2-Star Hotels in Bangkok

Even though I always take taxis and haven't used other public transport, there's a BTS station nearby, so the location is pretty convenient. The front desk service was excellent. When I arrived, I had some trouble communicating with the taxi driver, and he got a bit upset. I called the front desk, and they actually ended up arguing. When I got to the hotel, the lady at the front desk kept apologizing to me; she was very kind. The room isn't huge, but my only requirements for accommodation are cleanliness, convenient transport, and a reasonable price, so this place fits the bill. I only stayed one night. The next day, I headed to Pattaya; it's about a 30-minute taxi ride to the bus station in Bangkok that goes to Pattaya.

The room was spotless and brand new. I stayed in a room with an en-suite bathroom. Although it was a bit small, the decor and design were excellent. Even though it's in a bustling area, I was still able to sleep soundly. The bedding was pristine. It's only a one-minute walk to the BTS station, and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended for solo travelers staying for a few days.

The neighborhood is awful, smells like fish. I think even the taxi driver was scared when he arrived. This was my first time in a hostel. The bedding was clean, the air inside was fresh, and the staff were polite. I asked for an early check-in, and they accommodated me without extra charge because I really needed to sleep. It was comfortable to sleep, and there were no drunkards or unruly people, just young and decent guests. A bed for one night cost 500 rubles, which is perfect just for sleeping.

The place is clean, the bed, the restrooms, and even the lobby. The staff are all friendly one thing I think that's important and must be improve is that inside the capsule it doesn't support fast charging and had to charge at the lobby even though it's protected by cctv I still prefer to charge where it's within my reach despite resting especially I was placed in the capsule on the 3rd floor and leaving my powerbank charge on the lobby kinda puts me iffy. It's best value for money so cheap but clea

The service here is great, but there were many issues: 1) Address was wrong on trip app and I wasn’t able to get there on Bolt. I hailed a taxi as it was raining and called the hotel as the driver couldn’t find the location. I was told the road name but not where. I called again and no one could speak thai to the driver. In the end, I managed to navigate using google maps, and it was fortunate that I can speak Thai, because the driver couldn’t only speak thai. However trip was very generous and refunded my taxi and bolt. 2) My first room was next to the railway track and the sound of the trains + horn kept me up, and when i managed to sleep, I woke up at 5am because of the first train. That was room number 206. The hotel was misrepresented as a hotel with laundry and a dryer for clothes, but it did not have that. The nearest laundry next to the hotel is at 100Baht per kilo. However, the receptionist kindly directed me to a coin operated laundromat about 10mins walk away, and it was just 70baht for a full load, with a dryer at 50baht for 25mins. 3) I requested for a room change and this time, was allocated room 401 which I could still hear the trains but it wasn’t so loud. I thought that was the end of my troubles, but it only began in earnest after that. The first night, the lift got spoilt and I had to walk up 4 flights of stairs using my handphone as a torch as it was so dark. The receptionist walked up with me and there were no handrails on the steps. Children walking up may fall off! 4) I woke at 6am the next day and realised after filling the bath tub, that the water was tepid warm at best, even after setting the heater to maximum heat. I also found bites all over my legs and back, and concluded that there were either bugs on the bed or something. I went to reception and requested that they do a deep clean of the room and fix the heater. When I got back after a day of exploring, the heater was still not fixed, the room looked clean and neat and they gave me another 2 bottles of water which was 👍. The receptionist asked me to try the bed again, and I got bitten, again. I tried to sleep and managed to sleep but was woken up by construction noises on Monday at 7am. I was warned that there was construction happening in advance, so I was prepared for it, but didn’t realise it would start that early :) 5) Day 3 was check out, and I was very impressed with the service. An older man helped me with the bags into Bolt, and it was fast and seamless. All in all, the service was great but the hotel wasn’t. It looked clean but that room I stayed in gave me severe bites + allergies. I will not be back even though the location is excellent.

From the welcome to check out we received good hospitality. AC was week and asked to look into it , they changed the room right away which was good , small room but for a overnight stay at that location as the location is prime is an excellent choice for doing your day work easily. We had work in the Indian embassy and it’s a walkable distance , 7-11 is 1 mint away and BTS station and MRT station is very close. Only thing we saw one cockroach in the room but otherwise for an overnight stay it’s a good choice.

Decent budget hotel. But reception area was full of boxes and people working on packing deliveries for another business. It was good for a one night stay. Close to train station for airport link.

Big and clean room, really kind women at the check in, very good location. Would recommend!

Overall, I had a decent stay. The staff were polite, the location was convenient, and the room was comfortable enough. However, the hotel really needs to improve its cleanliness. The room and common areas could have been much cleaner, and housekeeping should pay more attention to detail.

The hotel is right in the city center, within walking distance to major shopping areas and attractions. The subway station is right downstairs, making getting around incredibly convenient. Even though it's in a bustling area, the room windows are well soundproofed, offering a peaceful retreat from the noise. The value for money is outstanding – it's definitely my top choice when visiting this city!
