"I always stay in this hotel every time i visit Bangkok. It's located close to MRT station, around 300 m distance. There are plenty of eateries around and 7-11 outlets are a ston's throw away. The caretaker of the hotel is friendly although limited English is spoken. The room price is affordable. At night you can walk to the vividly busy Huai Khwang night market for fruits and food."

"I stayed on Friday. The sauna gets crowded after work, around 6 p.m. There are both guests staying here and people who aren’t—about 90% are foreigners who speak Chinese, with a small number of Europeans. There’s a mix of attractive and average-looking people; it really depends on personal taste. The accommodation itself is simple and nice, and people are friendly, though language can sometimes be a barrier. When people want to have fun, they usually go to the sauna area. The accommodation area itself is generally quiet, which is good because it doesn’t disturb anyone."

Amazing
GGuest UserThe best hotel for you to stay in Bangkok; it was our first time in the city and the staff were accommodating to us. Our room was really spectacular, views all over Phra Nakhon and most of the spots that we visited were just a few minute drive from our hotel. I really recommend this place for anyone who's traveling to see the sights and beauty of Thailand and its people. With budget in mind, they really exceeded our expectations. We will see you again soon khap! ขอบคุณครับ! 🤍✨ ขอบคุณครับ!

GGuest UserIt's right by the road, so it can be quite noisy. Light sleepers might want to reconsider. On the bright side, you can store your luggage even after check-out, and they'll even hold it for your baggage transfer service free of charge. Just a heads-up, they provide slippers but no toothbrush – typical for a hostel. It's fine for a one-night stay, but not really suitable for long-term visits. Oh, and there's a 7-Eleven nearby and Lumpini Park is within a 20-minute walk.

GGuest UserThis apartment offers top-notch service. The front desk staff were exceptional. Absolutely wonderful. I felt right at home. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was fantastic. It's a very quiet place, perfect for resting after a trip. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Bangkok. I really love this apartment. The front desk staff were not only beautiful but also kind and approachable. That feeling of being home was truly amazing.

AAnonymous UserDuring my recent stay at Collection O The Spades Hostel, I was pleasantly surprised by how well this property combined comfort, affordability, and a vibrant social atmosphere. It’s a great option for both solo travelers and small groups looking for a cozy place to stay without sacrificing convenience or cleanliness. The first thing that caught my attention upon arrival was the warm and helpful staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, taking only a few minutes. The receptionist greeted me with a friendly smile and quickly provided all the necessary information about the facilities, Wi-Fi password, and nearby attractions. Their professionalism and hospitality immediately made me feel welcome. The hostel itself has a modern yet homey design. The interiors are simple but stylish, with clean lines and well-thought-out details. My room was surprisingly spacious for a hostel, featuring a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a spotless private bathroom. The linens were clean and smelled fresh, and I appreciated that housekeeping maintained the room daily. The Wi-Fi connection was stable and fast, making it easy for me to work remotely and stream movies in the evening. One of the highlights of The Spades Hostel is its common area. It’s a cozy space where travelers can relax, socialize, or catch up on some reading. The shared lounge has comfortable sofas, soft lighting, and a few board games available for guests. I met travelers from different countries there, and we ended up sharing travel tips and stories well into the night. It truly felt like a friendly community rather than just a place to sleep. In terms of location, Collection O The Spades Hostel is perfectly situated. It’s close to public transportation, cafes, convenience stores, and several local attractions. Whether I wanted to grab a quick bite, go shopping, or explore the city, everything was within walking distance. Despite being near the main road, the hostel remained quiet at night, allowing me to get a good night’s sleep. The hostel also offers a few extra amenities that add great value for money. There’s laundry service available for guests, 24-hour front desk support, and luggage storage for those who need to check out but still want to explore the city before leaving. I also appreciated that they take security seriously—access to rooms is controlled, and the staff is always present at the reception area. If I had to mention one minor downside, it would be that the breakfast selection was limited. However, the quality of what they offered—fresh coffee, toast, and fruit—was good enough to start the day. Overall, my stay at Collection O The Spades Hostel was an excellent experience. It strikes a perfect balance between affordability, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hostel to travelers looking for a clean, well-managed, and centrally located accommodation. Whether you’re backpacking through the city or staying for business, this place offers everything you need for a pleasant and memorable stay.

11WanderAwayI recently enjoyed another delightful stay at Yakthai Poshtel, marking my fourth visit to this charming establishment. I checked in at 1:30am and was warmly greeted by Wishai, the evening front desk staff member, who made the late check-in process smooth and hassle-free. The front daytime desk staff, Pan and the newly hired Beau, were exceptionally friendly and helpful during my check-out, leaving a positive lasting impression. Peiw, the housekeeper, ensured that everything was immaculately clean, maintaining the high standards I’ve come to expect here. The poshtel offers private rooms with shared toilets and showers, and the added comfort of being able to control your own air conditioning made my stay even more enjoyable. Yakthai Poshtel also features a small, cozy café downstairs where you can buy coffees and teas, and that serves a simple free breakfast for guests. I appreciated the convenience of having souvenirs available for purchase and the unique option to rent traditional Thai costumes for events or memorable photos. The poshtel's location is ideal, situated in a quiet area directly across from the stunning Wat Ratchabophit temple. Each stay reaffirms my decision to keep returning, as the friendly and helpful staff truly make Yakthai Poshtel feel like a home away from home.

JJohnlijangSukum Huai Khwang Guesthouse is a comfortable and affordable accommodation option for travelers who want to stay in a convenient area of Bangkok without spending too much. The guesthouse is located in the Huai Khwang district, close to local restaurants, convenience stores, street food, and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are clean, simple, and well-maintained. While the design is not luxurious, everything is practical and suitable for travelers who mainly need a place to rest. The beds are comfortable, the air conditioning works well, and the rooms are quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. Free Wi-Fi is available and generally stable, which is useful for both leisure and work purposes. One of the highlights of Sukum Huai Khwang Guesthouse is its friendly and helpful staff. The staff are polite, welcoming, and always ready to assist with directions, transportation advice, or general questions about the area. This warm service makes guests feel relaxed and well taken care of during their stay. The location is another strong point. The guesthouse is within walking distance of Huai Khwang MRT station, allowing easy access to major attractions, shopping areas, and business districts around Bangkok. The surrounding neighborhood also offers an authentic local atmosphere, which is great for travelers who want to experience everyday life in the city. Overall, Sukum Huai Khwang Guesthouse is a great choice for budget-conscious travelers, solo travelers, or short-term visitors who value cleanliness, convenience, and friendly service. It may not offer luxury facilities, but it provides good value for money and a pleasant stay in a well-connected area of Bangkok.

GGuest UserI stayed here for one night and absolutely loved the vibe. The hostel is super cute, and the owner is incredibly kind—always smiling and even offered me free water, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Everyone here seemed happy and friendly, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming. I honestly didn’t want to leave, but I already had another place booked for New Year’s. I paid almost three times the usual price for a king-size room due to the New Year rush, but it was totally worth it. The room was comfortable, and the location is extremely convenient, making everything easy to access. Would 100% stay here again. Highly recommended! 😊
