troublesome if you're walking. However, I always took taxis, so it was fine. It's a bit of a distance from 7-Eleven. The environment and facilities are definitely up to four-star standards. The security guard was very proactive and responsible. My two points of confusion were: first, upon check-out, the front desk insisted I wait for them to inspect the room before leaving, even though I had already paid a deposit. Second, after the room was cleaned, the hand towels and floor towels were removed, and only one regular towel was left. I don't understand this practice, and in the subsequent days, fewer and fewer towels were left after cleaning.

AAnonymous UserI'm not sure if it was because I arrived in the early hours, but I was given a corner room. The window was huge, and the building opposite reflected so much light during the day, it was incredibly bright. On a sunny day, I couldn't even open the curtains because it was too dazzling. The location is near Chulalongkorn Night Market and a large shopping mall, but it's a bit far from the Grand Palace area, about a 20-minute bus ride. If your main goal is to visit the Grand Palace, I'd recommend staying closer to that area, as I ended up traveling back and forth quite a few times. There was road construction right outside, which wasn't noisy but very dirty with a lot of dust. Even late at night, there were many scooters passing by downstairs, which was a bit noisy. I stayed for two nights but only bought breakfast once, and it wasn't good. You might want to search for photos on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book) before deciding whether to eat it or not. There's a 7-Eleven nearby that has sandwiches, bread, coffee, and everything else you might need.

NNari.I recently spent several nights at the Furama Silom Hotel in Bangkok, and if you are looking for a blend of convenience, space, and local flavor, this property is a solid contender. Located on the bustling Silom Road, the hotel stands as a prominent choice for both leisure travelers and business professionals who want to be in the thick of Bangkok’s financial and nightlife district. Spacious Living in a Prime Location The first thing that struck me about Furama Silom is the sheer size of the rooms. In a city where many modern hotels are trending toward compact ”minimalist” spaces, Furama offers an expansive environment. My room was bright, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that provided a fantastic view of the city skyline. The inclusion of a kitchenette was a thoughtful touch, making it feel more like an apartment than a standard hotel room. The location is undoubtedly the hotel's strongest selling point. It is roughly a 10-minute walk to both the Saint Louis and Chong Nonsi BTS stations, making the rest of the city easily accessible. For those who enjoy exploring on foot, the famous Patpong Night Market, the historic Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, and a plethora of local street food stalls and 7-Eleven stores are just a short stroll away. Rooftop Relaxation and Dining The highlight of the stay was the rooftop swimming pool on the 20th floor. It offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of Bangkok, which is particularly breathtaking at sunset. There is also a poolside bar where you can unwind with a cocktail after a long day of sightseeing. Regarding the breakfast buffet, it served a decent variety of Western and Asian dishes. While the menu stayed relatively consistent each day, the quality was good, and the dining area provided a welcoming atmosphere to start the morning. Service and Hospitality The staff at Furama Silom deserve a special mention. From the concierge to the housekeeping team, the service was warm and professional. Check-in was efficient, and they were always ready to assist with taxi bookings or local recommendations. Their hospitality truly embodies the ”Land of Smiles.” Points for Consideration While my stay was overall very positive, it is worth noting that the hotel has a bit of a ”vintage” feel. Some parts of the interior show their age, with slightly dated carpets and furniture. However, the hotel is clearly undergoing maintenance and renovations to address this, and given the competitive pricing, the value for money remains exceptionally high. Verdict I would recommend Furama Silom Hotel to travelers who prioritize location and space over ultra-modern luxury. It is a practical, comfortable, and friendly base for exploring everything Bangkok has to offer. Whether you are here for a short business trip or a week-long vacation, it provides a reliable and pleasant experience.

I thought it would be an issue with more than two people but they weee surprisingly understanding! So if you have any group trips this would be the perfect place to book while in BKK

MMitchelI had a very pleasant stay at Arawana Regency Park Sukhumvit during my recent visit to Bangkok. The location is excellent, situated in the Sukhumvit area and within walking distance to restaurants, convenience stores, and public transportation, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the basic amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, and the housekeeping staff maintained the room well throughout my stay. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which allowed me to rest after a busy day in Bangkok. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with questions or requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, especially for travelers looking for a comfortable and well-located place in Bangkok. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip.
