"The hotel's best asset is its location, right at Exit B of Fengqi Road Metro Station – you step out and you're there. If you're arriving at Hangzhou East Railway Station, getting to the hotel is super convenient. It's also very close to attractions like the West Lake's Bai Causeway and Broken Bridge, about a 15-minute walk. The hotel is a bit older, so some of the facilities show their age, but it's still quite convenient to stay in. There are four elevators which are fast, so you don't have to wait long even during peak hours. The breakfast is excellent and served in the 12th-floor restaurant with a view, where you can find local specialties. The staff clear tables quickly, keeping things orderly even when it's busy. I highly recommend the Tianxiang Lou restaurant on the 2nd floor; it seems like a local favorite, offering authentic and affordable dishes, and hotel guests even get a 10% discount. Next door, there's also a Chuyi Matcha shop with tasty treats. All in all, it's a very convenient hotel. Highly recommended for anyone visiting West Lake."

"We stayed at Holiday Inn Express, and overall we have no complaints about the hotel itself. The property is very well located — only about six minutes by car from the airport. This was exactly why we chose it: we were arriving very late, close to 1 a.m., and we were traveling with our 4-year-old child. We needed a hotel as close as possible so we could get some sleep immediately after landing. Another important criterion for us was a good breakfast, to wake up, eat, and continue our trip. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and quality linens. Everything necessary was provided, and the bathroom facilities were modern and clean. However, there is one major issue that future guests should be aware of. If you arrive late at night and choose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, please take a taxi and do not rely on the hotel’s pickup service. This was our biggest disappointment. We spent almost an hour trying to follow the directions sent to us via WeChat, but the staff were not able to provide clear instructions. They also never mentioned that the shuttle runs only once per hour at fixed times. For example, the shuttle time was 1:08 a.m., and we landed at 12:30 a.m. If the staff had simply told us that we could not make it, we would have taken a taxi immediately. Instead, we received a message at 1:07 saying “please hurry,” even though we had been walking in the completely wrong direction due to unclear guidance. Traveling with a child, we lost more than an hour and then had to wait outside even longer. Breakfast was another point of confusion. At check-in, we were told breakfast was served until 10:30. We arrived at 10:35, only to learn it actually ends at 10:00. Thankfully, the restaurant staff were extremely kind and prepared breakfast especially for us — eggs, salad, bread, yogurt for the child, and fruit. This human touch truly made a difference, and we appreciate their warm service. Overall, this is a good hotel with an excellent location, but the information about the shuttle service and breakfast times should be communicated more clearly. I hope this helps other travelers plan better. 我们入住的是 Holiday Inn Express（智选假日酒店）。总体来说，酒店本身没有任何问题。位置非常好，离机场开车大约 6 分钟。因为我们是凌晨一点左右抵达，而且带着 4 岁的孩子，所以需要一家离机场最近的酒店，方便一到就可以休息。另外，我们也很看重早餐，希望早上吃过早餐后继续行程。房间很宽敞，床非常舒服，床品质量很好，房间里所需用品也都齐全。卫生间设施也很新、很好。但是有一点非常重要，希望未来的客人一定注意：如果您是深夜抵达，并且因为酒店离机场近才选择这里，请直接打车，不要依赖酒店的接驳车服务。这是我们此行最大的失望。我们根据酒店工作人员通过微信发来的指引找出口，几乎找了一个小时，但指引非常不清晰。更重要的是，他们完全没有告诉我们酒店的接驳车是固定时刻、每小时只有一班。例如，当天接驳车时间是 1:08，我们在 12:30 落地。如果工作人员能直接告诉我们赶不上这班车，我们肯定第一时间就会打车，而不是继续盲目寻找。结果我们在 1:07 收到“请快点”的消息，但由于方向完全错误，我们反而越走越远。带着孩子，这段折腾让我们损失了一个多小时，之后还要在外面继续等待，非常辛苦。早餐方面也出现了信息不一致的问题。办理入住时被告知早餐供应到 10:30，但我们 10:35 到达时才发现早餐其实只到 10:00。幸好餐厅的工作人员非常友善，为我们专门做了早餐——煎蛋、沙拉、面包、给孩子的酸奶和水果。他们的贴心服务让我们非常感动。总体来说，这是一家位置极佳的好酒店，但需要在接驳车服务和早餐时间的沟通方面更加清晰。希望这条评价能帮助其他旅客更好地规划行程。"

"Really good hotel. Located in Mall building, occupied only some floors. Localisation is really great, very close to the Western Lake. Next to a lot of shops and restaurants, they are even in the same building (for example Haidilao on the same floor). Rooms - I have a bigger one with the city view, so it was very comfortable. There is a laundry room, mini gym and big patio with nice view (so no need to go downstairs to smoke). Breakfest - acceptable. The only one bad thing is terrible coffee on the breakfest."

"The owner is incredibly nice! They called in advance to ask if I needed help carrying my luggage upstairs, and I said yes. The guesthouse's location is excellent, right between West Lake Scenic Area and Lingyin Temple. They even offer a free electric scooter for guests. The only downside is that in winter, the scooter doesn't have handlebar muffs, so my hands were numb from the cold after riding it at night. I really liked the outdoor lounging area for guests. There were even sunflower seeds, peanuts, almonds, and coffee on the table – quite a tasty selection! The guesthouse slippers were surprisingly thick and comfy, but the toiletries were pretty standard. The toilet seat wasn't heated, which was a bit chilly 🥶. On the bright side, the air conditioning heated the room very well – nice, nice!"
