AAnonymous UserThe place has a great atmosphere, is spacious, and offers relaxing areas with tables and a kitchen that you can use if needed. Transportation is convenient, as it’s close to the MRT. There are also plenty of places nearby for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Highly recommended for solo travelers—you can stay here comfortably and feel at ease.

GGuest UserI stayed at Collection O The Spades Hostel for a few nights and had a good overall experience. The location is very convenient, especially if you want to explore central Bangkok. It’s not too far from public transport, and there are plenty of small restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby, so it’s easy to find food anytime.
The hostel itself has a nice, modern design. I liked the common area because it felt comfortable and relaxing, and it’s a good place to sit, work, or meet other travelers. The room was simple but had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable enough for a short stay, and the air conditioning worked well, which is very important in Bangkok’s weather.
The staff were friendly and polite. They helped answer my questions and made the check-in process smooth. I also felt safe during my stay, as the building is secure and quiet at night.
There are a few small things that could be improved. The cleanliness in shared areas depends on other guests, so sometimes the bathroom was not as clean as I expected. Also, the facilities are quite basic, so if you are looking for something more luxurious, this might not be the best choice.
Overall, I think this hostel is great for budget travelers. It offers good value for the price, a convenient location, and a comfortable place to rest after a long day exploring the city. I would consider staying here again.

Cons
The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation.
The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are.
A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened.
There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only.
The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable.
There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened.
The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone.
The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove.
Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling.
Pros
The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person.
Clean bed linen.
The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure.
The room includes a new hairdryer, a refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery.
There is a balcony facing the courtyard, where smoking is allowed.
The staff were polite and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and explained everything clearly, and the housekeeping staff were also very friendly.
The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle to nearby shopping malls.
The location is convenient, close to M-Sphere, Emporium, and the M District, which was the main reason we chose this hotel.
Overall
Suitable for a short stay of one night.
The main drawback is the outdated rooms and mismatch with the photos.
The location and staff are the hotel’s strongest points.

Минусы
Номера сильно устаревшие. Мебель, стены, углы и ванная с потёртостями и сколами, требуется обновление и ремонт.
Фотографии на сайте не соответствуют текущему состоянию номеров: выглядят новыми, тогда как по факту номера давно не обновлялись.
В номере была заявлена плита, но фактически она отсутствовала — была закрыта и зафиксирована деревянной панелью, воспользоваться ею невозможно.
В номере нет чая и кофе, несмотря на то, что на фотографиях присутствует кофемашина. Чай можно взять на ресепшене в дневное время.
Кондиционер шумный, работает без переносного пульта, управление осуществляется с настенного блока с ограниченным количеством режимов. Даже на минимальном режиме шум заметный.
В туалете нет вытяжки, после душа пар остаётся в комнате, уходит только при открытой двери.
Телевизор показывает только тайские каналы, Smart TV отсутствует, подключение телефона невозможно.
Кухонная зона оборудована раковиной, шкафчиками и посудой, но нефункциональна из-за отсутствия плиты.
Из-за общего износа поверхностей номер визуально выглядит неаккуратно, несмотря на уборку.
Плюсы
Удобная кровать, по две подушки на человека.
Чистое постельное бельё.
Ванная комната была чистой, хороший напор воды.
В номере есть новый фен, холодильник, посуда и столовые приборы.
Есть балкон, выходящий во двор, на котором можно курить.
Вежливый и отзывчивый персонал: девушка на ресепшене хорошо говорит по-английски и подробно всё объясняет, горничные также оставили приятное впечатление.
Предоставляется гольф-кар трансфер до ближайших торговых центров.
Удобное расположение рядом с M-Sphere, Emporium и M-кварталом, что было основной причиной выбора отеля.
Итог
Подходит для краткой остановки на одну ночь.
Основной минус — сильно устаревшие номера и несоответствие фотографиям.
Расположение и персонал — сильные стороны отеля.

Bad experience : old pillow & bad experience on the body massage. Don't know if the massage place beside the hotel lobby owned by the hotel but they put the advertisement for it on receptionist counter & in the hotel rooms too. My 3days trip was for leisure & food & Thai massage so I was really excited to get body massage, & that's why I booked this hotel bcs near massage place. But get bad experience. The lady that massage me was not gentle, I got bruised skin & ache, she keep gossiping with staff that massage the person beside me & I can't relax. I checked-in hotel at 2200pm then I went down again for a massage bcs I planned to get a massage everyday for my trip (yea, I was really excited for the massage, even at night & tired bcs just arrive but still I want body massage). I told the lady to be gentle & not press hard when massage bcs I'm in pain, but she argued that I was in pain bcs I refused to upgrade the massage with using oil (have to add certain amount, can't remember). I said to her that before this like 20 times I've been getting Thai massage for over 10 years already & I never in pain. I said that she pressed too hard & not gentle & I showed her the pressure that I want by squeezed her hand. She said that I was stingy bcs don't want to upgrade to using oil. I said that it's not about money, but I don't like oil massage & it's never been a problem before at other place. After that she slow her pressure when massage but she keep talking with her friend & sometime can feel she doesn't seriously massage me. Bcs of that bad 1 hour massages, I can't go to massage everyday like I initially planned bcs the lingering pain is still there. Even now I'm back home, the pain & bruise still there.
To summarise, the room is okay bcs my checklist for good hotel room is short (clean & good water pressure) but please get full body massage elsewhere. I don't want anyone else to feel traumatised like me bcs Thai body massage is really good, just find other place to get massage, not at this hotel.

GGlenn ChinOverall the location is great, very near to train station. The area is full of food choices and it’s convenient. Room is good but the facilities is a bit run down. Hence, there is a big rest area for us to have over packed food or a simple cooking. Toilet needs to be enhanced, too many stagnant water spots and it’s smelly.
My bad experience is with the reception and most of them is very bad in communication and I felt a bit rude.

The room is spacious and comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. There is a small kitchenette where you can heat up food, which is very convenient. The staff are friendly and helpful. A nice bonus was a complimentary foot massage voucher for one of the guests

Other downsides:
1. There was often loud running water from other guests' bathrooms.
2. There was no dedicated place to hang towels in the bathroom (only a protruding column behind the bathroom door for hanging clothes and towels).
3. The room had a wardrobe, but no hangers were provided.
4. There were no tissues in the room.
5. My room was on the first floor, and the water pressure for the showerhead was a bit low (though the rain shower pressure was okay).

GGuest UserEverything was wonderful. We stayed in an executive two-bedroom suite with two beds. The room was spacious and clean, with complimentary tea, coffee, water, sugar, and creamer. Our room, 188, included free breakfast on the 43rd floor. The breakfast had a good variety of options and I really enjoyed it, especially the delicious juices. The ladies at the front desk were lovely and explained everything clearly. The staff was very helpful with everything, including luggage delivery and removal. We booked a taxi to Pattaya at a reasonable price, and they even walked us to the taxi and helped us get settled. The Baiyoke Suite Hotel is conveniently located next to Baiyoke Sky, with shops, markets, and eateries all nearby. It's also easy to get to directly from the airport. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting, and it wasn't a straightforward process to reconnect, requiring us to go to the front desk. We definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

The property is under maintenance, but most of the room amenities are good, and rooms are spacious with sofa and 2 TV’s, only need some maintenance in bathroom.
Overall our stay experience was good.

GGuest UserThis is a nice hotel! It is clean with spacious rooms and access to a pool. Also very quiet during my stay. Due to the location being very residential, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for anyone wanting to see plenty of Bangkok - anything of note will require a taxi or use of the metro. There was a lot of walking involved to get to the 7-11 or nearby restaurants. All round it was good for the price if a little far from the main stretch itself.
