"Stayed many times, and felt very satisfied. But this time stayed 3 nights continuously, and they didn't clean the room even once, and need to ask for a new towel. Not sure if need to request room cleaning during check-in or every morning. Would try next time."

GGuest UserThe best hotel for you to stay in Bangkok; it was our first time in the city and the staff were accommodating to us. Our room was really spectacular, views all over Phra Nakhon and most of the spots that we visited were just a few minute drive from our hotel. I really recommend this place for anyone who's traveling to see the sights and beauty of Thailand and its people. With budget in mind, they really exceeded our expectations. We will see you again soon khap! ขอบคุณครับ! 🤍✨ ขอบคุณครับ!

CChris33668Perfect stay at this Hostel. I stayed in a private double room which was very spacious and clean. The price of 900THB per night is completely fair and valid. The staff made it easy to extend my stay here and were always very helpful. They also have great amenities like laundry and a kitchen. One thing on the downside is that the doors are not sound proof at all and you can here if your neighbor closes their door. Thanks for having me, i'll come back soon!

GGuest UserThis apartment offers top-notch service. The front desk staff were exceptional. Absolutely wonderful. I felt right at home. The room was very clean, and the breakfast was fantastic. It's a very quiet place, perfect for resting after a trip. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Bangkok. I really love this apartment. The front desk staff were not only beautiful but also kind and approachable. That feeling of being home was truly amazing.

GGuest UserWe traveled with a young child and picked this hotel as we wished to visit the surrounding temples. The staff gave us a warm welcome, assisted with the luggage storage and helped booking a taxi to reach the airport. They also gave us good recommendations regarding the area. It was a great experience that we will remember. Thank you.

GGuest UserIt's about a 10-minute walk to the nearest BTS station. The hygiene is decent, though the restroom wasn't sparkling clean. The main draw is the very affordable price, and the AC works well. There's a lobby area where you can eat, play games, and chat. A 7-Eleven right downstairs is super convenient for grabbing essentials. It's about 1 km from the famous Milk Boy street and Chulalongkorn University's popular street. It's also not far from the Siam shopping district and the famous Bangkok skywalk. This place is perfect for budget travelers and solo adventurers. Overall, for a three-day stay, the value for money was quite good.

JJohnlijangThe Chatbox Silom Hostel is a cozy, budget-friendly accommodation located in the heart of Bangkok’s vibrant Silom area. Its location is one of its strongest assets — tucked between Silom Road and Surawong Road, it offers easy access to BTS Chong Nonsi (just a 5-minute walk), Sala Daeng, and the MRT. This makes it very convenient for exploring Bangkok’s business districts, nightlife, and key tourist areas. The hostel itself is clean and well-maintained. According to guests, the rooms and common areas are tidy, and the beds offer a comfortable rest. The shared bathrooms are modest but functional, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, making it practical for both leisure travelers and backpackers. One of the highlights is the rooftop terrace, which adds character to the hostel and provides a relaxing spot to hang out or unwind after a long day of sightseeing. The shared lounge has a welcoming vibe, and there’s a small kitchen area for guests who prefer to prepare simple meals. Staff receive praise for their helpfulness and friendliness, with many guests noting they go out of their way to assist with bookings and local tips. That said, some travelers mention that there are times when no one is at reception, which can be inconvenient. In terms of value, The Chatbox Silom Hostel is especially attractive. According to booking sites, rooms and dorm beds are very reasonably priced. However, a few negative comments have surfaced: some guests report weak reception staff, occasional cleanliness issues (especially in bathrooms), or overbooking problems. Overall, The Chatbox Silom Hostel is a solid choice for solo travelers or budget-conscious backpackers who want a safe, well-located, and relatively quiet place to stay in Silom. While it’s not a luxury hostel, it provides all the essentials at a fair price and delivers a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

GGuest UserOverall Experience: This hotel is a decent option, especially if you want to escape the city's hustle and bustle. The rooftop room I booked was incredibly spacious and cozy, perfect for a relaxing night even when it rained. The location is a bit tricky, with no parking and a narrow alleyway leading to the entrance, but it's worth it for the peace and quiet. The highlight was definitely the rooftop room. It felt so open and comfortable. However, the open-air bathroom might not be for everyone, especially if you're shy. For me, it was completely fine. Just be aware there’s no elevator, and if you’re on the 6th floor like I was, be ready for a bit of a climb! Bringing snacks and drinks up with you is a good idea to avoid going up and down too often. The view from the top floor room was absolutely amazing. It was a great reward after the climb. haha! P.s..I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a unique and quiet experience and doesn't mind a bit of a workout to get to their room. The view and the rooftop room are fantastic. :)

It is an excellent choice for travelers who want convenient access to public transportation while staying in a quieter, local neighborhood. The guesthouse is within walking distance of Huai Khwang MRT Station, making it easy to reach popular attractions, shopping areas, and business districts around the city. The rooms are simple but clean, offering essential amenities such as air conditioning, a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, and comfortable bedding. Although the rooms are not luxurious, they are well-maintained and suitable for both short and long stays. Housekeeping is provided regularly, ensuring a tidy and pleasant environment for guests. One of the highlights of Sukum Huai Khwang Guesthouse is its friendly and helpful staff. The staff members are welcoming and always willing to assist with directions, transportation advice, or local recommendations. GGuest UserIt’s okey for the price and staff is very friendly but i must think about everyone their health when considering to opt for a hostel with a shared bedroom instead of a private bedroom what they also offer but was full booked when i arrived, the issue is that you will must calculate to become sick. I just arrived back yesterday home and having the flue after staying their for 3 days and on day one i realized that their was a high chance for me becoming ill because some people were already ill their. So unfortunatly because social structures caused that 95% of the world population to financially suffer, the once ill have no other choice than putting themselves in a situation were they will infect others and after that when you travel back to your country of origin you risk to contaminate everyone else. And unfortunetly such situations are not avoidable unless the governments start financially to uplift everyone up. So it’s a risk we take, i have now islolated myself to avoid contemenating anyone else and the only reason i can do so is because i can financially risk it as i have about 11 000 euro in savings. But most cannot afford this at all because once we calculate what is everyone their equal financial share of all liquid funds available what is roughly 45 Trillion American dollars in global wealth for the estimated world population of 8.2 billion people, we release it is only around 5500 American dollars each for their entire lifetime. And most of that funds is already in the bankers position as they get paid intrest on top of all the money they print from thin air and by that we are all channeling our collective survival funds in their pockets and now we see what this is causing upon our collective health. How many worldwide will be impacted and die because of the flue that could have been prevented if the monetary system was created fairly?
